I have gone here several times as well as family members. I am always mad when I leave as service here is very poor. I have given this place several tries as I thought it was a fluke, but no!!! everytime I go the service is horrible. Too many phở places in the area to go back. VIETFLAVORYOULOSTMYBUSINESS

The Garden rolls were fresh and the peanut sauce was good. Phở was also well made with fresh ingredients. Had a seafood hot pot that was kind of bland until I added some fish sauce, peanut sauce and the moo shi sauce that was in a bottle at the table. The calamari was really good, different than I have ever had before. Crunchy with an interesting breading! The Vietnamese coffee was really good too. The beef with vermicelli was done well. Not super salty but also not bland. The staff was very attentive and friendly. Will definitely back for more!

I was finally able to stop by and give this place a try. The place looked clean and spacious. Utensils looked clean and shiny. I was able to catch the lunch special, which was a bowl of phở, spring roll or garden roll and a soda for $ 10. I got the phở tai which was just the plain steak meat, I did not smell or tasted the aroma of phở. The soup was not as hot and the phở noodle was chewy, but that’s personal preference. I could have let it sit there and the noodles would have expanded. But the soup wasn’t hot enough to do that. Spring roll was good and crispy but they didn’t give out any lettuce to wrap the spring roll. Guess I’m asking for too much, but a spring roll on a plain plate doesn’t look appetizing, but it is the lunch special. The soda that they brought out was from a soda fountain, no flavor or carbon left. The soda was flat, blah… I was hoping that they were serving sodas out of a can, so keep that in mind. I also ordered their fried wings for my appetizer, only a few pieces were crispy, the rest were soggy and I hate soggy wings. The sauce was drizzled with nuoc mam which is fish sauce, which tasted pretty good but not with soggy wings. Over all I think it’s alright, the fact that they are the second viet restaurant around the area, they will be alright. If you want phở just go down the street where Red robin is located and there is a phở restaurant there that makes it better. I will definitely come back for their rice dishes.

Hungover. Not in the mood for loud crowds or even getting out of my sweatpants and tshirt. Picked up some chicken phở to go and it was perfect. Packaged perfectly for me to assemble at home. Everything was just great. Can’t wait to go back to try some other stuff.

I love to try phở all over the region looking for authentic and flavorful options. We were so excited to have a local restaurant open in Bristow. Walking in, the décor is very modern. You are met right away with a smile from the staff. The menu can be a bit overwhelming if you are not familiar with Vietnamese fairer or if this is your first visit. I ordered the standard crispy rolls, garden rolls, the crispy pork and shrimp wontons as appetizers. May I say that they were amazing!!! So amazing we requested a second second order of the wontons! Not greasy at all, but crispy, fresh and full of flavor. There is a large variety of cuts of meat to choose from for the phở, but I always choose brisket(P10). The basil, bean sprouts and lime were fresh. The phở was flavorful and the portion size was perfect for me to share with my daughter. The total price for everything was about $ 32. This will be my local go to place on the future and I highly recommend it for those who love a great bowl of phở for a great price.

Viet flavor has probably the best phở I’ve ever had! The broth was delicious, the basil and the green onions gave it such a nice smell and taste, highly recommend this place!

We just walked out. The waitress was not pleasant. We ended up just getting up and walking out due to waiting for at least our drink order to be taken. The waitress looked us on our way out and did not say a word. Absolutely unacceptable.

One of the best restaurants in town. Excellent service and a very mellow, relaxing atmosphere. Their Phở Chay is out of this world. I recently became a vegetarian and had the same meal at their competitor down the road… essentially, what I received there was vegetables and noodles in hot water… no vegetable broth or anything to speak of, a flavorless mess. Viet Flavor on the other hand had delicious and tasty broth that you could tell was made with pride and care. The only reason for 4* is Bristow Beat has posted several articles about health code violations here, which kind of makes me wary.

First, I REALLY liked the garden rolls. Other places add carrots or mint or other oddities, but the basic shrimp-pork-noodle-greenery tried and true recipe here was really tasty. My dinner buddy got the crispy spring rolls and enjoyed them a lot. I liked the quality of the chicken in the phở ga, however the broth is quite bland. This is nothing a bullion cube or some sauce add-ins wont fix, but if you want the soup as it is, its a little disappointing. I’d still return but know that I need to add some taste to the broth. Perhaps I will try a different item next time before ruling out whether I really love or really just like this spot.

For someone who was going to Phở Sapa, which is still good, Viet Flavor is better. The atmosphere is very clean, relaxing, and quiet. Service was very fast and the menu itself is huge! Just got th usual P10, but the Phở portions were huge! My only suggestion is that the broth was not as sweet as I am used to but the amount of basil given made up for it. We will definitely be back!

