Yeah. I agree with my fellow Unilocalers. The establishment needs a better selection of wines, and hard liquor. The sake selection should be better. They do carry a couple good scotchs. But you have to consider things from their perspective, which means casting your eye at the neighborhood. I’d like a wider selection of moscato wines, given that’s what the kids are drinking these days. Ooh! Maybe the Nikki Minaj one! But then again, is this a Nikki Minaj kinda hood. I think not.

This is another OverPriced Riverdale business. The staff are not knowledgable on their product and has the nerve to be a priced a considerable amount more than the local liquor stores on Broadway. I would rather travel a few extra men’s and save money and deal with a staff that can answer my questions and maybe teach me a thing or two about the wine I am purchasing and can actually recommend an alternative. I just felt the staff that I dealt with had a «Hurry Up and buy» mentality.

The best thing about this place is its location. If you just need a bottle of something and need it fast and you’re close… it’s fine. If you’re looking for something more special or a knowledgeable, helpful staff… not so much. One night I did have a «tequila emergency» and for whatever reason I couldn’t leave home — and they delivered. So that was nice. They even brought a straw.(Kidding, I have my own. Come to think of it, that’s probably why I can’t remember why I needed the delivery.)
