This store rocks!!! The selection & quality of shoe r a rare find @ such reasonable prices! The staff is attentive & the owner makes u feel valued while being patient (women buying shoes, duh!) & is he crazy knowledgable. Been a fav spot for years, I shudda Unilocaled them these 5 stars long ago! A Brooklyn gem!

This right here folks is everything I want in a shoe store in Brooklyn. Its not overwhelmingly large like DSW can be. (Not that I dislike it), However, the buyer and owner of this shop has impeccable taste in shoes. He really knows his patrons. He is on top of the latest fashion in shoes and he will continue to make all the ladies happy with his discerning eye. I never walked out emptied handed, and if I did, its because I put something on lay away. You get the personal attention you need from the salespeople and they give great suggestions. Again, my all time favorite shoe store. Every time I’m working Brooklyn It gives me joy to stop in and check out his latest.

AMAZING… This is a place that always have sale, the customer service is on point with a smile & assistance, great music to dance to while shopping, they carry wide leg CUTE shoes in all styles. I love this place. It’s ur one stop shopping spot for happy feet.

My friend and I were in the mood to shop for high heeled shoes. I took a look around and saw a wide selection of boots, leather shoes, and flats. They did seem neatly placed. Our issue was that we could not find many suede heeled boots (minus a star) and my friend wanted one pair of leather boots but they did not carry her size (minus a star). I found that music was vibrant inside. There were two ladies working there ready to help people with questions. I even saw some deals near the front. Price ranges from $ 20 to $ 100 to $ 200. They have brand names like Clarks, Aerosol, Franco Sarto, Via Spiga, and Boutique 9.

This shoe store has been existing for as long as I can remember. For unique shoes and boots this is your store!

Rip Off! + Horrible «service». The overinflated prices are apparently a reflection of the owners’ narcissistic self image. Two years ago I stopped in attracted to the «up to size 13» sign in the window (I’m an 11) only to receive unsolicited criticism about my outfit from head to toe in only what I can imagine was some sort of attempt to embarrass me into purchasing overpriced under-​fashionable shoes. When I clearly stated my objection to the unsolicited commentary which had been delivered condescendingly at a preachers pitch for the entire store to hear and pointed out that being a shoe store retail clerk doesn’t qualify you as a fashion expert, the clerk identified himself as the owner and argued that as such he is an expert and entitled to pass judgment. Thoroughly disgusted, I left determined to never return. Determined that any pair of shoes there could also be found at DSW or online and no pair of shoes was worth the experience of this place… Recently, my MIL was in for a visit and as we strolled down Montague she wanted to go in to find boots. I decided to let go of my «silly» grudge and just go… she finds a pair on «sale» marked down to $ 60 from $ 180 or something (seems like a big savings!). At check-​out she is subjected to the same pulpit style delivery of «wisdom» (this time on another subject). Again, unsolicited, spectacle making, ignorant, and stomach turning. After wrestling her free of that distasteful situation, we leave… And here’s the kicker: We turn down Court Street and only a couple blocks down find the EXACT SAME boots for $ 40 — not on «sale». We cannot return her original purchase because they were on «Final Sale». Real clever, Church Lady Wannabe Shoe Sales Pompous (y) Rip. Off. Waste. Of. time.

I shop at bentley’s every chance I get, u should see my collection. Lol. Always have what I am looking for. Been shopping over fifteen years, and the shoes just get better. They are very helpful and extremely friendly.

Can you remember when you used to be serviced when you went to a shoe store?
When the sales person actually measured your foot, gave you advice, showed you other available sizes?
If you can, then you’ll understand why I’ve given Bentley’s Shoes five stars.
And if you can’t, then you should visit Bentley’s so that you can understand real customer service.
The owner and the women he has working there are super friendly. He carries a great array of shoes in a variety of widths and styles.
And they take layaway!
But here’s why I really, really love Bentley’s: he not only carries extended calf boots, but he has a relationship with a great cobbler who can extend the calf on any boot you like. Trust me, you won’t be sorry!

I can rely on them to have a great selection of fashion boots and flats. I’ve been shopping here for almost 20 years. Oh God! Did I just say that?
