Started with the best clam chowder I have ever had. It was incredibly decadent. My husband had the crab cake. Very little filler, pretty much all crab meat and amazing. I then had the sirloin. The mashed potatoes were hearty and carrots were crisp and delicious. Great accompaniments to a wonderful steak. Husband had the burger, cooked perfect with crispy onions and thick bacon. Service was outstanding. No complaints.

Very unpleasant experience! Paid bill with card, when bill came back authorized, I signed it leaving a tip and walked out! As soon as I left, waitress chased me outside telling me I didn’t sign slip, which 3 others at table acknowledge that I did because we discussed the tip. The waitress brought me to manager who also insisted I didn’t sign. They both«Swear to God» I didn’t sign and I didn’t even see him in the restaurant. So after a decent meal, a horrible follow up will preclude me, a local, from visiting again! Sorry Ocean Edge you need to watch your employees attitudes! Very poor PR!

I’ve had some very good pizza here, but I wasn’t expecting much for dinner — so I was very pleasantly surprised. Delicious crab cakes, almost identical to the ones at Ocean Terrace upstairs(but I did appreciate the differing styles). I had a great sirloin here, and my wife very much enjoyed her swordfish. Everything was cooked properly and seasoned well. Dessert left something to be desired, but the wine list was surprisingly affordable for a resort that is quite the opposite.

Very warm inviting pub which had a kid’s buffet set up with all sorts of kid-friendly foods. Perfect so kids don’t have to wait! Service was fast. Server knew what we wanted before we ordered! Literally! Beers were good. Had the margherita pizza which was very yummy. We’ll go back.

This pub is a wonderful place! I had just proposed to my girlfriend and wanted to meet her parents and my parents there for a drink that evening to celebrate before heading to dinner. The bar staff down there could not have been more nicer and helpful to us! They provided us with two high top tables with hors douerves and would fill up our drinks without us even realizing! The food was fantastic! Had the wings, crab cakes, salad, and other appetizers and they were all prepared very well and elegantly. Will definitely be back here the next time we’re at the Cape! HIGHLY recommended!

This is a really warm and inviting pub down in the basement of the mansion at the Ocean Edge Resort. There are several flat screens which let you catch up on the latest sports scores. The atmosphere is perfect for a pub at a nice hotel like this. It has a warm, dark and rustic look– yet it still feels clean and modern. The exposed brick and concrete go well with the cherry wood beams and bar. There is a piano in the corner that I assume is played during the main season. I can only imagine how nice that must sound down in the pub. It just feels like a place to enjoy a nice scotch or a cold craft beer. That being said, their beer selection is a bit on the thin side. I believe they had like four beers on draught. The fish and chips were delicious. Our waiter, Dorin, was very attentive during our several visits here. On our first visit, he picked up on the fact that we had just arrived at the hotel and came by to talk about some local attractions and even gave us a few pamphlets and a map that really helped us figure out what we wanted to do and see. The bar tender, Annie was also very pleasant and super nice. This level of interaction was strangely missing from many restaurants we went to while on Cape Cod. I actually enjoyed the Bayzo’s pub more than the«high-end» Ocean View Terrace restaurant at the resort. If the owners add a few more good quality draught beers on tap I would have little need to venture out of the hotel for this sort of fare. I would also suggest putting a more obvious sign down the stairwell pointing to this pub. The sign currently makes it sound like there are just restrooms down there!

My wife and I stopped in after checking on our place. It’s nice that it’s open in the off season. Being the middle of the afternoon, we at lunch at the bar before driving back off-Cape. I just had a bowl of the clam chowder and my wife had a turkey sandwich. The chowder had a thick consistency and a fair amount of clams and potatoes but served warm, not hot. The turkey sandwich was underwhelming and pretty much without taste. The best part of the meal were the steak fries. The price is no bargain. A bowl of chowder, a turkey sandwich and 2 glasses of water was $ 30. The bar is attractive with fine woodwork and some interesting nautical artifacts. Not worth a special trip.
