Right at the corner of Sunnyslope and Greenfield sits this small shop connected to a gas station. Watch closely or else you might miss it with the high traffic in the area. Chris’ was recommended to me by a co-worker this last week when my car wouldn’t start. Being new to the area within the last year and not having a mechanic that I trusted, I’m glad to have had this recommendation especially after the quick service I received. Car wouldn’t start over the weekend; I called Monday and was able to get the car in and out on Tuesday. I thought I was having some battery/wiring issues but after the mechanic looked at it, he told me everything was fine and the battery was holding a charge. Also, that the car didn’t need any work. He wasn’t able to help me with the wiring connected to my hitch break since he admittedly explained he didn’t specialize with that sort of wiring. Since nothing was wrong, I went ahead and had the shop do an oil change and paid a lot less money than I anticipated. Downfall… it’s quite the hike from downtown Milwaukee where I’m at. However, I’d rather go to a place that I can trust than pay a ridiculous amount in the city limits. Going to Chris’ was a solid choice and I plan to return. With the amount of vehicles in the lot, it appeared that Chris’ is a place most people trust.
