Get your postgame dance on I am sure that there is more to Billy’s but I only go there after the Yanks win or lose. This place reminds me of my college clubbing days but without a stupid cover. You know the typical: 1. Loud top 40 music 2. Drunken nuts screaming 3. Overpriced and half-ass prepared drinks. 4. Sticky floors And what do all of those things equal!!! PUREFUN!!!

This spot is perfect for a quick fix and a brew. The wings were finger licking good lol I don’t know if my boyfriend and I were just super hungry, or the wings were just that good. Let me just say this seasoned well, crispy and actual hot sauce(total thumbs up!) the place was pretty empty so obviously not a game day. But I would definitely go back and try other things on the menu because between the fried zucchini fries and wings! Blown away haha thanks Diana!

Home of the $ 1.91 cent wing! Prices are out of this world and the service stinks. You’re lucky if you get in… Actually maybe you’re lucky if you get denied entry.

Thanks for the reply, George. I tried calling but your mailbox is full, so I called the number listed on Unilocal but it was forwarded to the same voicemail so I was not able to get in touch with you. The first man at the door said that because I was pregnant, I was not allowed in because«if you slip and fall, is it our fault, or your fault, you know?»…I thought perhaps I had incorrectly assumed that you served food and wondered if he thought I was going to try to order alcohol.(Not that it would have been any of his business, but that’s a separate discussion.) We were in search of lunch and so I asked«oh, do you not serve food here?» And he said, «we do, but we really can’t let you while you’re pregnant.» At this point, the other man at the door, came over and said«sorry, he’s not saying it right… we can get in trouble if you get hurt.» My husband, father in law, and I were baffled. We walked around the corner and had lunch at another bar. It sounds like there might be a misalignment here between the actual policy and how it’s being interpreted by your staff; probably worth following up with the two guys at the door. Thanks again for your reply.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. From what I thought to be a decent place after having first come here, the second time around it didn’t live up to its expectation. It has been almost a week since I have been overcharged and a manager was nowhere to be found. Not even an email could be provided to discuss the matter. Long story short the server«Melodia» overcharged me. What was suppose to be a check of roughly 45 dollars ended up being 130. Keeping in mind I have the receipt but yet they still are giving me the run around. Fishy much? Then come to find out they can’t find the check number! I’m assuming they feel as if people who aren’t from the neighborhood wouldn’t notice this or would let this slide but nope not I. I tip well and I am a courteous customer. The tone of the employees is horrible and I don’t appreciate speaking with people who have little to no knowledge for what they’re doing. The person I spoke to who refused to disclose their name even asked me for guidance! I asked if he was a manager and he said«something like that». From previous restaurant experience the proper protocol is to ask for the customers information, the date they dined, last four digits of cc if that was the form of payment and name and phone number to be contacted. They did neither. Considering it was a busy night there is still no excuse. I’m completely furious with this establishment. Now I remember why I don’t support certain Bronx establishments. Billy’s, DOBETTER! A piece of advice to the owner or general manager… you might want to hire new employees.

We came here to wait for the lines at Yankee Stadium to simmer down. Drinks were great, and we were able to watch the first inning of the game on the many tv’s around the bars. The place is huge. Tons of little lounge areas and sofas to sit on. It emptied out pretty fast though when the game started and there really wasn’t anyone in there anymore, which was great when ordering drinks.

Food looked good, Service was good, however panini gave me instant stomach rejection. Menu looks like Cheesecake Factory(100+ items). Close to Yankee Stadium but that’s about it.

Popped in before an NYCFC match. Was quickly met by bartender Chris, who was friendly and quick, even though they were busy. We had a couple and then he told us about the back area. We went to check it out and there was a club with an outdoor area(never been). Not usually my kind of place but it looked pretty cool! We went back to the front bar and had a couple more and talked to Chris for a bit and then we were on our way. Nice work, good service, Chris did a great job!

i’ve been going here for years, I always pre-game here before a Yankees game. This place is huge! The closer it got to game time, the more crowded it became but there is still plenty of space to move around. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. The drinks are pretty good and they also serve food. can’t wait to go next time.

Rooftop bar and massive sports complex inside with a ton of TVs tuned to every game, this is a NY sports bar, nothing on tap and nothing to eat, just bottles & hard drinks. Get ready for a $ 9 basic beer, but hey its NYC and that’s a LOT cheaper than the beers at the stadium, plus you get to overlook, well not much but you’re outside.

I can’t really be mad that I didn’t love this place. Unilocal warned me. It isn’t a terrible place by any means, it just isn’t MY kind of place to party. My issues were two fold. One, the drinks were crazy expensive. I got a better deal in Yankee Stadium, that alone made me weep into my $ 14TINY pour Whiskey and Coke. Three drunk people bumped into me within 20 feet of the bar, so I think I lost about $ 5 worth of «booze» by the time I met up with my group. Secondly, I hate that they regulated who gets to go up to the second floor. One minute they roped the stairs so we couldn’t get in, then 1 minute later they let a flood of people go upstairs. We eventually made it upstairs and proceeded to witness the next wave of people getting nixed entry upstairs… yet there was PLENTY of room around us. I weeped for the outsiders into my now empty tiny whisky and coke. On the plus side, If you like music to dance to and top hits, then the DJ is your man. I didn’t dislike the music at all, it was lively and got people pumped up… maybe too pumped for some Yo Bro Drunk Yankee Fans.

