Bo Bo Cleaners

My jeans had ripped at the crotch — got them fixed here for $ 4 instead of having to buy a brand new pair. I came back a day later to pick them up but got the impression they were ready even sooner. Good stuff!

I’ve since moved out of Flatbush but part of me wishes I still lived there for the convenience, price, and quality of this small place! The staff are sweet and very understanding when I would go weeks without picking up my clothes, I never had anything ruined or even slightly botched by them. AND THEIR PRICES ARE INCREDIBLE! I would go back there in a heartbeat and have even contemplated doing so even though I now live in Queens!

There number doesn’t work but they are fully operational. I usually drop off my jeans when they rip at the thighs. $ 6 a pop is a great price to fix my favorite jeans. Dropped a pair off Friday morning as a tester. I needed them by Monday. She said it would be ready on Saturday and damn if it wasn’t. Told her I have a bag of jeans for her. Everything looks great and can’t wait to drop off the rest. They aren’t open on Sundays and holidays.

Bo Bo Cleaners is great. It’s right at the Junction, around the corner from the end of the 2 and 5 trains, and steps from the Brooklyn College campus. It’s right near where I work and about 50% of the cost of any dry cleaners near my home. I’ve had several items cleaned here, and I have had them stitch up a dress which I ripped. I’d love to say the dress was ripped off me by an impatient lover, but I think it was just that I was carrying something awkwardly and didn’t realize I was also ruining my dress. Oh, and to clean and stitch the dress it was only $ 8. Cleaning a dress in a «nicer» neighborhood has cost me around $ 15. The ladies here are very friendly and they have a quick turnaround. The only minus is that it takes me a while to get home, so often whatever items I’ve just had dry cleaned wind up re-​wrinkled, but at least they’re nice and clean for me, and my wallet is still quite full.
