Studio Brew

getting lit baby. this place is dope. we never had anything like this in grundy. beers can seem snotty at times but overall good time. i usually just like my budweiser but jack helped me out quite a bit and told me about some good brews. damn son damn.

Went there for a night out with my husband. I love how they encourage to match food with the fabulous craft beer they serve. this place is unique and worth trying
Erich and his staff are top notch.

Great Food. The Spent Duck & Black Angus Filet bites melt in your mouth. The beer is very rich with flavor. Alman was the best server. He’s very knowledgable and had great suggestions.
Over 15 beers on tab. Defiantly a place to visit.

Not sure exactly where to start … so will start at the beginning. Greeted into a well refitted warehouse space with really great old school lighting.
Sit down at the bar and ask for Ian. Ian is the man. He knows and loves the beers here and his beer love is contagious. Studio has a pretty extensive offering of 16 taps. And in what is a first for me of three flights of 5 there were only about 3 or 4 that I didn’t care for. And even those I could say we’re good but just not my taste.
Had a couple apps to get some solids in with the beer. No real standouts there.
Come for the beer. Stay for the new friends you make.

This evening we made our first visit to Studio Brew and were very pleased with the results. We started with the Austrian Lager for me and the Dr. Loosen Riesling for Doris. We had the charcuterie tray a and the popcorn. The corn is very good but the charcuterie is outstanding. I tried a flight of beer and we had the duck. The duck is unbelievably good. As good as I’ve had anywhere in the US or Europe. Then we had their version of pretzels and beer cheese dip. We will return and take friends with us. Our server was Zach Kennedy who was most helpful and and efficient. Right now this is our favorite downtown spot.

This is the most innovative menu in the area, perhaps ever. The first thing you notice is that each item is prepared fresh, but what makes Studio stand out over so many others is the taste exceeds the presentation. My first visit was for the purpose of trying the beer, little did I know they would have the quality of food that is offered. The owners planned every detail of this place, the beer, wine, food pairings, and intriguing décor. So many strive and fall flat on their face to achieve what they have at Studio. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is they still have some work to do with service, but when you consider they are most likely training every front of the house staff they have from the ground up in a area so deplete of the quality they offer in every other category I know given time they will get there.

I enjoyed my visit to Studio Brew, Friendly folks here, Appetizers was good, beer was great. Atmosphere is awesome. My favoriet brewery in the area.

Being a very avid traveler I find it hard rating establishments at times since I go to many places and have enjoyed many great meals.
Studio Brew is a cut above and falls in my top 5 best places I’ve eaten.
They do beer and food perfectly. The ambience is very chill and not rushed at all. I feel like I am allowed to relax. Many places it’s a rush of service to seat the next customer.
I ordered the Dunk-​zels as my app. It was just the right portion for me. My main was an amazingly tasty Mojo Mahi. All of this was perfection and I wiped the plate clean. I enjoyed a flight of beer and went with the first 5. Every brew was a solid representative of its type. I ordered dessert because «why not?». The Pam’s Poppers were a solid send off for the meal.
This is a solid establishment for Bristol and the USA. Make to the stop in and help them keep their lights on!

Come for the beer, stay for the food. This place is fantastic! The ambiance is distinctively refined compared to other breweries but they offer the same wide selection of brews to fit any preference. The food is just as tasty with the chef serving up tapas and entrees that are delightful.

WOW. I have tried several breweries in the area and this one is a step above. What a great selection of awesome beer. So many options from Pilsner to Belgian to IPA. A one stop tasting delight. While I enjoyed each one, my favorite was the Terese Belgian. Great local twist while staying true to a Belgian Tripel.
If the beer weren’t enough, the people are awesome too. From the moment we walked in, Studio Brew had a positive feel. Very welcoming and inviting, no snob factor. Erich said hello and let us know someone would be over to help us. Tracy came over with the menu and a bottle of water. (Nice touch.)
Mentioned that I wanted to do a flight and generally the style of beer I prefer. Tracy gave excellent recommendations and she nailed it. Quite a diverse selection, each with their own special flavor.
We also ordered the Dunkzels. (Great homemade pretzel sticks with beer cheese dipping sauce) They were tender with just the right amount of chew. I look forward to trying the flatbread made with the same dough.
What night would be complete without dessert? Ordered the Keylime Poppers. Just the right amount of tart to go with the Mosiac Sunset IPA as recommended by Pam. Yummy goodness.
Later learned that Erich and Pam are the owners. It is easy to see why this place is gaining popularity with such good involvement and hands on customer interaction from the top.
Last but not least, the employees are Cicerone Certified. That means the employees aren’t «passing time», they are truly involved in learning the craft of beer to better help each customer.

Studio Brew not only has «out of the box» great brews, they have an interesting and tasty menu. Some say its a bit pricey, you get what you pay for. For a unique experience in an area that is not used to unique, try this one and you will not be sorry.

I rarely write reviews but this place deserves one! Being a travel nurse I taste a lot of beer and food along the way. The beer was amazing and the food just as good for a brewery. I would have given five stars had they had a little more detail on the beer. A smoked porter with chilies? Never would have guessed had I not asked. Make me fall in love with the beer first and pick out all the undertones of it. Amazing place, one of the best I have been!

This is a nice place to grab a beer and a light meal. They serve a nice variety of craft beers. I had a porter and witbier. Both were very good. The main bar and restaurant area was full so the hostess asked if we would mind sitting upstairs. It is a nice area for a band, a party or a meeting but isn’t quite set up for dining. We sat on folding chairs, flimsy tables, and the thermostat read 64 F. It was chilly. The food was nice. They forgot one item on our order so a waitress brought by a nice cheese plate to tide us over. If you want beer and a light meal or snacks, this is a good place to go. Just make sure any non-​beer drinkers in your party don’t expect to order a glass of wine or a mixed drink. I asked about the studio (upstairs area) as a meeting space. The owner came by and listed out some options. I might give it a try.

This place just opened November 30^th and was a great surprise for me visiting from out of town on December 27^th. I am extremely excited about the future for these owners and this brewery /​restaurant. The beers were excellent. I had a flight of 5 and found them all to be high quality. I also enjoyed my food order, tasty softshell beef filet tacos with a side of roasted vegetables.
