Worst breakfast experience ever. My Aunt and I have been going to the same Souplantation in Brea about 3 times a month for the last 5 years. Sunday mornings are always busy so they seat you(versus the usual seat yourself). We prefer to wait for a booth. This morning they allowed a man to skip the line — skip the cashier — and to basically take our booth literally out from underneath us. The hostess was seating us at the table when he dived into the seat explaining that his wife was in line getting his food. Sundays are busy and at the time there were only outside tables available. Again we chose to wait following their rules for another 15 minutes until the another booth opened up. We were eventually seated in the booth directly behind him where he continued to sit without first paying and with no food. His claim to the hostess was that this was his first time there. The hostess said«Well I don’t think he’s going to move. Sorry.» So while he sat at a table with no food, the hot breakfast buffet closed on us. So much for the restaurant’s loyalty to regular customers. By the way, I did the math. We’ve spent over $ 3,600.00 at the Souplantation in Brea over the last 5 years. Today they just lost our business.

If this place has Broccoli Cheese soup, you have hit the jackpot. Pro tip of all pro tips, right there. Plus, this location is pretty clean compared to some other ones I’ve been to. No empty pots of soup or pasta, so staff is on point over here. Parking’s wrapped around the back of the building. It’s a bit annoying, but you’ll find a spot eventually.

Souplantation, one of the greatest case studies on convenience. Let me make you walk through colorful veggies to get to carb land and, perhaps you will put some vegetables on your plate. This is the go to Souplantation spot in the area for our family and with good reason: Quality: the quality of the food they put out is, in my opinion, a notch above the puente hills and fullerton location. My measurement is based on the sauce to salad ratio on the asian sesame, and the crispiness of the muffin top on the blueberry muffin. Layout: this souplantation went through a recent overhaul and one of the best things it has going for it is that everything is centrally located next to everything else. some souplantations have their soup station on one end of the cafeteria area and their bakery goods on the next. Here, it is one central location, thus making it easier to pig out and less time worrying about where the damn chicken noodle soup is. The service: This place has some of the most attentive staff I have ever seen. for the amount of work it takes to bus multiple tables at a time, this team has it down to a science. I am a big proponent of the case that buffet servers are some of the most under-tipped and under-appreciated people in the world, this staff falls on that list. If you’re looking for that salad craving, or let’s be honest the amazing carb selection they got in their bakery section, this is the go to Souplantation for the Chang family clan.

This will be my last visit here. I will start by saying I don’t eat often but now know why… first they were very busy but did not have a good system for seating people. They had two lines coming from the buffet but continued to seat from one side because our side had a big party… everyone behind them in that line had to wait. Then when I questioned the cashier about it her response was«you should come in our none peak times.» When we did get seated the seats were wet from being wiped down! Second, the severs had to check every glass before they used it because so many were dirty. Skipped getting a drink. Went to get bread… more dirty plates. I gave up eating at this point. If the dishes are not clean how sanitary is the kitchen and food preparation. Sorry I had to even give it one star.

This is the best place for kids! It has a huge selection of salads and soups. There are also pizza, macaroni & cheese(kids’ fav!) and muffins! My kids love this place. I can tell other parents like coming here also since it’s usually full of families with young kids.

Souplantation is a great option for lunch or dinner. I go here a lot for lunch or after work, for dinner. There are so many options, which always means that you leave this place super full! I love the new options of being able to take your salad, soup or whatever you like with you, to go!!! The blueberry muffins and chocolate muffins are killer… You almost can’t stop eating them!!! I love all of the changes with the seasons. This is a great marketing tactic.

The food and prices were very good. It appeared to me they are doing some remodeling in the dining area and just not kept up on the sweeping of the cement floors. I will go back when the remodel is completed.

Food is good here. Very good soup/salad selection and I really like berry muffins and corn cakes, just right not too sweet. I also tried their vanilla ice cream just so so but personally I am not a big fan of all ice cream. The service here is always welcoming and friendly so I think I can give this place a Five stars!

Let’s face it, with a chain, it all about the employees. And this location has a geat one, Arely A.(a cashier). She couldn’t do enough for us even though it was one of those crazy holiday nights right before Christmas. The place was packed but Arely kept a smile on her face and just kept helping people. Everything was stocked and clean which must have been hard work, again, considering how packed the place was.

