It’s not state of the art, but it does the job for basic target practice. They don’t take credit/debit so if you’re short on ammo or forgot any of your gear, they only take cash. When you walk in, you’re greeted by the old timers that spend their day reminiscing about their glory days. They have ample lanes open for practice and it’s rarely packed in there. Whenever I go there’s never more than 4 people shooting at once.

Joined the Bay Ridge Rod and Gun Club last week and the guys there made me feel right at home. Willy, who processed my membership papers, was a great guy, telling me some great stories of past years. Another range official was Dominick, he gave me the complete tour of the range and explained everything about the range to me in great detail. Dominick was the resident«expert» on semi auto hand guns, which was what I was shooting for the first time, when I encountered an issue with my gun. Dominick was right there to help me resolve the issue with some solid advise and lots of know how. Overall, I would even be happy to hang out there at times with these guys on days I wasn’t shooting, just to experience the friendship and knowledge all these guys are willing to share. The 21 shooting lanes are well lit, well ventilated and clean. I am confident I made the right choice in becoming a member of this club. You should check them out.

A great, local, friendly place for a NYC gun owner! Friendly knowledgeable people. Sure it may seem dated but I have heard they are updating the place very soon. All in all, it is a good place to shoot in the city. Pistol and .22 rifle only.
