Its a nice cozy small hair salon.
I got my hair done with shyla who worked previously in pleasanton. First time she did my hair was incredible. Second time not so well. I believe she is more specialized in blonde. From dark to light she has trouble getting an ashy tone. It all comes out orange. I believe she uses the same product on everyones hair type. She also took thick hair pieces to color my hair. she used to take small thin pieces that way it was easier to lift.
I wanted the olaplex hair treatment and i dont even know if she actually used it because she was only explaining how good it is but not showing me the product. Olaplex no. 2 is suppose to be in the hair for couple mins and she rinsed my hair really quick. So god knows if i paid for no reason.
If someone tells you from black its hard to go light. True!
Its hard but not impossible. Ive seen people dye their hair black but still managed to go completely blonde. It just takes time and patience. Obviously it costs more…
If you use the rigt product it works. There are salons who dye your hair 8 hours long because after bleach they wash it and blow dry it, to do it all over again and then just a toner. They bleach it twice to go lighter without burning the hair.

I relocated to Brentwood a few years ago, and have struggled to find the right hairstylist who can highlight my hair the way I like it (dark and blonde). Morgan did my hair and was exactly how I wanted it. Not only is she extremely talented at her craft, but a truly good person and enjoyable to talk to. I highly recommend her.

I recently moved to East Contra Costa County and had Kim at Holy Hair recommended to me for my nails. I also needed a new hair salon, so decided to try them out for help with my difficult coloring grow-​out as well. Kim did a fabulous job on my nails and was so friendly and personable, the time with her just flew by. Sarah did a perfect job on my hair! It was EXACTLY what I wanted. I am happily returning again in preparation for my vacation.

If you read my reviews you know I have had a wonderful hairdresser for years and will follow her wherever she goes! (No I’m not a stalker, ok maybe, wait no!). Gina is here and she is great with color and cut. I recently changed up my cut again and she just knows what works for my face. She will also be honest and tell me what may NOT look good too. I love that about her. This facility is cute and seems to offer a lot of services I have yet to try.

Giving 5 stars to my hair dresser Melissa B. Melissa has been doing my hair for about 5 or 6 years. I wear Extensions and she does an excellent job! I have had Melissa color and highlight my hair every color of the rainbow and each time was better than the last.
The salon is super cute and a friendly environment. Trayce the owner is wonderful as well and designs and sells the coolest bullet-​crystal jewlery. (own a necklace) Plenty of products to choose from when checking out and the prices are great.

So. I’m not going to lie, I followed Morgan here from Carol Carey Couture Salon and so this review may be bias. Morgan is AMAZING! She saved my life (well my hair really, but it’s pretty much the same) about 2 years ago from a disaster I had experience with a different salon (see earlier reviews for more info) and since then, I have gone to no one else but Morgan. LOOOOOOOOOOVE HER and all her talent. I would and have recommend her to anyone. As far as the salon, it’s very cute and trendy!

I have to tell you that I love this salon. its really cute, and the people there were all really friendly. im pretty anxious when I get my hair cut and colored, and I was starting a new job… TARA who started there recently was JUST AMAZING. I told her about my issues (like my grey hair, and cowlicks, and oh ya I REALLY dont like my ears showing) and she took all this into consideration… she was very pleasant and my color is absolutely FABULOUS… I had her do it a warm brown with honey colored highlights… and even though my hair can be CONSIDERABLY stubborn my hair turned out absolutely BEAUTIFUL… Tara also did my hair for my wedding and I got SOOOO many compliments on it. I cant say enough about Tara’s ability she turned this duckling into a swan. I would HIGHLY recommend her

My stylist Tara did an amazing job on my cut and color! I told her what I wanted and she made it happen! I love the compliments I get on my hair and will definitely be back!

Trayce is the best! She is very friendly. She always offers advice on what hairstyle will look good on me but she’s very patient and never pushy. She makes me feel like a member of her family even though I only been going to her for a few years. When I used to get highlights, she always did a fantastic job to make it look natural In May, She did a Keratin Treatment on my hair. It saved me the hassle of having to straighten it everyday. It looked perfect with just a quick blow dry for almost 8 weeks! I take my daughters to her as well. They love going to see Trayce!

I have been going to the same hairdresser for over 20 years… in Marin! This was a very difficult decision for me to make. Due to my busy work schedule and my boys playing baseball I don’t have much time to go to Marin during the week much less on the weekend. A friend of a friend gave me a referral for Morgan at Holy Hair. I called the shop and the gal that answered the phone was soooooo accommodating. I made an appointment to interview Morgan… after all it’s been 20 years so I had to interview before I made the big decision. I met with Morgan and asked all sorts of questions about curls, hair, service, skills the salon etc. We talked for quite a bit and I ended up making an appointment. When I arrived for my 8:30 am appt the receptionist asked if I wanted mocha! OMG I was in heaven right here in Brentwood! Morgan cut my hair and I LOVE IT! This salon and the employees along with the ambience is SUPER FABULOUS. I will be going back to see Morgan in a few months… looking forward to the wonderful service I received from the start!

