Access Lock and Key

This was my first time ever calling a locksmith. I literally just got home from the airport and ended a week of business travel. I came home and broke my key in the dead bolt. Epic Fail on my part. I called Will and he showed up in a quick 20 minutes. He was very professional, informative, and efficient! He also fixed another door-​key-​lock situation (that has been long overdue) while he was onsite. The cost of all the services was very reasonable; I would definitely recommend him to anyone needing friendly and professional help. Thanks Will!!!

Fast, efficient and professional. Will was quick to respond and got me back into my car in no time. His knowledge of different cars and situations was important to me as I was driving a rental and couldn’t risk breaks or scratches. HIGHLY recommend.

while i was told that there was a $ 50 service charge, I was also told, on the phone that they had all locks to replace. Unfortunately, he did not have my lock, and only could offer advice for me to go to Home Depot to purchase a new lock. BUT… i had to still pay for the service charge. 50 Bucks for a suggestion to go to home Depot. Fair? You be the judge. Never again.

Was on time via what I was told. Like a dummy I dropped my keys in my trunk and then voila, I closed it. Called and had someone out to be in 20 minutes. Wish o had seen this Unilocal add first, but hence my phone was also locked in my trunk. I paid fifty bucks and here it says call for a 45 dollar lock out call. That’s okay, the guy was friend, efficient and had me on my way in 5 minutes!

I’m very happy with my lockout service tonight! A very stressful situation was made in to a minor inconvenience by the speedy and kind service!

I called Access to come change the locks on our new home in Franklin. They got to us same day and professionally changed the locks on all of our doors. After he drove away, I let my dogs out the backdoor and promptly locked myself out! I called from a neighbor’s house and he turned around, came back to my house and let me back in — free of charge. I think this is a great company and wouldn’t call anyone else if I needed a locksmith.

We had a great experience with Access Lock & Key they confirmed appointment, he was on time and quickly re-​keyed our new home. Being new to the area I was surprised to find out that there are no background checks or licensing required to operate this type of business. Knowing that Access Lock and Key is fully licensed, local and competitively priced is why we went with them.

Well. After my initial phone conversation when setting the appointment on Friday for a rekey first thing Monday morning, I was impressed. William seemed professional and ready to serve. He said they prided themselves on being on time to appointments and if running behind always called ahead. Scored points with me. I explained that I selected him based on a good review on Unilocal from a past customer. I even suggested he begin to utilize this service to grow his business. Being in real estate, I am always looking for quality vendors.
Fast forward to Monday. I had to call him at 9:20 to make sure he was still planning to show up. He initially seemed like he had forgotten about our appointment but said he would be there in about 15 minutes which would mean he was late. I’m in real estate so I understand sometime people run late but I selected him for my client and the first impression he has is that he is late. Not the best first impression.
This was a large re-​key and I left him with the owner to complete the job. About an hour in, I get a text from my client telling me the locksmith had an emergency and had to leave. My client was stranded there because half of the doors were not changed out. Turns out the emergency was another Realtor locked themselves out of their car in a parking lot at Lowes. I found that to be very unprofessional although a friendly gesture.
I may have to chalk this up to a bad day. That’s too bad because I had higher expectations.

SO PLEASED!!! Access Lock and Key are Great!! I usually use another company for any home or business issues I have. They were on (I’m sure a much needed) break so I had to find someone for my immediate need. I saw a very favorable review on Access Lock and Key & decided to try them. I was so pleased with the service I received! They came same day & didn’t try to inflate the bill in any way. Will Lanier is an honest, decent businessman and a good guy. He has several Real Estate clients he does work for as well. I was so pleased with the job he did & the price was fair. I would definitely use his service again! Please remember Access Lock and Key for any size job! I know I will.
