My fiancée and I hired Elissa to calligraph a ketubah for our same-​sex Jewish wedding. She was wonderful to work with. She is friendly and personable, and very accommodating in making the changes necessary to create a piece for a same-​sex couple. The ketubah she created for us was gorgeous and exactly what we wanted. Her Hebrew calligraphy is every bit as gorgeous as the English. Elissa also responds very quickly to emails and is up front about the timetable and cost of her work– it was worth every penny. We will be recommending her to all of our friends with upcoming weddings!

I recently hired Elissa to letter a wedding gift for my sister, and it turned out so beautifully, I can’t believe it. She was the ultimate professional — emailed calligraphy samples, made suggestions, did a test run so I could okay the sizing, and was clear and reasonable about pricing and how much time it would take. The ink she used was one she made herself, which makes the final piece even more a work of art. I’m so glad I worked with her!