Was in the area so decided to stop by to check them out since they are one of few Asian restaurants in the area. Came in at 8:30 p.m.(They close at 9:30 p.m.), so I had to the whole place to myself. Talk about VIP treatment. From the appetizer menu, I tried the fried chicken wings with fish sauce(Ga Chien Nuoc Mam) because it sounded interesting. I mean, fried chicken wings is good, but with added Nuoc mam? Get outta hea! I am down! I am Vietnamese and have never heard of such a thing so decided to give it a try and will say it is the most amazing fried chicken I’ve ever had. Better than Bön Chon in my opinion, and you don’t have to wait hours for it. The other dish I got was the Com Dac Biet(Special Rice Dish) with egg, pork, rice, Chinese sausage, etc… It was on point and is 100% authentic Vietnamese. They have actual Vietnamese chefs in the back, not other places that try to cut corners for more profit, if you know what I mean. The service was great. The server was friendly and attentive. He would come by often to check up and make sure everything was ok.

Many reasons to like Viet Flavor. The menu is exceptionally diverse. They have some especially good appetizers. They also have some really good salad selections. Nice selection of Phở. Service dining in is very fast and even more so for take out. A really nice dining room, very roomy and clean. Had the chicken phở, excellent The Papaya Salad is fresh, delicious and flavorful.

This is a great location for Phở! I had my favorite, Phở Ga, but I got it to go because I wasn’t hungry at the time. Even eating it at home later, it was great. My husband and his friend both had theirs at the restaurant and thy really enjoyed it. We finished with Vietnamese coffee, which is AMAZING if you’ve never had it. It’s SO different, but SO good. Definitely get that while you’re there!

What Phở place charges extra for lime. Viet Flavor. I thought that Lime was considered standard in the Phở aromatics because I’ve never been to a place that charges extra. not just 25 cents extra but a whole dollar extra for lime! Besides that, the place was pretty nice. the waiters were courteous and always within range to grab their attention when needed. Prompt at removing empty plates. restaurant clean and crisp. Overall I will try this place again. Its pretty sad that they would charge extras for items in such a way you can tell its obvious gouges at the consumer, but overall their décor attitude of employees and food was pleasant enough that I would deal with the overpriced menu to taste the other food choices they have,

Finally Viet Flavo is open! First off, I love how they have good selection of vegetarian options. I got to try their vegetarian phở($ 7.95) & the egg noodle soup w/wonton & roast pork($ 8.95). Both were amazing! In the veggie phở was a lot of fresh veggies like bell pepper, culliflower, & carrots. My fave of the two so far is the egg noodle soup. The broth had a real nice flavor & the noodles were perfect. I am excited to try more off their menu. The service is excellent too. There seemed to be a lot of employees ready to help you. They were very polite offering me water when I took my order to go. When I aske for extra hoison sauce for my phở they gave me plenty without any attitude. So all in all. I love Viet Flavor. I love their soup selection the most! I just hope they don’t end up like wing it, great in the beginning then spiral down to failure.

Viet Flavor is a new Vietnamese Restaurant, located in the Bristow Center retail complex — at the intersection of Route 28 and Linton Hall Road, Bristow, VA. It opened two days ago according to the restaurant staff. The interior of the dining area is very clean, minimalist, and modern. There is a large flat panel HDTV mounted on the back wall. The dining area consists of a combination of booths and stand alone tables. I arrived today around 3:00 pm for a late lunch. Looking over the menu, I chose the Goi Cuon — but asked them to omit the pork, and a regular size bowl of Phở Ga — white meat only(the menu lists both dark and white meat options), plus a glass of water with lime. The Goi Cuon(fresh garden rolls) came out first — with two sides — one with the peanut sauce and the second with chopped peanuts. I dumped the peanuts into the peanut sauce, squirted a generous dose of Sriracha sauce into the peanut sauce and stirred it in. The rolls were fresh and delicious — and the peanut sauce was the right thickness and consistency and had good savory flavor. The Phở Ga came out right as I was finishing the rolls. The plate of aromatics/veggies were all very fresh: Thai Basil, Jalapeños, Lime, and Bean Sprouts. I tasted the broth before adding — the broth had a nice flavor — it was indeed a chicken broth and not a beef broth as some places try to get away with. I added all of them and tasted the broth — very good! The rice noodles were cooked perfectly — not clumped together but also not over done. The chicken was tender and delicious — there were noticeable hints of Cilantro in the broth, some folks might not like this but it does not bother me. The chicken broth had a nice depth of flavor and complexity — the odor of the broth alone was aromatic and enticing! I added periodic doses of Sriracha sauce to bites as I mowed through that bowl of Phở Ga goodness — and then a good shot or two directly into the broth before drinking it down! I destroyed that bowl all the way down to the last drop. Service was very good, the wait staff checked on me several times to see if I needed a water glass refill, how things were, and did I want dessert? I was to full for dessert of course… My bill was under $ 10.00 — they may have been deducting an opening weekend discount off the bill, I was not paying close attention. I tipped in excess of 20%. I like Viet Flavor and will be back again for more Phở Ga — and who knows what else?! Check this place out! The people working here were very nice! I hope they do well!