Scored some great tickets to see the Yankees take on the Orioles. The Yankees won that game by the way but ended up losing the next game so 1 – 1. Group of my friends were killing time waiting for the game to start. Walked around and stumbled upon this spot which looks small from the outside. Once we walk in, this spot is HUGE! The spot was packed but because of the size, we weren’t directly on other people. We ended up grabbing a cocktail from the bar which were done well and priced well. We decided to sit down for a quick bite to save money before going into the stadium. We ordered chicken fingers and a Philly which were well prepared & delicious. Our waitress was very attentive although the place was busy so very impressed as restaurants always use this as an excuse for poor service. Overall, really chill place and will definitely go back again.

In terms of a nice place to go, pre or post Yankee/NYC FC games, this is a huge venue with plenty of space. Didn’t come for the post game, but I can imagine it’s a lot of fun. Because of the potential fun I see stemming from this place, I gave it a 3, but our actual experience was underwhelming. Let me back up. We definitely had a good time, but our group can have a good time anywhere. From the actual establishment, I was hoping for more. As for the pre game, we ate beforehand and had a beer. The service was pretty horrendous, but she was new, so I’m giving her a break. My friend ordered a Red Bull and Vodka and received some sort of Vodka concoction. It may have been Vodka and Club. I don’t know, but it was strong, and not in a good way. Then, our food came out. I had the Billy’s wrap, and it was fine. Average. The Super Burger looked more like a regular burger. that is until the bacon that was supposed to be on the burger randomly came out on a plate 5 minutes later. Not too sure what that miscommunication was about. On a positive note, service was quick, and we had no difficulties being sat right away. Want to try it out more for it’s entertainment next time. I’m giving this place the benefit of the doubt with a 3 and hoping it was an off night with the service; however, if the experience is similar next time, my rating will drop.

This was our pre-game before the Yankees vs Red Socks game last night. This place is huge! The closer it got to game time, the more crowded it became but there was still plenty of space. The drinks were pretty good and the also serve food. We didn’t try anything off the menu but we all agreed we would next time.

I love the location of this place but it does not hold a candle to Stan’s in terms of atmosphere. When I walked in, it smelled like it had just been doused from ceiling to floor in cleaning agents. The service was really bad, but in a way that made me feel awful for our waitress. You can’t just throw someone with that little of a grasp of the language right out on the floor like that. The poor lady had to go and grab someone else every time I spoke with her. On a brighter note: the food was actually pretty good and really quick out of the kitchen.

Barely serviceable sports bar /discothèque near Yankee stadium. My observations: I had a draft beer and the tap lines were either moldy or just really dirty. The bartender was nice about it and gave me something else for no extra charge, but I’m pretty sure he didn’t smell/taste the beer to confirm whether there was a real problem with the tap. Not the worst bathroom ever, but the worst use of space in a bathroom ever. Hard to explain, but just expect to hit someone standing at the sink and/or the bathroom attendant when you open the door. The«main area» of the bar is loud, crowded, and full of flashing lights before and after a game. The back area has lots of standing room, normal lighting, and TVs if you want to hang somewhere a little more tame. Overall, about what you’d expect from a place like this. I would never go here if it weren’t so close to Yankee stadium, but for lack of alternatives I’ll probably be back.

We needed a place to chill before the game & decided to stop by this place. The bar itself doesn’t look like much in the sense of space wise simply because when u come in u have a nice open area up front with some seating, now unless u come in through the back or take a walk back u would not know this place is pretty big … Crazy big open space in the back, some seating, open area my guess for dancing plus a bar not bad. Once seated for drinks I went with a Yuengling beer, good beer nice & cold. My friend went with Blue Moon, good as well but then tried the Coco Loco? Not sure if that’s the exact name this was ok. We were a little hungry so decide to try the bone less wings, Honey BBQ flavor these were pretty good nice taste & crunchy too the wings came with fries, the fries were great, nice & crispy. Nice place to hang out before the game, prices are ok a bit high for the type of food, good service we enjoyed our time before the game.

We checked this place out prior to a Saturday Yankees game. It had a lot of promise with a large area to sit and drink and a decent amount of space to sit down for a meal. We should have known to walk out when it took 40 minutes to get our beers(during which time we went to the bar twice to supplement our growing thirst.) The straw that broke the sober camel’s back was when we were informed 45 minutes after placing our order that one guest’s dish was sold out. Really? It takes upwards of 45 minutes to realize that you ran out of LETTUCE for a salad?! Which I also find funny considering that the turkey sandwich I ordered with cheese, tomato and lettuce only came with lettuce. And nothing says«thank you for you patience» like spilling a beer all over someone and not bringing him a fresh one! One manager came over to speak to us but he did nothing to move the process along. A second manager came over to ask how our meal was, but I didn’t know what else to say other than this warm beer is totally worth $ 7 and my imaginary sandwich is out of this world. Nothing was comped on our bill despite the fact that they kept 10 people waiting for their meals and sent them to the baseball game practically sober. There’s probably someone selling hot dogs on the corner who could have given us a better meal.
