Drinks are good. Service is very slow. Great backyard space and ambiance. Fine for a random night out.

I had my birthday party here as it’s the only place I could think of that could meet up all my requirements: not too expensive, chill crowd and staff, a backyard, the possibility to both hold a conversation with friends and have a dance party, open until 4am. I wish there were more bars like Beloved!

I heard about this place from friends. They told me they were doing good cocktails. I didn’t attend to go but last night I walked by this bar after dinner and decided to have a cocktail. The cocktails are really good but what surprised me the moste was the help and caring of the barman. My friend doesn’t like cocktail (she is a wine person) but she told him what she didn’t like and he created a really good drink for her. Deserve a 5 out of 5.

They have best music from today and the past. And the bartender was quick given the volume. The drinks were a bit too sweet for my taste, but overall delicious. I had a play on the Tom Collins and a «Bartender’s Choice.»

Went for happy hour on a Saturday– $ 8 for cocktails isn’t super cheap for happy hour but they are outstanding cocktails and well worth it. Atmosphere for happy hour was chill, good for an intimate drink or for smaller groups looking for a spot to settle for a while.

The Milk Maid is so good! Not on the menu anymore, but if you ask for it the bar tender will make it for you.
Good spot for hanging out in the back yard. Also fantastic for groups.

Good laid back spot especially for a date night. Music was good and the bartender was on point. I hold my cocktail bars to a higher standard especially when your spending over 10 dollars a drink so I was a little dissapointed that every old fashioned I order contained standard sized ice cubes. If your main focus is cocktails and the art of detail then the owner has to spring for the highball ice cubes. Like I said the drinks were delicious but it’s the little things that count for me

This place is the best. Music always good. Good people. Good for all night or a night cap. Outdoor space is awesome in warmer months too.

Yes, go here. Drink the drinks, you will have an awesome time. And if you do not know what you want, trust the bartender. They know what they are talking about!

Great cocktails. Place is never busy when I go after work. The bartender makes unique yet perfect concoctions. Great relaxed atmosphere. No fuss.

Stumbled upon this place after eating some Polish food in Greenpoint — turned out to be perfect for the night. The place was not very busy so was able to grab a place at the bar. They had a specialty cocktail option called «Bartender’s Choice» — essentially you choose your spirit and add-​ons and the bartender puts something together — pretty cool. It obviously comes down to the mixologist how good it turns out and he did a great job. He basically made me a Penicillin, had it before at other places and it came out pretty good. My friend ordered a custom cocktail as well and she loved it.
The place has a cool vibe — good amount of seating but can see this getting busy on the weekend. Great service, nice bartenders, etc… would head back if in the area!

We were here for a friends birthday. They were so nice. We had a small party and they went out of the way to make it really special.
The owner payed a lot of attention to us, even made a special drink. They were great. Good job guys.

I went her for a friends birthday gathering and had a pretty amazing time. This place is small but intimate– however, they do have a backyard patio– which is awesome except for the fact that it closes at 11:30pm due to the neighbors.
I was diggin the music they were playing that night– 90’s r&b– every other song is MAH JAM! The drinks were reasonable also. Their $ 8 drink special MESSED ME UP. It added to my gnarly hangover the next day.
The bartenders are scruffy sweethearts and they know how to mix a cocktail. One of my favorite things in the world is sitting at a GREAT BAR, watching the bartender make drinks. Their drink menu was super complex and super classy.
I would definitely come here again. It’s too bad I live in Jersey though. The commute is awful for me :(

Solid cocktail place in Greenpoint. I jumped at the Milk Maid, which had coconut milk in it. It was a good choice, indeed. What else am I going to say? Cocktail places are pretty standard nowadays. There’s not much that differentiates this one from all the others.

Great cocktails, friendly bartenders and a backyard. A winning combination.
The cocktails are priced well and totally killin’ it. Ask for a gin maid!

Love this place. Fantastic cocktails, friendly bartenders, and a great atmosphere make this one of my favorite bars in Brooklyn.
My favorite drink on the cocktail menu is something called a Milk Maid. Tequila, sweetened coconut milk, fresh lime, salt, and cucumber served shaken on the rocks. So delicious.
You can also ask the talented bartenders to make you a cocktail with a certain liquor and flavor profile and they will manufacture something amazing.
This bar is fairly dark, however its artfully lit with candles which make it a great date night choice. They also have a pretty sweet outdoor/​backyard area to spend time in during nice weather.

Considering I live in the neighborhood, I have no idea why it took me so long to discover this lovely bar. I pass it every day on the way to the train, but I always thought it was a Polish restaurant, until I ventured here for a birthday party on Friday.
Overall, this place is great! There is plenty of room here to relax with friends at the numerous tables they have both in front and in the back. The music was awesome, a little something for everyone and some tunes that are great to dance to.
The bartenders are awesome, always attentive and quick to get drinks to thirsty patrons. They offer a number of delicious cocktails and love that they’re only $ 10. I had two of the gin cocktails, which were strong but yummy. On my third attempt to get another, the bartender told me he was making me something special to mix it up — and it was another delicious gin cocktail. I love when bartenders do this. It makes me feel special and I love trying new drinks.
My fiancé was all over their really good beer selection. I like that they charge $ 6 for any of their beers, even though it would be far more at other bars. Makes things simple and you don’t have to look back at your bill and go «why was this beer $ 9?!» Be warned, a number of their beers are really strong, so it’ll knock you down if you don’t watch out. Something that happened to a few of my friends, but it was all in good fun.
So yeah, I really like this place. Great staff, great music, great booze and all packaged in a really cute space. I’ll definitely be back for more.

For the last couple of years, the lady and I have frequented Manhattan Ave every so often to quell our Polish food cravings. After finishing dinner nearby recently, we stumbled upon this gem of a bar.
We walked in and immediately thought: sleek, sexy, intimate. Polished wood, comfy seating, candles and a cozy bar lent to a perfect setting for a few nightcaps after dinner. The bartenders were really friendly and knew their stuff. Definitely try out the specialty drink menu; the lady and I tried a couple of different ones throughout the course of the night and each one was off the chain. Although we sat at the bar, I checked out the place a bit and there is a huge, open back area with plenty of additional seating.
Definitely a great spot to grab a drink if your wandering around Manhattan Ave!

Just a great local bar with a slightly upscale taste. Some notes:
— Everything from $ 3 Tecate to $ 10 delicious cocktails
— Beautiful people
— Low-​key (possibly unfinished) backyard open till 11pm weekdays and 1am weekends
— Meyer’s soap in the «water closet»
— Lots of sun during the day, candlelit ambiance at night
— Great dancey music on weekends
— Not over-​crowded (yet)
