Honestly, they only thing I have ever purchased here was Big Sandwiches. When you get a 3 or 6 foot hero, they bread is the root of the sandwich, don’t get me wrong, their selection of cold cuts is above average. Have friends continuous ask where did I get the hero’s, I think they made a few more customers.

‘Pruzzos, has stepped the game up to another level! They now have a juice bar, salad bar, and a hot/cold buffet for reasonable price. but the quality is amazing. they know what their doing! their kind enough to put a butcher in the neighborhood instead of walking all the way to key food, which is 6 blocks down. i love this store, and they keep surprising me. best deli grocery supermarket in town no question about it. 5 stars all the way

I was visiting for the weekend and had breakfast there twice. First, I had sausage, egg, and cheese on a seeded roll. I was allowed to choose a bread from the bin and hand it to the man, who then made my sandwich. And it took a couple of minutes to make; these were not microwaved eggs, folks. Great stuff. I went with egg whites, bacon, and cheese on a roll the second time and it was awesome as well. With a Tropicana OJ and a large bottle of water, I paid around 8 bucks both times. Excellent value. I can’t vouch for any of their lunch or dinner items, but they know how to make a good breakfast sandwich.

One of, if not the best deli’s i’v been to. Talk about bang for your buck, the sandwiches are fulled loaded with whatever cold cut, chicken cutlet, eggplant, etc you want. So many different types of sandwiches to choose from as well. Also, it has many choices of rolls, wraps and breads. Iv been here many times and have had different types of sandwiches and not only have i never once been disappointed, but i enjoyed each one. Also it fills you up as well. The prices are better than Subway restaurant and Pruzzo’s gives you so much more meat or whatever it is your want. And they don’t look at your like you’re crazy when you ask for a few extra pickles.

Great staff, always open and the sandwiches are great(breakfast or any time). They now have a buffet bar but I’ll pass on it. I’m not a fan of eating buffet food in an uncontrolled environment. Some people are nasty and like to touch food with their hands. During super storm Sandy, this place was a life saver for the neighborhood. There were only a few places with electricity and none of the 4 local supermarkets had lights. Luckily Pruzzo’s did and their prices remained unchanged. Normally I wouldn’t grocery shop at a deli due to higher prices but they had all of the essential we needed at the time.

Heroes are good value. Filled pretty well and lots to choose from. Best part is they’re always open, which is unusual for this neighborhood.

One of the best deli’s in the Bronx hands down. Super fresh cold cuts all the time. High quality meats, no bullshit. If you get there late, around 1AM, you’re in for a treat… You will have access to fresh out the oven Italian bread, making the sandwich experience ever more glorious! Awesome deli!

Are kidding me??? Pruzzo’s is the best deli in the bronx… I love the salad bar options… no where else in the bronx can you get such a huge selection plus it’s behind the counter so you don’t have to risk getting a nasty aIrbourne disease from Poor Buffett hygiene… And the customer service is always spot-on…I’m amazed they don’t don’t have more rave reviews on here but after about 30 visits I’m comfortable giving them a solid five…

I cannot say enough about this place. I have been coming here since I was in my early teens and the men who work here have been nothing but friendly and kind. Just recently, my boyfriend did not realize that they gave him the wrong change(change for a $ 20 bill instead of the $ 50 he paid with) this is a common mistake that can happen anywhere, i’m sure. my boyfriend hadn;t realized until the next day. he went there around the same time and spoke to the cashier and explained the situation. he did get the money back. that’s a lot to say for a deli in the bronx. we were pleasantly surprised and didn’t expect them to be so gracious and understanding. another time, the cashier comped my bill because a man who worked there had accidentally(barely) bumped into me. these guys really do care about their customers. As for the food, I have never had a sandwich from pruzzo’s that I didn’t like. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a great lunch and good customer service.

I absolutely love this deli! I have lived in this neighborhood my whole life and this is definitely the spot to go before a beach trip. They make the best wraps and sandwiches. When ever I’m craving a chix bacon. ranch wrap this is where I go!

Pruzzo’s is in one word YUMMY! In this nieghborhood where every thing is closed by 10pm, Pruzzo’s is opend 24⁄7. Their sandwiches are the best I’ve had in a long time. Always stuffed to the max and always on fresh yummy breads. It helps that it’s also like a mini mart and allows you to pick up the staples at not ridiculous prices anytime. The staff is pretty friendly and quick … So glad I found this place since I just moved to the area a few months ago!

I’ve never had a sandwich from here, but it’s my go-to market when I need to pick something up quickly. The small salads and sides are yummy, and they’re well-stocked on market items. The beer selection is impressive for such a small place. You’ll pay more than the Bonavita Key Foods down the street, but they have good hours.

I visit Pruzzo’s at least 4 – 5 times a week and have done so for years. The sandwiches are well stuffed and are reasonably priced. The salads and hot foods are excellent. There is a great variety of soda and beer. The staff are very friendly and courteous. The shelves are stacked with a variety of household food and dairy needs. The only downside is that the store can get quite cramped since the aisles and cash register area are very narrow. Also, as an lover of ice cream, the selection is pretty bad even though it takes up the left, rear freezer area. In closing, since I don’t need to buy in bulk, I’d rather go to Pruzzo’s for my day to day needs than making a trip to tthe nearby supermarket.

I’ve ordered their 3 foot Italian and American subs for a house party. They were pretty great. Their potato salad is also awesome. I easily forget that I’m not eating meat… Since this is a 24 – 7 shop, 5 – 0 roll here often. I guess it’s good for business and the ‘hood. IFHTP3+

Pruzzo’s is open all the time, which is a rarity in this neighborhood. It’s a good place to grab something to eat after a late night train ride home since it’s right next to the Buhre Avenue train stop.
