Argana Day Spa

Had three treatments done today, Hammam, hair and scalp treatment and a massage. We totally loved it! So relaxing and peaceful! Can’t wait to do it again. Loved the full body scrub: hammam, awesome!!!

Just had a massage treatment as a gift for my birthday. The spa itself is clean and has a relaxing spa like atmosphere. Unfortunately, my massage was awful. The woman that gave me a massage just touched on spots, she didn’t focus on any areas and was kind of just rubbing my body. At one point, when she was massaging my arms she was actually pinching my skin. I have gone for many massages before, I can’t even consider this a massage. Would not go back and would not recommend it.

We tried this place for spa week and based on the reviews from Unilocal — too bad I didn’t read the one about not having an in-​house masseuse! The room was cold, blankets (not heated) didn’t help. The women were clumsy and knocking things over as they danced around the beds. The massage itself had good pressure but how do you tell a masseuse to slow down their movements?
At first I thought she was preparing by loosening my muscles around my spine but then she removed the blanket and maintained the same thing over and over again. Basically the entire massage was of quick movements and quite rough.
I would not recommend this place for a massage.

My boyfriend and I booked a 60min couples message here after getting some recommendations from friends and family. Things I didn’t like:
— The actual message for me was horrible. The movements were inconsistent. My masseuse never mirrored the same techniques from my left to right side. It was annoying!
— When we first arrived we were escorted to a small room for tea and water and then about 3 mins later taken to the service room to start our massage. Was hoping they would give us robes to change into. Instead they asked us to change in the service room. There was no specific place to leave our belongs.
— 60mins later we went up front to check out and there were already 2 couples waiting. Very awkward. At least send the new guests to the small room to enjoy their beverages.
Things I liked:
— My masseuse asked me what parts I wanted her to focus on and she asked what kind of message technique I wanted. (Even though the actual massage never was what I asked for)
— The place is very clean and quiet.
— Staff is very friendly.
The experience was somewhat relaxing but I wouldn’t go back.

They rescheduled my appointment twice due to massage therapist unavailability. Then the masseuse was 30 minutes late. They should inform their customers that the massage therapist is not in house and appointments vary on her ability to make it through traffic. I ended up leaving without a massage and googled another place to go.

Had facial and microdermabrasion combo.
Decent pricing.
Nice arm massage came with the service.
Hasna definitely knew what she was doing.
Tiny waiting room and a bit of a mess when I entered, but, whatever… they cleaned it up quickly.
Friendly and helpful staff.
Will try again.
Not the best ever, but a nice surprise and experience in Dyker.

Came here for a hammam and to get my brows done two different times for spa week. The place is very clean but a bit of a journey to get to. The waiting room is really nice and peaceful but quite small. Essentially its a small couch, probably couldn’t hold more than 3 people max. They serve you cucumber flavored water as soon as u sit down and there is tranquil spa music playing. Its actually very cozy. They give you some time to relax then tell you to change in the restroom into a robe. They place your clothes in a fine cabinet type of thing and provide you with the key so only you can open it. There are multiple doors down the hallway and I believe each room is for a different service. Because I did have to enter a different room to get my brows done. The hammam is very thorough and they steam you for a good couple minutes. The scrub definitely hurts in a non abrasive kind of way but it does the job. You feel extremely clean. They also have a shower in the hammam room with the moroccan brand shampoo and conditioner which is a nice touch. This is sort of expensive so its a nice splurge once in a while.

the facial and peel were great, but it was VERY VERY sneaky and bad practice what you did. I called before i made the apt asking how much the peel was and was told 85 $ and SPECIFICALLY asked if extractions were included and i was told yes and it was a 1 hr facial. Fine i book it for about 30 min after the phone call was made and was taken promptly. The woman started the peel and about 10 – 15 min the lady said you should come back next week for extractions, i said the girl said extractions were included she said ok walked out and came back and continued with the facial Then when i went to go to pay and my bill was over 160 $ and they tried to say i got 2 different facials, nice try. I definitely wont be coming back here again!!!

Argana is simply the best! Everything they do is with patience and expertise. Hasna is usually my go-​to for all I want done, but when she’s busy, Christine doesn’t disappoint. I go for all my waxing needs and i have experienced the Hammam and a facial (can’t recall the name, P50 I believe). The spa services exceeded my expectations, I left feeling completely relaxed and brand new. A few people even told me my skin and face was glowing.

Polite, welcoming, professional, CLEAN, and good prices ! An amazing place… they don’t rush you like other places and they make you feel at home. Christine is my personal favorite and she is a doll. She is amazing at what she does… everyone there is great!

I came here to get a massage and it was the best!
I’ve had a few massages in the past, and this one was up to par with the rest. I was not in pain at all during the massage and the pressure was just right. Not too hard or soft. The prices were pretty reasonable as well. I’ll probably come back here again in the future. It was very very clean as well! No complaints
