Halstead Property – Riverdale Johnson Avenue

Regarding agent Lee Moskof. My aunt moved out of her apartment leaving behind some possessions which I was in charge of selling, donating or taking home for myself. A week prior to the closing Lee Moskof starting complaining that the apartment wasn’t empty. Not all of us can hire a team, stop working to help a relative move or think that left behind possessions are trash. Today, I went to pick up the last of my remaining items and found the apartment door unlocked and everything gone. Apparently Lee Moskof told her cleaning team to just remove it all. Technically that was 48 hours before the closing. No consideration that people are involved in her transactions. She didn’t ask when I was taking the last of my stuff and she considered it trash.
Addendum 12÷8÷15. After I initiated resolution of this, I got a lovely letter of apology from Lee Moskof, two of the items were returned and I was monetarily compensated for the remainder. I see an earlier review of this company from 2013. I was also asked to take down the review. While I am satisfied with the outcome, my real message to Halstead is honesty and integrity and open response to potential customers here is really the better way to run your business. Thanks to Lee and Gus for resolving this.

Someone sent me an email and asked me to update my review, saying that Susan didn’t work there anymore and that it was unfair to rate the whole company based on her.
Is it unfair? I don’t think so.
I dealt with the company who had me deal with her. Nobody else there helped me when she abandoned me with a horrible apartment situation.
So one star it is.
I wish I could leave no stars, but that’s not an option.
