Great variety, everything we ordered was yummy but as mentioned elsewhere the buffalo chicken is a must have. Prices fair and staff friendly despite the fact we were clearly just passing through and not regulars.

So I am from MD I have been working in the Bronx for a few months now. I have tried a couple spots in the area and hands down Dino’s is the best I am addicted to the thin crust pepperoni. The bread is perfect just the right amount of crispy hint of garlic the cheese perfect pepperoni. I will be bringing some down south this weekend I guarantee it !

I love Dinos!!! Great prices for the quality and super quick delivery. The chicken Saltimboca is my favorite. They give you a good amount of bread and a salad too with the entrée. Overall great value!

Some of the best pizza I’ve had in the Bronx. For a slice place, I think Dino’s has the best selection I’ve ever seen. I wish I had a picture of their array of slices to prove it. I’d say that any one time, they have about 15 varieties of slices to choose from, ranging anywhere from pepperoni to sesame chicken. The best part is that none of their slices feel«forced», i.e. it doesn’t feel like they’re making any of their varieties just for the sake of making them. Everything, even the sesame chicken slices, feels purposeful. Aside from their variety, it’s clear that they have the fundamentals down cold. Their crust is one of the best that I’ve had from a slice place. The prices are great too. I’ve been many times and I can’t remember spending more than $ 10.

There are a few pizza options around the neighborhood but ever since I discovered this spot, this is where we go(even if it’s freezing and snowing, we will trek here instead of going to the spot across the street). I’ve since stopped eating gluten(and boy do I miss this pizza!) but my step daughters beg to go here when they come to visit me. One kid is in Oregon in college and all she talks about is the ziti slice(thanks to me for introducing it to her since that’s my favorite slice!) and how she can’t wait when she’s back in NY to have it. My kids are extreme pizza snobs so when they find a spot they love, that’s all they’ll eat.

The best! I’m 100% Italian and have eaten a ton of pizza. In terms of plain cheese pies I’ve probably had better. But, no where I have had better pizza with toppings. Huge selection like buffalo chicken, veal parm, ricotta, teriyaki chicken, etc. and it’s loaded ! Highly recommend!

My favorite pizza in Riverdale, Bronx. When I used to live in Brooklyn, I had plenty pizza options. Once I got to Bronx, I was very sceptical to try out a slice but soon I was very surprised. Bronx had huge Italian history and clearly they kept their traditions and influences in many restaurants and pizza places. Dino place looks like typical pizza joint; small, family oriented and neat. I really like their service, it’s fast and welcoming. They have plenty of seats to accommodate 10 – 15 people, and they also have a TV. Lol. Now, let’s touch base on the goodies. They serve really good pizza, from plain cheese to numerous toppings with meat and vegetable. Size wise, it is a gooood slice. Take two, you wouldn’t regret! They also serve traditional Italian entrees, pastas, heros and calzones for a reasonable price. You don’t really have to go to Manhattan for Italian food. You can order from them, guess what… they deliver :)

Really good food. The Bella pie(salad) and grandmas pie are my favorite items. The girl on the phone is always rude unfortunately…

This is one of the best pizzerias I have visited in sometime. I saw the many favorable reviews and decided to give Dino’s a try for my Scrapbook Party. I saw their display of many awesome pizza choices but decided to go with a regular pizza order, to see what Dino’s was made of. They are surely made of some GOOD things !!! My friends and I loved the taste of the pizza sauce, the amazing gooey cheese and the crispy crust. The sauce is one of the most important parts of a pizza to me and Dino’s was on point with their sauce. It had character and great seasoning, and tasted fresh. I went out of my way to get this pizza and if I had another party or just a pizza night, I would do it again. The price point was fair. $ 15 for both pizzas, a large pepperoni pizza and a large extra cheese pizza. I would love to go back for the recommendations given to me by Daffy, the young woman who helped me at the register. She mentioned the Bella pizza as one of their hits and a chicken bacon ranch Option as well. I look forward to trying these. This pizzeria accepts card for payment and they have other options to choose from their extensive menu, like pastas, salads and more. They also have beverages. This place seems like a local spot where family’s come to sit down and enjoy a meal and whatever may be playing on the large flashy screen tv perched above the register. I can’t say that the many staff members were overall welcoming, however I saw that they would greet, I’m guessing regular customers, when they came in. I was treated professionally and courteously by Daffy, and I appreciated that. So, no big points on congeniality however major points on the pizza purchased. There was only one slice remaining afterwards, and I ate that one for breakfast, lol! I highly recommend this place if you are stuck in the Boogie Down, and looking to have some great pizza.

So I’m in the Chicago area right now– don’t even get me started on how Chicago style is inferior to NYC. But whenever I eat pizza here, I always think to myself: «Damn, I wish I was eating NYC style pizza right now.» And specifically, I’m thinking Dino’s. Honestly, I’ve been going to DIno’s since the 90s. It’s undergone one or maybe two management changes since I’ve been going there but it’s really only gotten better. Best chicken parm sandwich in the Bronx(yeah, I said it). And the toppings variations are really unique and delicious. Classic pepperoni and sausage, sure. But chicken cutlet and/or chicken marsala? Amaze-balls.

I was working in the area and stumbled on this place. The selection of pizzas was Terrific. I had a buffalo slice. The slice had plenty of chicken maybe even a little too much but I won’t complain. It Could have been a little spicier. Definitely a good spot for a quick bite.

Bronx doesn’t usually have good pizza, yeah I said it you Bronx Bombers, YOURPIZZASSUCK. If you think otherwise you need to visit Brooklyn more often(and this comes from a Bronx transplant). But this place, wow. They definitely know what they’re doing. I am very picky about pizza, they have to have all three to get a five star rating. Crust, cheese, sauce. All equally important. And you must be able to eat the pizza without having to add anything to it. That’s what makes a well seasoned pizza and these guys got it. If I had to live in the Bronx again, it would have to be near these guys, just so I can get a great slice when I’m in the area. Great service, great pizza… not papa johns lol.

Isn’t the greatest; you can do better. I’ve lived in the area for a while, and I’ve been to a lot of community events where this stuff is served. I’ve also gotten it for myself a few times, though I’ve never had occasion to be in the restaurant itself. The delivery is fast, really fast, but the pizza’s nothing to sniff at. It’s fine– it’s perfectly edible, but that’s about all you can say on its behalf. The salads are… on the other hand… pathetic. It’s a couple fronds of lettuce and a few cherry tomatoes in a box. Don’t order the salad. Don’t do it. It’s sort of pizza fast food, if that’s what you’re into. Lmao.

I used to order here all the time but ever since Joe left(the original owner), it has fallen off big time. My wife and I ordered a chicken parm hero and a Philly cheesesteak hero and both had hardly any meat on them. Good thing the bread wad good because that was the meal. Also, every time we order, they forget something or give us the wrong thing. The pizza is actually pretty good but it’s a crap shot whether they will get your order right. Good luck.

Best pizza in Riverdale, hands down! Bella pizza is amazing & so is the buffalo chicken salad. Just like the other Unilocalers mentioned, the delivery is super fast — we have ordered a few pies during winter storms and they still make it out in 30 mins or less(we live on 261)

This place didn’t disappoint. The look is authentic as is the taste. It’s what you come to expect of a good NY slice.
