I do not take the best care of my teeth and so this was slightly anxiety provoking. When I called to set up the appointment, Dr. Thomases was the one to answer and write me in which was surprising. When I arrived, he greeted me by name and was behind the desk to give me all the paperwork I had to complete. Right off the bat, I knew he would be easy to talk to and and comfortable to work with. We sat together to go over some history and issues and he was so hospitable with the little things — like I was being pampered. From the x-ray to the cleaning to the consultation about my pearly whites, he was very thorough and caring. I didn’t think he was pushing me towards different procedures but gave sound recommendations to care for my teeth and gums. For someone who isn’t so vigilant about it, I feel pretty darn motivated now to do as he says. As I left, he called out to say goodbye to me while he was with another patient — so nice! I totally trust him with my oral care and am glad to have found a dentist I can go to consistently.

I recently moved across the country, away from this dentist, and I miss it SOMUCH already. Dr. Thomases was always super friendly, treated me like an adult, and it’s great that when you make an appointment at his office, you are actually seeing HIM every time, not an assistant. Everything I had done there was quick and painless. I never had to wait very long and he never seemed to be running late. Dr. Thomases was always conscious of my insurance and what it would and would not cover and always had fantastic recommendations when it came to having procedures done or waiting for them. When I needed to see someone else for wisdom teeth removal, the office he referred me to was perfect and I had ZERO pain from the procedure. All in all a perfect dentist experience!

Dr Thomases has been our family dentist for about 5 years. I’d highly recommend him for thoughtful and gentle dental care for adults and children. He alerted us to a possible problem with my then 6-yo son’s adenoids when he found several cavities in one visit(even in a new adult tooth) that he thought might be related to continuous congestion. The pediatrician did not believe that there could be a connection, but we followed through with a specialist who advised inserting tubes in his ears and removal of the adenoids. No more cavities and my son’s hearing greatly improved as well. Dr Thomases is always ready to meet with us for appointments any time of day. The only odd thing about his practice is how modest the entryway and lobby room are, but it’s clean and plenty of toys and magazines to keep us busy while waiting for each other’s appointments.
