If you could leave negative stars — this would be a top candidate! I arrived day one at 12:10 with a sign on the door saying the staff would return at noon. After going home and reserving a unit online I received a call from a manager. She explained that they would be there all morning the next day, but that they leave at noon for lunch. I packed up two cars with storage unit things and arrived just after 10 am. There was a man dutifully plowing the parking lot, but again the sign said that the staff would return at noon. At 10:45 I started trying to contact the main office. After a few go-rounds on the main menu, I finally got ahold of a very nice woman who couldn’t apologize enough. She had some issues trying to reach the emergency contact, but promised to call back. While waiting for her call, a CubeSmart employee arrived in full makeup and jewels(at a storage unit!), carrying her Dunkin Donuts. She parked, unlocked the door, and took her place at the desk with not so much as a glance at the two cars waiting in the parking area. No apology. No nothing. After she pulled up my info, she muttered that she’d have to change the original storage unit I was scheduled to rent because it was full of water. Needless to say, I didn’t feel an ounce of guilt leaving without renting. After I left, I did finally receive a call from the very nice woman who told me the emergency contact would be there by noon. I informed her that I wasn’t comfortable doing business here and she did nothing more than say, «ok, sorry.» No attempt to retain a customer whatsoever. I would advise to stay away — and if you can’t — at least plan a few hours to sit in the parking lot and wait for the staff to finish getting ready.
