A lounge with good music, drinks, food and most importantly… no drama. I went to Martini Lounge about a month ago. My elementary school friends planned a little reunion there. It’s a small space. When you walk in the place you can basically see the entire venue. I had no trouble locating my party even in the dim, soft lighting. The dj stand was set up on the left side, allowing me to put in my unsolicited song requests. Beyond the dj is the full bar. From front to back on the right side are fancy couches and plush chairs. This is where my fellow classmates hung out. A waitress attended to our drinks and food orders so there was no need to go to the bar. There was no cover or guestlist to bother with– At least not that night. There were no velvet ropes or «holding the line» to make the place appear exclusive when people drive by.(I’m so over that people.) I wasn’t aware of any dress code but to be safe, don’t look like you just came from playing basketball. A crowd started to build around 1AM. I left around 2 so I can’t honestly speak on the 2−4AM scene. Oh yeah so you’re not disappointed, there’s not much of a dance floor between the bar and the couches. Basically a laid back place to hang out with your friends without too much effort.
