FAMILYDINNER… Fabulous food and great service… The owners daughter is sweeter than the fresh blueberries in the pancakes. Delicious breakfast. Homemade breads. Bring your own PUREMAPLESYRUP.

The address is actually 78 Portland Street. This is a really busy restaurant, so visitors must be comfortable sharing a small space with lots of other customers. I checked out a number of restaurants in the Bridgton area and none had the breakfast/lunch/brunch traffic that Morning Glory Diner served. After eating there, I understood why. The food is good(not great, to be honest ~ the grits were undercooked), the space is clean, the staff is attentive, and the television is not overwhelmingly loud. When I was there, the counter seating was full as were most of the tables. The paper placemat had a welcome and games like Tic-Tac-Toe, hangman, and that dot game that I don’t remember. It also advertised local businesses. The toy train was not running, but the track was visible throughout the space near the ceiling. It is a great little restaurant and I look forward to returning.

We now have two breakfast places near Naples that are total winners. We found Morning Glory, when our usual place, Top of the Hill was closed on President’s Day. There is always some uncertainty about how a place will react when we walk in with our two kids(both under 4). Morning Glory could not have been more welcoming. On a ledge around the top of the restaurant was a train track with an electric train. They turned the train on, and my son went wild… they were peeking out of the kitchen to see his delight. The food was excellent, especially the coffee… and the prices were very low. Overall it was a great experience… highly recommended.
