Updating my review because I refuse to give up on this place. The owners are good people and they want to do well for the community. LOVELOVELOVE the new look! The new décor looks warm and upscale. The smaller menu is a nice touch and the slight increase in price is worth it for the upgrades we see now! Food is doing better. Nice moves!

If you plan on having a party there don’t bother… all I can say is that the next time I decide to throw a party for my best friend I will just go with my gut feeling which is the city … I love hip hop music but come on we are not preparing for a drive by. Spent waaaaay too much time on hard core rap. Another thing I noticed was that there was a back entrance. when my entourage asked if they can go back there security stated only selected few are allowed back … I looked at him as if he was dumb as hell like are you charging people to go back there ??? I really had to take a step back and analyze what was going on this lounge /bar/club or whatever it is need some training on how to conduct buisness. from the waitress stealing money fromus to the disrespect from management being accused of sneaking liquor and plastic cups into this whole in the wall establishment !!! How is that possible when we were searched with bags in our hands that had plastic champaigne cups, napkins, paper plates there lucky I even spent money at all at this crapy place lesson learned never do buisness with this place

Nothing special about this place. My coworkers and I went for happy hour after work. When we first got their it was just us and another party at the bar. We had a drink or two while we waited for the dj to arrive. DJ arrives so we had to the back where the lounge area is. From about 6−10/10:30 we danced the whole time like there was no care in the world. I can’t say how this place is after those hours, but for a after work happy hour with coworkers and friends its cool. Plus the happy hour is $ 5 drinks… TOPSHELF!!! Can’t beat that lol

Always good tunes. Mixed crowd, where the«young» at heart and the actual young meet. The bartender Shanoka is a sweetheart, always remembers faces and makes a mean drink. Frisco is easy on the eyes. And K, Mother Russia ain’t half bad. Roxy has the fastest ass you’ll see this side of Brooklyn— if you’re into that kind of thing. I’ve been here multiple time, and each time I’ve gotten great service, and left sufficiently buzzed(depends on how far I’m taking it). All in all, they have a repeat customer in me!

Sad excuse of a lounge! If u have class this isnt the place for u. We got here after midnite && it was $ 20 charge for women &&* $ 30 for men. This place is full of rachet hood people who never been out a day in their life. The drinks come in a small plastic cup & i think it was $ 12. Watered down non sense. The music was awesome. Thats the only reason this place gets 1 star. It was soo much pushing and shoving && no walkin room. It wasn’t worth the $ 20 at all. Onmy reason we ended up here is because the place we was suppose to go was acting racist. Dont come here at all

Roxy & Tati great bartenders dj seemed like he was struggling and the sound system definitely needs ripping out. Over all nice venue but revellers need to make more of an effort. How can one feel over dressed in jeans and a T-Shirt. Glad it was free Thursday night

I can not give a fair rating to this place as I have little memory of what happened when I was here a little over a month ago and also did not stay long. Came here at the end of November for a co-workers birthday. Original plan was to go to Milk River close by but being the line for that place was ridiculously long, we opted to go to BeeHive instead. As I mentioned I don’t remember much from being here due to partial intoxication. Just remembered it was crowded and hip-hop music was playing. I think I stayed no longer than 25 – 30 minutes cause the older I get the less patience I have for dealing with clubs and large crowds, ESPECIALLY if I don’t have a table and can’t sit down just to chill and max out for a little bit. Unfortunately, I do not see myself coming back here but anything is possible.

I don’t understand this place. Are you a bar or a club or a hookah lounge? I came to B-Hive for NYE because Unilocal told me this place was a hookah bar. Ummmm, it really wasn’t. We paid $ 25 for those small/crappy hookahs that you can buy at a deli on Steinway street. The bartender/waitress was nice but she did take her sweet sweet time giving us the bill. On a better note, the food was pretty good but the music was weird. You cannot play Tupac and then play Miley Cyrus. You just cannot. I probably wouldn’t go back to B-Hive until they figure out what they are. If you want to charge a cover, at least have something special to offer.

I was out in Brooklyn waiting to pick up a family member from a bus ride. I needed a place to just hang out for awhile and have a quick drink. I drove by and saw that B-Hive was a little intimate place which was perfect for me that night. There was a few folks inside and everybody knew each other, which let me know it was a local spot. Basically everybody knew I wasn’t from around the area, including the bartender. It’s CHEERS for everybody that live near Atlantic Avenue. Which leads me up to why the Bartender charged me $ 14 for a 6 oz WEAK bottom shelf Long Beach. She told me it wasn’t top shelf and that was the price. This place is a 2 by 4. Not a club. I wish I would pay $ 10 to enter. I will never return and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

I checked in at this bar last Saturday and a Unilocal deal came up. I purchased the deal and asked the bartender about it. Although she was veery nice she had no idea how to process the deal and actually read the details from my phone several times. She explained that she would call her manager and figure out how to process and gave me a drink. The apple martini was not good at all but for round two I asked for a Grey goose apple martini and it was much better. The place is very smal, basically two rooms. One room has a bar and a couple of tables and the second room has a small dance floor surrounded by small via booths. The music was great and I would say that it was the highlight of the night. There were only two bathrooms which reminded me of being at a house party. Pretty tight space but staff is friendly and music is great.

If you’re looking for a good time, this is the place to be. With it’s relaxing environment and backyard space completely closed off from the outside it will be a night we’ll spent.

2.5 stars. Went here for a friend’s birthday. The VIP seating is too close for comfort. Maybe chairs that separated instead of a long couch would be a better idea. Also the mixed drinks weren’t anything to write home about. They were strong, but tasted purely of alcohol, not really a mix of anything at all. The music was the best part of the night as we heard many songs old and new that made people from 18 to 80 want to get up and dance(I did not see any 80 year olds btw) My only problem with the music was the speakers seemed cheap and when the bass got high, the speakers made an awful screech. A better sound system and good bartenders would make this place a solid 3. I might try it again, my boyfriend not so much. Note: It is for an older crowd so be warned. Double checking my pictures I saw pimp hats & furs…

2stars plain and simple. Pros– great sound system; bar area in the front, lounge/dance area in the back. Cons– I went this past weekend(labor day), it was dead with literally three or four people who all looked over the age of 40, and sat at the bar eating and drinking. The other con is that this place charges a cover(ladies are free before 12). What in gods name would you be charging a cover for? They have nothing special to offer. I think it’s kind of messed up to let two people pay a cover charge to get into a lounge that has absolutely NOONE in it after just hearing my sad sap story about how the only reason we drove from queens to Brooklyn was for a party that got shut down before it even opened… Well now that I went off on that tangent maybe you understand my reasoning for giving this place two stars. I wouldn’t come back here again… not worth the drive from queens to Brooklyn!

My friends and I were at B hive on a Friday night and it was packed with great music in R&B and Hip Hop. The afterwork crowd seems to be the mature crowd and as the night got later, the younger more clubbish crowd came in. Drinks weren’t that good and the $ 10 cover was whack. :-) However, if you’re like me who just want to listen to some great music and chill you will definitely like this spot. Oh and be careful with parking because I got a $ 45 parking ticket on Atlantic Ave. My bad for not reading the signs. :-)
