I can’t think of anything particularly exceptional about this location; it’s tidy and well stocked. During my most recent trip I thought that the cashier had a bit of an attitude; not towards me, but to the people she checked out before I got to her. To her defense it seems like everyone was giving her a hard time about coupons and prices… such is retail. I am a very patient person, so long lines don’t really bother me but everyone else in line was ahuffin’ & apuffin’ and complaining. Overall there was just a negative vibe to my whole experience but it wouldn’t stop me from going back when I need some fabric.

I came here in search of tweed or something comparable to that to make some vests. I asked the lady that worked there where to find it and she points me in the direction of the mens suit fabric. You know the suity shiny kind? I don’t know what it’s called. Anyway, quite the opposite of what I was looking for so I asked her again, After I went rummaging through all the clearance fabrics and came up empty handed. She brings me to the shiny suity section again and tells me that’s what you make vests out of. I get it lady but that’s not what I’m looking for. On top of it all I showed her a picture of what I was looking for. After several minutes of her telling me what she would do and what I should do I said thanks but no thanks and went on my way to hunt for some lace and ribbon. Their ribbon/lace selection wasn’t as impressive as other Joann’s Fabric but I still found a few things. The store itself is smaller than most Joann’s. It could also use a little tidying up. I left with some cool crafting paraphernalia for $ 18 after coupons. Can’t beat that!
