Lowe’s of Brevard

Been in here a couple times and always received friendly advice and help. Brought my son for one of their kids workshops and we had a blast doing it!

This place has the worst customer service ever. At 5:30 pm on the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend, there were two cash registers staffed with 6 people waiting and 6 employees idly walking around. Oblivious manager walks by line of irritated customers to tell jokes with his boys in the paint department until the kind clerk at the returns desk we were giving the stink eye to cherrfully comes over to help.
Once K-​Mart closes, they will have even more of a monopoly. Jerks.

This store is ok to buy things at but I don’t recommend their installation services. On June 2, 2015 I placed an order for one replacement window. The salesman said it would be installed in two to three weeks and because they have a two window minimum I would be charged for two installations. An installer called on July 1^st and said the soonest he could schedule it was July 16^th. I told him that was unacceptable. On July 2^nd another installer called and said he could do it July 11^th or 12^th. I told him the 11^th and I asked him to call me when he had a better idea when he would arrive. He didn’t call so at 1pm I left. The guy was also extremely unprofessional, telling me what a bad cold he had and asking me for technical information about the type of installation it was. I told him I was sorry about his cold and suggested he look at the window that’s been sitting in the store for two weeks to get the technical information he needed. Bottom line: it’s been five and a half weeks and I still don’t have the window they promised in three weeks.

This place out does any Home Depot I have ever stepped foot in.
The customer service is incredible. Employees come up to you and ask if they can help all the time. As an added bonus, they ACTUALLY know what they are talking about!
The place is huge. It has everything a hardware/​home improvement store should have. However, It does not always have the best price. There are a lot of items that you could buy for cheaper online or through Walmart.
The downside is the paint department. We have had nothing but problems with their paint. The first few batches (Olympic brand) had globs of congealed latex paint in them. There was no way to stir them out. The second batch (Valspar) completely separated if left to sit for more than five minutes. Some of the paints were off color from the sample too.
During the summer, they offer packages of bottled gatorade. Inside those packages is a $ 10.00 off your next purchase. If you use the coupon, it is like getting the Gatorade for free!
Basically, hit this store up for everything except paint!
