Chill Spot

Went for the first time yesterday! I got the Taro Milk Tea with bubbles, and my boyfriend got the mango milk tea with extra bubbles (which was .35 extra cents) I personally really liked the milk tea, but my boyfriend said his tasted terrible. That his drink just tasted like powder, but I liked mine!
They had these things callled chillers. Which you can add Red Bull to for an extra cost! I’m def gonna try that next time! I also really wanted to try their food! Their menu looked so relish! They had lots of wraps! the Buffalo Chicken was the one I wanted the most.

The wraps are sooo good — this is the type of food that you try once and start to crave again in a few days. The bubble tea is fun and there are smoothies and meals for the kids. The seating area is small, so not the best for large groups.

People, do yourself a favor and go check this little gem of a restaurant out. The food is absolutely fantastic and the owner is such a great guy. I suggest the Persian wrap with a side of spicy ranch (if you’re into spicy) and a side salad. Also, check out the strawberry chiller bubble tea. It’s very addictive!

Today I visited Chill Spot specifically to try the taro bubble tea. I was very disappointed bc the flavor was really bland and it was clear that the bubbles had not been soaked in simple syrup but the food was awesome. I had the day’s salad with regular ranch (the hot was just too hot) and it was really good. My sister had the club wrap and she raved that it was also very good.

Bubble tea in the Brentwood/​Franklin area?! so happy! Its been around for a while, but I forgot to review it. I like this little shop not only because of what they serve but its also a chill place to hang out and its near shopping like nordstrom rack and Tj Maxx. Parking isn’t too bad either.

After wanting to try this for a while I finally did today and I will be back.
I was expecting to really like the bubble tea and hoped the food was decent. I was surprised because the wrap and salad I had was great. I got the apple berry turkey wrap which was incredible. Tons of flavor in it. The dressing which came with the salad was great. I’m not sure what it was, but I do know it is the standard dressing which comes with the salad.
The bubble tea was disappointing. I’m not sure what I was expecting, but it was very meh. I will definitely be back for the food and I will pass on the bubble tea.

The wraps were great. Loved the Persian I had. Everyone else raved about theirs and said they would be back. The bubble tea was a little disappointing. The tapioca balls were nearly flavorless. The coconut melon milk tea wasn’t sweet enough. My girls got the smoothie version and they were pretty good but not great. The frozen version with frozen bubbles was weird to me. I have had much better bubble tea elsewhere. The service was OK. The high school guy that waited on us took himself a little too seriously and lacked personality. My wife summed him up with «meh». Still, even though it wasn’t perfect they earn a solid 4 stars from me.

Their Persian wrap was dabombdotcom. Plus — Boba! I’m definitely coming back. :)

This place has friendly and fast service but the bubble tea is mediocore… Although, its nice that they have real food (wraps and salads) instead of small snacks

Pretty ticked as I write this review. I went in to order a bubble tea, ordered, they spend about 15 minutes making it. I then get it and there’s no tapioca balls in it. I ask the girl at the register why there are no tapioca balls and she tells me they’re out (which they’re not — I saw she made bubble tea with them in someone else’s drink after I ordered). The entire reason I came in there was to get bubble tea and she just took my money. When I ask for a refund, she has an attitude with me. Not coming here again — there are MUCH better places in Nashville to get bubble tea, with employees that have better attitudes. I wish I could give this place zero stars.

Great lunch spot and the Mediterranean wrap is so good! If you like salmon, try their wrap.
This is a great place to eat when you are looking for a healthier alternative to the run of the mill fast food spots.

Chill Spot is a great place for a quick, healthy bite. The service is friendly though the food can take some time to prepare. The brothers that own the place are, predictably, super chill. Bubble tea is what they are known for, and I’ve only ever tried the milk tea caramel coffee option, but I can say that it was delicious and I’ll be buying it again. The portion sizes are rather large when it comes to the teas so you’ll be satisfied by that.
I have order many veggie wraps from here and every one of them have been well made and are consistently prepared in that they always seem to have the right/​same amount of ingredients. They will also add other ingredients to wraps, so be sure to ask about that if you want to go off-​menu. The wraps are filling as they never skimp on the sizes. I’ve always gotten the fruit cup as an option and the fruit always seems to be fresh and crisp. They have a good amount of seating which is nice because the place gets busy late afternoon and evening.
Highly recommend, bring a friend.

