A Hair Salon

I’ve been coming here for years for my monthly haircuts, but I’ve neglected to leave a review, so here goes! Disclaimer: I get $ 10 haircuts, so I can’t comment much on the crazy procedures you ladies like to get performed. Although, I will say whatever it is you’re looking to get done, it’s probably cheaper here.
It can get busy on the weekends, but if you come here during the day M-​F, you shouldn’t have to wait long or even at all. Everyone here knows what they’re doing, so I don’t have a preference as to which barber gets the honor of cutting my hair. However, there are many regulars that tend to gravitate towards certain hairstylists.
Please don’t forget to tip them. I usually tip 20% ($ 10 + $ 2 = still cheap as hell for a haircut). Oh, by the way, when they talk in their dialect, they’re most likely NOT talking crap about you, unless you do something to piss them off. Just thought I’d add that in here.

I came here with my cousin because she didn’t want to go alone. Keep in mind, I only came with her, I did not get my hair done, which I am glad also.
She got the bottom part of her hair dyed red, a pop out kind of red where you can see her from far away. I was basically there to accompany her and she wanted my opinion of the result.
The result was very nice. It was simple, wash her hair, dye just the bottom part, rinse, and dry. The color came out right and they not only blow dry her hair straight but also iron it straight, my cousin is mix chinese and spanish so she got wavy hair so it was nice of them to not only blow dry it straight but to iron it straight.
Well it isn’t the first time either me or my cousin that got our hair process or dye so we know how to maintenance our hair and after a few days, the red kind of washed off and because a weird dark pink, light pink fade color. She went back to the hair salon and they didn’t seem surprise at all and did the coloring for her for free while she had to pay for the wash and dry. After the getting it fix, a few days later, my cousin basically gave up on the place because this time her hair look orangey pink. After waiting for a week or so for her hair to rest, she went to a different hair salon to fix it and her hair was fine getting done at a different hair salon. I don’t think they were using good products nor were they skillful since it messed up the first time and they weren’t surprise and it mess up the second time again so seriously no point in going back.

They try their best but sometimes jerks refuse to or pay little tips. for those who don’t know, their main source of income is from the tips. Just saying.

AFTER FEW YEARS OF ME GOING TO THE SAME STYLIST AT THIS ASIAN SALON, SHE REFUSES TO DO MY HAIR. WHEN I ASKED HER WHAT DAY SHE IS AVAILABLE, SHE TOOK ME TO A SIDE AND ADVISED THAT SHE DOES NOT WANT TO DO MY HAIR ANYMORE BECAUSE IT IS TOO HARD TO DEAL WITH!!! AND TRUST ME, I WAS ALWAYS AS POLITE AS POSSIBLE AND DID MOST OF MY APPOINTMENTS IN ADVANCE, IN ADDITION, MY TIPS TO HER WERE ALWAYS MORE THAN AVERAGE. If you do not want to experience such humiliation do not go there, ever!!! I WILL not step my leg in there and will complain to as many agencies as possible. She advised me to see other stylists at the salon who are doing even worse job than she does. I AM CAUCASIAN AND I DO NOT CONSIDER MY HAIR SO BAD. HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT!!! UNPROFESSIONAL!!!
