He’s so nice and helpful! Prices are very good, with good wine options for a casual Saturday night starting at ~$ 10. Great location, nice guy, and good prices!

Folye’s is a very friendly, family owned liquor store. Every time I come here I’m always greeted with a smile. I appreciate their suggestions, they haven’t failed me yet!

Love this place. The owner is super friendly. they have an awesome selection of beers and will order based on request. It is a short walk from my apartment which is of course a plus. I don’t find the place to be overpriced at all. I think people who find the place to be overpriced are either quibbling over a dollar or have not realized that craft beers have entered into the $ 10-$ 12 six pack world. I bought one hard to get bottle of craft the other day and the price was actually $ 0.50 less than other places I have found it.

Yay! I love this little place. This place was close to my friend’s house I was staying at when I was in Boston recently for a class.(On a side note this place was open that very sad Friday when all Boston was shut down, they fulled the drowning of our continued shock that night). The staff is super friendly and they have a nice wall of microbrews. Impossible to leave without some good stuff! If you live in the area, definitely pop in here to get your beverage needs met & support a nice small local store.

Wonderful staff and pretty good beer selection. Prices are a bit high but in line with other area stores(expect to pay ~$ 10 for a six pack).

Fantastic! I totally came across this place upon a friend’s recommendations and I have to admit, I would totally come to this liquor store for the rest of my fancy liquor parties(if only this place was just a little bit closer to home =P) But all jokes aside, what sets this place aside from your average liquor store is the staff. The place is run by two of the friendliest and most down-to-Earth folks I’ve ever met. They listened to my request with keen interest and was able to explain to me all the nuances of different wine/whiskey/port without an ounce of self-importance or mr. know-it-all flare. They recommended«Delirium Tremens» Beer, which, for those medical geeks out there, is the most awesome thing I’ve ever seen! Wine selection: 4 stars Price: 3 stars(just a bit pricey) Staff: 5 stars

a great local family store! While their beer selection isn’t great and their prices are a little overpriced, they have a great selection of wine and liquor for such a small store. The family that owns Foley’s is so nice and remembers us when we come in. I like the small family run feel of this place and will pay the(slightly) higher prices for that kind of connection.

If it’s overpriced, it’s still cheaper than Village Liquor and Convenience on Washington St. in Brookline Village. I’ve been living on Cypress St. for almost a year and didn’t know it was there, cos it’s not on google maps! Very friendly staff, and a much better selection than the one competitor in reasonable walking distance from me.

Foley’s, which is just a short walk from my house, is my new go-to package store. Good selection of beer and wine, and fair prices, but the best part is the family that runs this business– always helpful, always friendly. I went in for some margarita mix a month or so ago, and didn’t stop back in again for a couple of weeks– but sure enough when I went back they remembered me and when I went up to pay they asked me how I had liked that margarita mix. Good customer service goes a long way.