Yum! I love soup plantation and sweet tomatoes. Do yourself a favor and sign up for their list Serv right now. They will bombard you with emails every week but one of these days you’re gonna be like… I’m craving a big ass salad… And then you’ll have your email ready for a $ 7.50 ayce salad buffet!(Of note, deals range from time to time and you can google them too but the email deals are sometimes better. Also check your grocery mailings bc sometimes they will mail you coupons!) this location didn’t have eggs which I thought was strange. Lots of parking but boy was it PACKED! There are a lot of doctor offices across the street and we went during lunch time so that must be why. Everything tastes great and I’ve never regretted eating at soup plantation or sweet tomato establishments.

It’s hard to give a buffet place a five-star rating, but for what it is, Souplantation delivers. The ingredients are fresh, the soups are made there and not reheated from frozen bricks like other restaurants like Panera, and they nearly always have a discount running. If you search«Souplantation coupon», you’re bound to find something that hasn’t expired. It is buffet, but in one way it isn’t really«buffet» in the sense that there aren’t million things to try. Usually it’s two salads, three trips to the soup bar, two trips to the bakery to eat their«flatbread»(it’s ok Souplantation, you can call it pizza), and one very tall and elegantly-balanced soft-serve ice cream cone that requires faux-amazed stares from friends and multiple selfies before consumption can begin. One more point — this place is very good for kids. They can eat themselves tired(the real point here), and the staff is friendly and accommodating. I think that this particular Souplantation is better than the others in Rowland Heights and Chino Hills.

I LOVE souplantation. But I think ill stick to the one in Amerige. Went in on a Saturday night, and it was PACKED. Maybe thats why our cashier had a b*tch face and gave me an attitude. 1 adult dinner and cup of water was $ 15. What? When I looked at my receipt, it said I was charged for a fountain drink. I told her nicely,“you charged me for a drink”. She cut me off before I could even finish saying«drink», by saying«uh no I didn’t.» I showed her my receipt and she said«oh I did. You want $ 2.49 back?» And gave me the change without saying sorry. I was pissed even before I got a table. You also have to wait for some foods because they get emptied out fast by the tons of hungry customers. Too crowded, okay food, and terrible service. Yeah no thanks, I wont be coming back here.

Pretty good. They have a wide salad selection after which you get soups(about 5 kinds), some breads, and desserts(soft serve and apple pie type thing). I felt Souper Salad(a competitor) had a slightly wider selection though Souper Salad has slightly lesser quality. The quality here was pretty good. For the salads, they didn’t have eggs due to the nationwide shortage but they had other fillers. I can’t recall exactly but everything you would expect from a big salad buffet you can find here. The place is pretty large and they can hold probably 150 or so. They maintain it well and they were quick to take away the dishes. I would recommend this place to break away from the normal greasier foods.

I generally am a big Souplantation fan… generally most of the things are good depends on the location. Salads have dropped a bit in quality since they don’t put chicken in it anymore… but whatever… the overall quality is not bad… this location is cleaner compared to some others… This time though the soups were too salty… I’m not sure why… I did tell the manager… I had 3 different ones… and all of them were saltier than other locations and this location as well… I know I’ll be back as I eat a lot of veggies nowadays… but hopefully they don’t raise my blood pressure with too much salt

Okay, I will admit I’m not a huge fan of salads or soups, but I do enjoy them once in a while. On the other hand, my wife loves her salads, soups and veggies. Souplantation satisfies both of us at one reasonable price and all you can graze, I mean eat. Don’t expect a Golden Corral(my fav) or Hometown buffet where you eat all the hearty food you desire. Here you can expect lots of fresh produce and salads. I’m talking farmer fresh quality too! You’ll love their made-from-scratch soups like New England Clam Chowder with bacon, Big Chunk Chicken Noodle and Deep Kettle House Chili just to name a few. I really enjoy the hot pasta like Roasted Eggplant Marinara, Lemon Greek Penne and Mac & Cheese. The foil wrapped bake potatoes(getting hungry aren’t you?) are always great. The bakery section offers warm buttermilk cornbread, cheesy garlic focaccia and delicious warm muffins. Today they had blueberry, lemon and chocolate, it’s all baked on site too. There’s even a dessert bar! Bring your kids here, it’s a great way to introduce them to fresh ingredients and a healthier option from burger and fries.

Yum! Fresh salads, friendly staff and clean inside. Like the fact they can scan the coupons from my phone, makes it easy to save a couple bucks without having to carry the paper ones with you. Great selection of teas, love it!

Souplantation offers a long list of salads and salad extras. It is a great place to eat healthy or not eat healthy. Choose wisely.
