So, I am actually horrified. And Irate. This place physically assaults their customers. A friend called me because they had messed up their jacket(some light bleach stains on a nice garment) and wanted to make sure they were not going crazy/getting too upset. After looking at the jacket, I had to admit those were new marks. The man LOSTIT immediately. Cursing, screaming and his wife joins in. The woman tried to snatch the garment out of my hand(like bitch what, we too old to play tug o’ war). The man starts pushing and hitting me with his forearm screaming«You betta pay me!» Mind you we have not left the establishment nor tried to. His wife starts filming everything on her phone as he repeatedly assaults me trying to snatch the garment/block me from moving. THESEPEOPLEAREINSANE. So it continues– slamming the door on me as I was sitting down, screaming, pushing. Like wow. Eventually a woman stops and literally says«Me and this place been here 25 years these are the nastiest, most delusional, worthless people. Do not waste your time. Run and never come back.» Well this was an elaborate retelling… It’s still fresh.

Undecided about this place. While they did the technical job asked, I found the level of customer service to be inconsistent in quality and not at the level of other cleaners I’ve been to in the past.

Extremely dissatisfied with my service here. I brought two dresses here and they charged me $ 12.50 for each($ 3 more than the normal price) because one had pleats that needed to be carefully ironed. When I picked the dress up, it was not ironed well at all and the edges were left frayed. The chemicals that they use are so harsh that it washed out the color of the other dress rendering it completely unwearable. Never Ever going back here again! Update– I brought my dresses back to the cleaners and was verbally assaulted. I was told that I brought the dresses in damaged and he(the manager) didn’t care about my situation because he «has new machines» and many other customers. Beware of this place!

I’m a fan of this cleaners. Call me crazy, but customer service goes far. I bring things in to be altered and cleaned. I’m never greeted with anything less than a smile. And the quality of the work is very high. The owner even asks about my family when I haven’t seen him in a while(granted I’ve never been in here with any family members or mentioned family members, so I’m certain that he’s mixed me up with someone else). I see some other reviews that complain about the price. Perhaps my perspective is skewed since I used to go to a cleaners in midtown that had me simply questioning if I should buy new clothes with every visit. Dutch Cleaners is definitely not that bad.

This place is way to expensive for what they do. It’s the most convenient place for me to get to from my apartment, but I’d rather trek an extra couple of blocks somewhere else not to get ripped off.

$ 35 for two ladies blazers and two ladies shirts does not a good deal make. On another visit I was charged $ 25 for the same two blazers and three of my boyfriend’s shirts. I admit I used them twice since they are close to my apartment and take credit cards, but I’m done with the outrageous prices. Glad everyone else likes paying way too much for their dry cleaning– I don’t and I will not be using this business anymore.

I don’t know the name of this place, it is listed on google and Unilocal as Dutch Cleaners, the sign say Barbag Cleaners, and my ticket says Moon Cleaners, but whatever the name is they do a great job. They fixed the buttons on my coat, and all my stuff came back looking like new.

So I go in to Dutch Cleaners and an Asian man starts helping me. He’s not Dutch. I blink. Whatever. I hand him my long, beat-up camel hair coat and my girlfriend’s peacoat and ask him to fix the buttons on both. «Both?» “Both. And dry clean, of course. Please.“ I leave and look at the ticket — $ 50 for two coast?! Are you fucking kidding me? I got my coat back today. The dry cleaning was excellent. The buttons looked great. The inside lining of my coat had been torn — he’d freaking fixed it. There were holes in the pockets — he’d sewn those up. I hadn’t asked for those things, and he did them anyway. The coat looked fantastic. I love this cleaners; love love love; I’ve never been to a cleaners this good. and I love Crown Heights more and more everyday!
