Loretta’s Pizza

Two words: White Slice! Omg, the white slice at Loretta’s is the best I’ve ever had! I dream about this white slice. Just go in and get it asap. We’ve also tried the bbq chicken, meat lovers, grandma’s, eggplant and Sicilian. I even tried the hot dog roll ups and pepperoni pinwheels. Everything is delicious! To the other reviews about delivery: are you serious about long delivery times on a weekend? Do you think you’re the only person ordering for delivery? Loretta’s always tell me how long the delivery will take. The orders are clearly prioritized based on WHEN you order, not WHAT you order. Enjoy Lorettta’s!

I love this place. The service is always friendly and fast. The pizza is great including the gluten free pizza. There is enough space to sit and have your pizza there. The restroom is always super clean.

I love this place. Great prices and awesome pizza, pasta and salad dishes. This is a staple in the neighborhood — we don’t ever order from anywhere else. 100% would recommend.

My brother used to go to school in Country Club and would grab a slice here before I would go pick him up. It wasn’t until recently I tried Loretta’s for myself.
Loretta’s serves pretty decent pizza — I tried their plain and pepperoni which were both good. They use cornmeal in their crust which adds a bit of texture and makes it stands out among other pizza places. I will say though it was a little thick for my taste — I like my pizza crust thin and well done, but the taste and quality of the ingredients were up there with true New York pizza.
I won’t go out of my way to get pizza from here since there are pizzerias closer to me, but for a neighborhood spot it serves its purpose.

This place is hidden away from the rest of the neighborhood and you have to find it but it is worth the hunt. It can be considered a landmark of Throggs Neck and most would say it is. The pizza is good and a good place to visit and eat in by yourself or with kids.

Stromboli’s are great. But stay away awAy from the pizza!!! Who the hell puts corn meal on the bottom of the pizza. Definitely not my pizza. Shame on u guys

Good Pizza. I’ve really enjoyed every single specialty slice I’ve tried (eggplant, veggie, etc). I wasn’t a fan of the plain cheese round pizza — a bit too chewy — so I’ll stick to the specialty pizzas going forward.

I typically judge a pizzeria by how it can make a specialty slice, and I very much enjoyed Loretta’s pizza eggplant slices and spinach slices. I like how Loretta’s tries something new by adding tomatoes to their spinach slice, and their eggplant slice is second only to Rosa’s pizza in faraway Huntington, NY.
We ordered takeout for a lot of different people and they even wrote the contents on each pizza box which was a nice bonus.
Quick and good service. I would definitely go again.

My favorite pizza in the Bronx. Lots of cheese, right amount of sauce, and the crust is soft on the inside but crispy on the outside .
The owners are nice people and the staff make you feel at home when you come here to eat. This is a great place to eat with your family. We also have had our food delivered from here when we have company everyone loves it.

Grubhub forced me to put cheese on my chicken francese sandwich. Which as you might suspect, doesn’t taste good. It also forces you pay for it, choosing between:
1) American cheese for $ 1
2) Mozzarella cheese for $ 1
&
3) Fresh mozzarella for $ 2
Yes… for a dollar more, you have the option of not eating not-​so-​fresh cheese. Again, cheese you didn’t want in the first place.
This is worse than the time when classes made me buy textbooks. Or that time when the MTA raised their fare and there’s no construction in sight. Or you know, every other time I’m forced to do something and pay for it; which isn’t that often but you get the point.

Love lorettas. Never been disappointed with anything I’ve ordered. Chicken bacon ranch slice is the best I’ve had! Chicken fingers and fries are so good!

Great cofertable family type local business that serves great pizza. Quick delivery and the young ladies that work the counter are very nice and approachable.
My 4 year old son loves this place and calls it our pizza store. Thumbs up guys keep doing a great job

Had a large cheese pie delivered & wow! It was delicious. The crust is perfect, nice and cheesy, with a great tasty sauce!

Best pizza shop in the throggs neck, country club area. Really good pizza and customer service. The sausage and pepper slice and white slice are two of my faves, you can’t go wrong with a plain slice either.

Just randomly noticed this restaurant while driving hungry… the pizza is so yummy, u would want to continue eating and eating. Deff need to drink if you are ever in the location! !!

The white slices are packed, heavy and amazing! So smooth and cheesy — just delicious! One of the best I’ve hard thus far. Definitely gives my beloved Pelham Pizza a run for its money.
The pepperoni pinwheel was nothing over the top but I will give them credit for the ingredients. Cheese was superb and the pepperoni is high quality.
No skimping here. The white slice was more than enough to fill me up. I could not give them the additional star because the dough was very chewy, a lot of bread.
Service was friendly and quick.
Price is fine for what you’re getting.
Will definitely be back when I’m in the area.

Pizza Pinwheel Top notch and meatball hero is amazing!

This review is for a delivery order I placed at Grub Hub. Based on the reviews my husband and I were really excited to try this place out.
I placed my order at 7:40 and didn’t get my order until 9pm. Not sure why it takes that long to deliver a slice, a chicken parm sandwich, chicken fingers, garlic bread, and mozzarella sticks.
When I get my order I’m told by the driver that the second part of my order is on its way. I placed ONE order. Apparently they forgot my pizza. Which I didn’t receive until 9:30 pm. Guys this place is less than 2 miles away and there was no traffic at this time.
I decided to call to see what happened and the manager, Robert, wouldn’t even let me get a word in. He began talking over me, raising his voice, completely ignoring me and what I had to say. At this point I was livid. Because not only did I have to wait 2 hours for my food but it was also incomplete, COLD — what a surprise, and the manager actually yelled at me over the phone and went on and on about how upset HE was. Seriously? What terrible customer service. I have never in my life experienced such horrible service.
I will say that the slice was free, albeit I had to pop it (and the rest of my food) in the oven because it was cold as hell.
Needless to say I will NEVER order from here again no matter how good the food was. It really saddens me to see places serve good food and have THE WORST customer service ever.
Note to manager: next time, hear out your customer, let them vent, and then apologize instead of being rude over a mistake YOU guys made. That would have made a world of a difference.

Lorettas has the best pizza and party rolls. They have great service too! Always clean, super friendly and fast delivery.
Try the chicken parm slice, it’s my fave!

The 5 stars is for the pizza and everything they serve here! Absolutely one of the best slices I had in a long time. These Unilocal reviews don’t lie!
Loretta’s Pizza is out of the way but fortunately my boyfriend lives in the Throgs Neck area and decided to give this place a try. We ordered a white cheese slice, BBQ slice, pepperoni wheel and a side of meatballs covered delicious sauce.
The prices are Manhattan prices but you’re getting a HUGE amazingly good slice of pizza. They really load up the slice with they toppings and ingredients to create a meal in one slice of pizza. Seriously unless you walk in after a marathon or have a huge appetite one slice is more than enough. Not complaining though! The pepperoni wheel was new to me and a nice treat and even better with the sauce that came with the meatballs. My boyfriend finished his BBQ slice in no time and looked mighty content.
Needless to say, I’m glad I trusted the previous reviews on this page. Excellent pizza and sides!