I needed to kill an hour and was a bit hungry. How appropriate it was whenever I stumbled onto the Chill Spot.
I got the Buffalo Chicken Wrap, and it wasdelicious! They didn’t skimp on the ingredients.
The atmosphere was fun and the music was great.
Definitely worth trying.

Best boba drinks in Nashville hands down! I have had both the taro smoothie and the taro coconut smoothie… and both were perfect.
I have not yet tried any of the food items, but they sound pretty good as well. I’m definitely looking forward to trying the Persian Wrap and the Cherry Chicken Wrap.
I wish this place was a bit closer to me, but I suppose the distance keeps me from having too many drinks!

This is a review of the milk tea only. We have been looking for good milk tea in this area and it’s very hard. I’ve had milk tea in California and it is amazing so when we found this place we were excited. The pearls were a little bland and not soft enough and the tea mix was kind of weird without ice.
This review is just on milk tea, we didn’t try the food.

While I was in town, I was excited to come here for bubble tea because of the rave Unilocal reviews, but I was sadly disappointed. I can’t say anything about the food since I haven’t tried that yet, but the bubble tea was definitely not up to par. I got the taro milk tea and it tasted very watered down and powdery. The tapioca was flavorless and overcooked too.

I’ve been meaning to write a Unilocal review on this place for about a year and a half now, since I go here at least once a week. I would dare say that there is not a better lunch place in Brentwood for your price, time, and quality.
First off, every single visit the staff is always all smiles, fast, and courteous. You can really tell that your business is appreciated. Although they are always busy during lunch time, your food is always delivered promptly, I don’t think I’ve ever waited longer than 5 minutes for my wrap.

I’ve tried just about every one of their wraps, but I’d have to say my favorite is between the Santa Fe Chicken (Chicken, Corn, Blackbeans, Rice, Southwest Sauce), and the Chicken Ranch (Chicken, Turkey Bacon, Avocado, Ranch etc.) They recently switched to all organic chicken, and you can definitely taste the difference! They also offer a very good wheat wrap alternative. The cool thing about their wraps is that they are not overly complex, all of the ingredients are of great quality and there is just beauty in the simplicity. Each wrap is served with a choice of chips or side salad. I LOVE their side salad with the fiery ginger dressing (probably the best dressing I’ve ever had, no joke). I am not lying when I say I could eat at this place everyday. Sometimes I eat it for lunch, and then I’ll crave it for dinner on the same day. Crazy.
They are also known for their Bubble Tea which comes in a plethora of different flavors. I personally haven’t had it, but people rave about it. So give it a shot if you are into that sort of thing.
Give it a shot, I promise you won’t be disappointed.

One of my favorite places! The bubble tea is a must! Our favorite combo is taro, vanilla, mocha as a chiller. Yummo! As for food, the salmon salad and Santa Fe chicken wrap are delish. Watch out, though! If spicy isn’t your thing you may want to ask for the sauce on the side with with Santa Fe wrap. And Jay is one great guy! He’ll take great care of you!

Alison L had bookmarked this place for YSB Nashville, and after a pleasant meat-&-three in Franklin, Tennessee, we stopped by to give it a shot. I’ve never seen Anglos make bubble tea before.
We take our Boba seriously in Austin, and all our places have their own Starbuck-​speak: «Let’s #1 please, half-​sugar, baby balls, call me Dave.» Chill Spot was a bit more simplistic — pick a flavor and pay them $ 4.50. This place apparently does very good wraps & salads, and started doing bubble tea at the suggestion of some sushi-​place within this strip mall. I went with our cashier’s recommendation, a kind of colorful fruit smoothie with Boba. «Summer Chiller?» It was interesting.
My instinct here was to go with three-​stars in a good way, but what the heck — the staff was friendly, the place was cool, and they brought the teas out to us. If I’m ever back down this way with an urge for balls, I can certainly Oppan Boba Style here.
