Bloomingdales

The store is great. I see every name that I like here. It’s not about namebrand to me, but it’s about the brands I like. This blooming dales has one of the larger John Hardy jewelry selections I have seen. One of the associates named SirBrandon (what a name), provided great service. No pressure in selling me an item, basically explained all the details that he could, and that went a long way. Product knowledge is key, and it made my purchases that much easier, working with SirBrandon.
They even have a Kiehls right in the store.
Now the only thing I dont like about Bloomingdale’s are the prices. High end prices for high end brands.

Beware this Bloomingdales closes at 8pm on Mon-​Wed even though mall is open until 9. Really surprised to find that at an anchor store and even more so during their Friends and Family sale.

The 5 stars are only because of one employee in this store as I was constantly transferred to departments that wouldn’t pick up the phone! Then a young lady by the name of Sam (Samantha Parsler) picked up the phone. (After I had been trying to reach someone that could help me for over an hour) Sam went to a completely different department from her own to find what I was looking for. She had it expedited over night from NJ to VA. I just recieved it and it’s perfect. Goes to show the results when something is done with a little love. Thank you Sam!!! Bloomingdales is very lucky to have you!

Great store minus I cnt afford to shop here. It’s never over crowded. They have
favorite make up counters.. I don’t really need anything in here anyway. I shop more at Macy’s, Modell’s ect. Staff is great. Store is just so gorgeous and, clean. They don’t have a fitness area with Nike or Under Armour though. Was shocked. … Store IS NEVER rowdy. …sigh perfect place for a single gal to shop

I come to Bloomingdales in Bridgewater Commons Mall often to purchase my MAC products if I don’t go to Nordstoms at Menlo Mall. My experiences are usually very friendly and quick; today I cannot say the same. I went to Bloomingdales specifically to check out their Alex & Ani bracelets. The girl in the jewelry department was horrible to say the least. Unfortunately I did not get her name, but she was blonde, with wavy/​curly hair, and about 5’2″. She was so unfriendly and unhelpful. I already knew what bracelet I wanted but she did not ask to assist me in any form. When it was time to pay for my bracelet she rang me up without asking if I was a Bloomingdales member. She put my bracket in a bag without a box nor did she offer me one. I am highly disappointed in this sales associates customer service skills. Needless to say I will have to make it a point to go to Nordstorms for any other Alex & Ani purchases in the future.

This is my favorite Bloomingdales! The representatives are always thrilled to assist customers with selecting clothing and accessories. Likewise, if there is an article of clothing that you want but is not available in your size, they will literally search other stores (via the internet) and find it! I have never had to ask the associates to do this … they always just offer! (These folks genuinely care about their customers).
This Bloomingdales has all your favorite brands! Tory Burch (love the tunics!), Burberry (love the barn jackets!), DVF, Rebecca Minkoff … I mean, name it and they have it! (And there is a phenomenal handbag section!)
Moreover, they always provide crazy helpful information. For example, when I bought my newest pair of Chanel sunglasses, I had my old pair on my head (like a headband). And the associate gently told me that wearing them on my head will inevitably stretch out the bows and «Shouldn’t Chanel be forever?» So cute! And wow … who knew?
I can provide you with countless anecdotes of how this Bloomingdales has «gone the extra mile for me.» In one instance, I found this gorgeous cashmere sweater … the only one in my size. However, it had a tiny, greasy smudge on the sleeve from the rack. They literally paid for the dry-​cleaning. Awesomeness!
I prefer this particular Bloomingdales over the one in King of Prussia; therefore, if you are torn between visiting one or the other … this one’s the best!

This review is for the cosmetics counters only. I have to say I love the way the cosmetics are set up in this branch. The middle aisle is free for walking there’s no weird stand in the middle of the aisle blocking your way. It’s nice how they set up the counters in that you can visibly see the brands at each counter. Again no weird stands or shelving units blocking your view unlike in Macy’s. Here everything looks uniform, clean and chic.
Ok now on to the best part and the bulk of the reason why I’m giving this place 5 stars. So for years now I’ve been holding off buying Chanel beauty products because I know it’s pricey and they say once you go Chanel you never go back. Well this spring season has been brutal on my skin and I needed a new foundation to combat my combination skin. I went to the Chanel counter and met the most wonderful cosmetic consultant named Jenny. Seriously if any of you want a product in the Chanel counter here ask for her. She was very engaging, friendly, respectful and she wasn’t pushy with products. She applied the foundation and matched me perfectly and applied the rest of my make-​up beautifully. This woman, with 15 years of experience, got skills!!! The whole time we were also talking and I just felt like I was having a chit-​chat with an old friend. Because I loved the results so much I didn’t just end up buying foundation. I bought a cc cream, bronzer and some brushes as well. She also does complimentary make-​up by appointment for any special occasions. I actually saw some ladies there today getting their makeup done for prom and weddings.
If you want knowledgable cosmetic consultants who aren’t pushy with products and are not snobby this is the place to go.

Love shopping at the B– I mean who doesnt =D

Sales folks are the most sincere I’ve ever seen. When crunched for time, where they could’ve totally made a sale, they were honest and forthright and actually said it wasn’t necessary to buy something. Really nice and refreshing to know that sincere and genuine people like that still exist.

Ive been able to find good bargains in the sales racks. Salesperson to customer ratio is in your favor.

This one is SO MUCH better than Willowbrook!!!
