Had a great time candlepin bowling here on a trip home a few weeks ago. Brought back lots of great memories as a kid. As a Unilocaler before mentioned, I too am appreciative that the owners maintain this facility for generations to enjoy…

No where else like this on planet Earth. Thank you for maintaining an authentic bowling atmosphere and keeping the prices low enough for middle class Americans to have fun, regardless of the snowstorms happening outside(my how that parking lot gets full of snow). Going back 20 years, my memories of this place still make me grin from ear to ear. Strike!

I have nothing good to say about this business. I work with kids and frequently they request bowling and we end up here. The décor, carpeting, equipment, etc. is all old, extremely dirty and generally unappealing. The staff is the worst. Mechanics man will talk your ear off about personal problems and can’t take more than one simple direction at a time. Elderly man is beyond lazy, often outside/unavailable and rude to children when asked for help in the arcade. Young kid with Brewer clothing was despondent, refused to assist, said he’d alert someone we needed help and I reminded him 3 times, it took 25min to get help. The lanes are beat to the point where its hard to throw it straight. The arcade games are a cesspool of uncleanliness and are often broken/unrepaired/jammed and staff could careless. Bowling isn’t in it’s heyday so I don’t expect perfection and truly, my interactions with the horrid staff are what really get to me(along with the dirtiness). Go anywhere else, I implore you.

Candlepin bowling was something I had never heard of until I moved to Maine. Fun place, fun atmosphere. Mike in the bar is awesome and the grub is good. Steak and Cheese sandwich was yummy!
