Courtyard Bridgeport Clarksburg

Great hotel and a convenient location near I-​79. I have stayed here multiple times and at this point I just plan my travels around being able to stop for the night at this hotel. Stayed again a few nights ago and they never disappoint. Quiet, clean, great atmosphere, comfortable beds, kind staff. I’m not sure what else you can ask for in a hotel!

This is a much nicer hotel for the money in the area. You can get a good meal but you have to pay for it. I prefer this due to more healthy options. The weight room is ok. No weight machine to do legs just free weights. The pool is small but that’s typical for hotels. Nothing bad to say about this hotel. Some hotels feel like a Walmart and you want to escape to your room. The courtyard has warm welcoming feel.

Used to be my place to stay in the area, but then I discovered Springhill Suites a few miles away, which is similar but offers a free hot breakfast.

Good hotel. Friendly staff. I’ve stayed at the hotel for business a few weeks in a row. Beds are not that comfortable, but I still give them 4 stars because of the food, friendly staff and cleanliness. Flatbreads and salads are amazing. They brew Starbucks coffee which is great in the morning.

By far one of the nicest Courtyards I’ve stayed at. New and fresh is how I can describe it. Our room was amazing. Beds were comfy. Bathroom was clean and well kept. Rooms were quiet with huge windows. We didn’t eat in the hotel so can’t comment on the food. Staff were very friendly. Pool looked awesome but we didn’t get to try it. Fitness room was very well equipped. My only complaint, even though its not really a complaint is there is only one elevator? Or at least we could only find one. When you are lugging a ton of stuff up to your room on the top floor, an elevator is a must but if its busy then you are in for a wait. All in all, was a very pleasant stay and we will be definitely marking this one for our next trip through the area.

Great room, friendly staff. I love the Paul Mitchell toiletries and the fire pit outside is nice. They have a washer dryer and pool. They have beer for sale in the lobby. Nice stay but I wish they had tubs instead of glass walk in showers. I like to take baths.

The guy Evan that gave a one star review is quite out of line.
The elevator was brand new and was no slower than other elevator I’ve used at a courtyard. This is a four floor building, we are talking a maximum transit time of 13 seconds from top to bottom. No clue what they are talking about 5 – 10 minute trip? umm just no.
As far as the bathroom floor concern, I kept mine clean so I can’t speak on whether or not it was mopped, it didn’t need mopping imo.
Fox news was the default channel, big deal? You DO sound like a whiney liberal, change the channel. And seriously what the hell does this have to do with the courtyard itself? just silly to bring this up.
As far as actively recruiting clientele, um its a business, they recruit customers, its not rocket science. There was a convention there while I stayed too but had absolutely zero impact on my stay because I didn’t have any reason to loiter around the conference rooms. I used the gym, lounge and my room… like a normal person. Again no idea what this has to do with a one star rating.
In summary, this courtyard is one of the nicest and newest I’ve ever stayed in. The beds were very comfortable, temperature control was precise. The furniture and décor were top notch for a venue of at this tier. The staff was super friendly and helpful.
Don’t be put off by a whiney lib that doesn’t know how to properly rate a business.