I was due for a trim, and was looking on Unilocal for hair salons with good reviews. I cant across Holy Hair, and was really impressed with all the reviews i read. I called right away on a friday to see if they had any openings available. And sure enough i was set up with Emily. She greeted me right away with a smile and asked me exactly what i wanted done. She then took me to get shampooed and conditioned. I enjoyed the washing part, because she also added a nice scalp massage to it! :-) After washing, she got started on my hair. She took atleast a good hour on trimming it up and making it look fresh again. I felt bad because i i have such long hair and i thought maybe my hair was being stubborn and thats why she was taking long, but then she told me shes a perfectionist! And that put my worries at ease!!! Thanks again emily! Your Awesome!

I was very lucky because Trayce had a cancellation and I am so happy she did. I thought the location of the salon was great (downtown Brentwood). Trayce knows how to cut hair, she is awesome. I am one of those people that need help from my styleist because I come in wanting something and then when it doesnt turn out I get mad. She told me what works with my hair type and gave me a great color! Apparently a lot of people like her because she is very popular so you may not get an appt right away. I suggest calling and scheduling for the future or getting on a cancellation list. She is awesome!!!

Great salon! :) I’m always changing salons because I’m never truly satisfied, or really that impressed. But Emily did an awesome job! Although I get my hair done frequently, I look forward to feeling pampered. :)
I’d never been to the salon so I made an appointment with the first stylist available. Emily made me feel really welcome and I enjoyed talking to her. My hair turned out just how I pictured it and I left happy! Thanks Emily!

I want to Thanks the « Unilocal» customers for Holy Hair. I normally go get my haircut the other side of the bay and was in need of getting a haircut badly, so Thank You this helped alot. I get pretty nervous of going to a new place but I figured I need to try out this place out by reading the positive comments. I had Amber cut my hair for the first time and I was really happy of my haircut. This is a definite place I will go back. Thanks Amber

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE TRAYCE!
Trayce has been doing my hair for 4 or 5 years and she always makes me feel like a rockstar. I have super fine hair and I like the more natural look so my hair takes hours. Trayce always makes me feel like she’s happy to see me and her attention to detail is amazing even though my needs are pretty high matinence. The atmosphere is warm and friendly and I truely enjoy my visits to Holy Hair. Everyone is always so sweet and accommodating it makes for such a relaxing experience. They always fit me in wherever they can since my schedule is very unpredictable. I recently moved to Dublin but I would honestly travel hundreds of miles to have Trayce give me a makover. 5 stars for fabulous service:)

Sarah’s hair coloring is unsurpassed! Her blowouts are second to none! She turns my unruly/​unsophisticated naturally curly hair into sleek perfection!

Sarah has been doing my years for about 9 years. She is great with color and always has a new look and knows the latest trend. She makes new recommendations and gives a great cut and style. The salon is very clean and stylish… a perfect relaxing experience.

I think this is the best find I have had in Brentwood yet. My coworker has really long, curly hair and it always looks great regardless of how much or how little effort she puts into it. I’m not in the market for a new hairdresser and that’s not what this review is about, but I did want to make it known that her very unruly hair goes in for maintenance here and always looks fabulous.
I am writing this review for Kim, the lady there who does pedicures. I am pretty picky when it comes to who I let touch my feet… that outbreak of fungus infections has left me a little salty towards nail shops. My cousin got it and it’s pretty damn disgusting. Anyway, my coworker has been getting pedicures from Kim for some time and it finally came up yesterday about where she gets her pedicures from. She told Kim is extremely clean and not as expensive because she offers a mini-​pedi. So I decided to make an appointment and went in this afternoon to see Kim. It was awesome! Kim is not only one of the nicest ladies i’ve ever met, but she runs hospital quality sanitation liquid through her chair for 10 minutes and sanitizes all her tools by hand before each customer. The mini-​pedi is about 30 minutes (which is plenty if you ask me) and she does everything of a normal spa pedicure minus the massage and a few extra products. It was just as nice as any other pedicure I’ve ever had, but it was quick (perfect for lunch time!!) and only costs $ 25! She didn’t even charge me extra to do a french either. I was in and out in 40 minutes as opposed to spending and hour and a half at the nail shop like the last pedicure I got at Lucy’s. Really really recommend giving Kim a try for a mini or full pedicure (which is $ 40) because she does a great job. She also took down my name, address, phone number and birthday which i think is smart so that if she moved she could keep her clients. I like when people make an experience personal and I bet she has a lot of repeat business.
The whole salon is really cute. All the girls there were super friendly and one offered me a drink when I came in. I made an appointment within 24 hours for my pedi and i wasn’t stuck waiting when I arrived. I really liked it there and highly recommend it based off of my experience!
