This will be 4th year for my daughter and 2nd year for my son in Marks JCH summer camp. Every morning they are eager to go camp and never want to be even a minute late for the «Boker Tov» greeting. The counselors treat all the kids with extra individual and personal care, attention and dedication. All the counselors and staff are so friendly, kind and passionate about Marks JCH, resulting in inspiration and motivations for the kids. The camp’s program is full of great activities such as sports, art and dance and of course kids are always raving about all the exciting trips they get to go on. The kids can’t wait until next summer and I look forward to signing them up for camp as well.

This summer will be my older child’s 4th summer and my younger child’s 2nd summer. There’s a reason why we keep signing on to this summer camp — we are very happy with it!
Marks JCH summer camp is truly the best in Brooklyn — their model is copied by other camps, but no one can replicate Marks JCH. They are super organized, very safe, their trips are amazing and the Jewish theme awesomely completes the whole experience. They have a ton of arts /​sports activities to make it fun for any type of kids, whether artistic or athletic. The organization is run very well — every minute is planned for, every child is accounted, every trip has enough staff to look after kids. We love the daily morning routine and the Israeli staff are awesome. We are excited to be going back! Two thumbs up!

Can tell you that this place was one of the best summers of my life, surprisingly not as a camper, but as a camp counselor for teens while I was attending college
I really got a good non biased perspective of this place since I did not grow up attending the JCH nor have I ever been here prior to being a counselor that one summer.
By every action the staff here takes, you can tell that they really care about the community and the kids under their care
All of the activities and the programs here seem to aim for a greater good, and if this was my usual food review, I would say this place was baked with love (had to say it lol)
I am most familiar with the summer camp program, but they have just about every activity and program under the sun, to meet most family needs

A one stop shop for families! A great summer day camp, a transformational overnight teen camp, a gym and pool, yoga and zumba classes, volleyball and basketball, senior programs, children’s programs, family programs, and community events!!! What else do you need? It’s a support network for new immigrants and those who need a little help. Which ever service you may need the J staff is there to help.
Honestly the best part is walking into a place that starts to feel like a second home from the very first moment.

The ‘J’ is truly a wonderful place. This center offers services for all ages, at varying costs, that can honestly be called life changing. From their numerous children’s carnivals and educational programs, to programs for teens that build leadership, self-​esteem, and a sense of identity, as well as aid for new immigrants and struggling elderly, this center has it all. It offers a great afterschool and pre-​k program, SAT/​Tutoring classes, Swimming/​Dance/​Music lessons, as well as ESL classes for adults, among many other things. You can find just about everything at this center, and won’t have to worry about the price. If you need financial assistance, the ‘J’ would gladly offer you a scholarship or, lower price, in order to assist you. Their highly-​skilled staff members, and volunteers, are all friendly and willing to help, and make this community center a true representation of ‘Kehilla’.
