I’ve been here a few times. This is a neighborhood bakery, with an excellent selection of pastries and breads. I had a cinnamon morning bun yesterday which pretty much made my whole day. It was soft, flaky, not too sweet and quite fresh. My husband says the cheese danish is exceptional. If you come later in the day, be advised that most of the breads will be stale, but that’s to be expected when it isn’t packed with preservatives. The coffee-not so awesome-but if you care that much, just bring your own. Service is friendly.

Purchased what I thought was a fresh cake this morning for Sunday dinner only to notice there was MOLD in my cake! How can you claim to be a fresh bakery when you are selling old crappy products! How would you like to have a beautiful Sunday dinner ruined by some old moldy dessert? Noticed after the first bite leaving an odd taste, looking closely the at the seemingly delicious slice of cake only to see it riddled with green spots of mold. Imagine you are at the dinner table with all your guests looking at their plates in disgust. NEVER will I EVER buy/eat anything from this place again. Everyone at my house looks like they are going to throw up. Thanks a lot you disgusting animals.

Horrible. First off, I ended up here because everything else was closed. I needed a cake for my mom’s birthday. I chose a strawberry cheesecake from the enclosed case… everything looked good. I chose one and the woman was wrapping it up for me. I took out my debit and she said they didn’t accept it. In this day in age, what business doesn’t accept a card? Luckily, my friend came to the rescue and gave me the dough. Getting home and opening the box, it looked so good BUT, that’s where it stopped. The cake was SOOOOOO sweet, no one can eat it. I literally had my teeth hurting because of the sweetness. I’ve had plenty of cheesecake and this… takes the cake(pun intended) as the worse. You suck.

I’m curious if this place is associated with the Palombo’s on Arthur Ave. I’m guessing the name similarity is no coincidence. But it’s interesting since the Arthur Ave location sucked and this one was phenominal. We got a few pastries here this morning, and they were delicious and fresh. The place was actually packed when we were there, with a huge line nearly out there door, but it moved along quickly. Recommended.
