This is the only reason to go to Brockton. I have been eating Gowells chocolate for over 30 years and now ship it to friends all over the US. Everyone says it’s better than Godiva. Sees or any other top brand out there. Just don’t go on a Sunday or in July because they are closed.

I stopped in to buy some candy here as gifts over the Holidays, I didnt have any left over to enjoy myself. Everyone I gave it to thanked me so much and raved about it so I had to go back and get some for myself.
Both times it was very nice experience shopping there.
The chocolates were much better than anything else I’ve had in the recent past.
I have to go back here more often.

Got a living social here so it was ½ price. $ 23 gets you 1 lb or 30+ pieces of nice candy. Most is made in house and everyone was very friendly.

This place is such a gem. Hilliard’s doesn’t hold a candle to Gowells. Only qualm, nothing is peanut free. Story of my life. Heartbroken 4 year old left empty handed. Even the gummy bears are tainted. Sigh. Honestly the best turtles and toffee ever. Parking sucks during the holidays since it gets packed and there is only a small lot behind the building. It’s not in the nicest location but it’s on a main road and I personally have never been mugged or shot here.

I am a new fan. I discovered Gowell’s after buying a Groupon a few months back. Although it may be a bit off the beaten track, I thought I would give it a shot. Well, was I ever pleased! The chocolate is melt in your mouth wonderful. Mmmmm! The prices are reasonable and the staff are very helpful and friendly. Well worth the trip.

The most unbelievable chocolate. Likely the only way you have heard of Gowell’s if you grew up locally, know someone that did or receive their chocolate as a gift. Easily one of the best chocolates anywhere.

I grew up eating Gowells candy. Gowells is an important family element during the holidays. I’ve tried a bunch of different chocolate from candy shops, and nothing has ever compared to Gowells. The shop is small, but the selection is great. The service is also great. My favorite is the chocolate hearts wrapped in shiny red wrapping that come out only around Valentines day. Try Gowells you will not be disappointed!

I used to buy at Gowell’s years ago then lost touch. The other night I attended a conference and Gowell’s had a booth. I bought a couple boxes of variety chocolates. They were excellent. I’ll be going out of my way to buy more.
