I called this place for an estimate on a laptop power jack repair, they said about $ 60. Thinking that was fair, I brought it in only to be told in person there would be a $ 38 fee before they could even talk about repair… and THEN the estimated $ 60 on top of that if I was right about the problem(which I knew I was). While that rubbed me the wrong way, I had already brought it in and needed it fixed so I reluctantly agreed. The next day they called me and told me the new power jack would cost $ 90 for the part PLUS $ 30 for the labor cost which of course was never mentioned until after they already had some of my money. To make matters worse, I was so suspicious that I did my homework and looked up the part I needed and it costs $ 6 retail… SIXDOLLARS! These criminals are trying to charge me $ 90 for it plus unmentioned labor costs when it probably costs them $ 3 wholesale at most? They are the absolute scum of the earth, and I obviously took my computer back from them immediately. DONOTGIVETHEMANYMONEYEVER! Scam joints like this need to go out of business.

Brought my laptop here to get fixed cause it had a virus. It took him a month to fix it(when initially he said it would be just a few days) and he charged me over $ 150. Didn’t even save any of my files. Said that would cost extra. Also when I went to go pick it up on the day when he said it would(finally) be ready, the place was randomly closed. On a tuesday. At like noon. Never again.

I went in to buy a wireless adapter for my computer. It was not guaranteed to work with a Mac, so I asked the guy if I could return it the same day if it didn’t work. He said, «yes,» plain and simple. I told him I would keep the shrink wrap and all that, to make it easy to resell if a return was necessary. Well, it didn’t work with a Mac, and when I came to return it,(in like-new condition with the shrink wrap still on the box) he calmly pointed to some fine print on a small sign near the ceiling, telling me there was a 20% restocking fee. Thanks for pointing that out in the first place, buddy. Restocking for what, exactly? Seriously, I was the only customer in the store both times. Would it have been too much trouble to let me know in the first place? On top of that, I had to calculate how much he had to give back and then sit there for 10 minutes while he tried to figure out how to give a refund(minus $ 10 «restocking») from his card scanner. I was going to give more stars because I believe in small businesses(even if they have to sell their stuff at a bit of a premium), but the more I think about it, the more this place deserves only one.
