El Dorado Cafe

Pleasantly surprised! It was my first time and I didn’t want to travel to my usual spot on Fordham to save time. I was skeptical being the location but once I entered the restaurant it was clean and smelled of delicious food. Although they were getting ready to close, the customer service was great and the price was very reasonable. I ordered a salad which was made to order and had many options to add in. Also I ordered a honey turkey with muenster cheese and lettuce. Both orders very tasty and fresh. They also offer freshly made smoothies and fruit juices. Nice to know I have another option for fresh food in the area.

I go here pretty regularly, the food is great, the prices are very reasonable and the staff is professional and friendly. They have a lot of great healthy options (their salads, grilled chicken and fish all taste great), and they offer tasty, more indulgent menu items like burgers and steak quesedillas as well. This is by far my favorite restaurant in the neighborhood!

SOLID SALAD IN THE BRONX! Its like Pax’ in the city but cheaper. You choose wat you put in ur salad by the chefs at a fraction of the cost. Everything fresh. So happy I dont have to go to Manhattan or all the way to Bay Plaza just to get some good salad. Hope you stay that way El Dorado!

Finally great food and service in the Bronx! I’ve lived in the sme area my entire life and always struggle when it comes to ordering delivery. My order arrived within 25 minutes and it was perfect. The food was great, the delivery was fast and I would definitely recommend checking them out.

This was previously Five Star Restaurant. I noticed there was recent activity and they reopened so after a long day in the office I thought I would get a sandwich since I could see the Boar’s Head logo from across the street.
As I walked in I was pleasantly surprised that there was a large array of fresh cut fruit for smoothies and a salad bar with all the fixins that you would find at a midtown buffet. I was shocked! I told them they need to immediately go to the store, get a poster board to write out FRESH SALAD BAR in marker, and put it in the window.
The service was great. Downfall was my french fries were cold (haha I raved about the salad bar and ended up with fries). Since I didn’t know they came with the wrap to begin with it doesn’t warrant removing an entire star. I look forward to their contribution to the neighborhood.
