Bobbys is amazing. They have everything from curtains, bikes, clothing, appliances etc. The prices are great compared to other department stores. I went on an early Sunday morning so it wasn’t as crowded as I heard it was. The staff minded their own business but if you needed help, they will assist you with no hesitation. Everything is easy to find and as mentioned before, the prices! So amazing. I will definitely return.

Bobby’s, Bobby’s, Bobby’s. I’ve been going to this store sporadically for over 20yrs. You get what you pay for. The reason why I’m giving this place 4 Stars is because I accept them for what they are. I know that when I walk into Bobby’s I’m going to see cheap-priced clothing and buy one of those«irregular» packs of undershirts to use for the weekend chores. I know I’m going to see a lot of opened and resealed items. More importantly, I know I’m going to get crappy customer service(which is why they’re not getting 5 stars). Go to Bobby’s knowing what you want and you won’t be upset about the clustered sections, hanging bikes or wonder why they sell their shoe-racks on the stairs. Need a cheap coffee pot or a decent comforter for a new bed-set? Maybe you just need to buy some runaround shoes for your kid’s muddy field trip. go to Bobby’s. You won’t be upset that you have to throw things away because Hey, you didn’t pay much for it anyway!

Great Store large selection of everything you might need for the home or yourself. The quality of stuff here is pretty okay compared to many other 99 cent stores, the price is unbeatable! Many of the curtains and home décor is unique and very nice. Cute patterns and good quality curtains for 10 bucks a panel is pretty good. Customer service is pretty okay just have to ask for help from people wearing red smocks. They are the type to see you looking for something and not ask if you need help. I took one star off for the small isles and small selection of curtains as compared to the one in Church Ave. No working bathroom and getting parking is a adventure. Otherwise the prices are worth the headache walked out with $ 100 of curtains, rods, kitchenware, bathroom décor! Not bad.

As far as customer experience goes, it’s probably as bad as it gets at Bobby’s. The aisles on the first floor are crammed full of merchandise and difficult to navigate, especially when the store is packed. You have to walk up these super long stairs just to get to the second floor, making it impossible for anyone with bad knees or some other debilitating condition to go to. It’s not filled with purty signage, mannequins, and display stands. Half the stuff is in those large floor display crates(?) that you have to sift through to find the exact size, style or color item you want. So why am I giving it five stars? Because Bobby’s is everything that native New Yorkers love about homegrown bargain basements. Sure, it’s no Target or Kmart, but dammit – who cares? Not only does it have everyone you could possibly want, it puts the B in Bargain Basement. When I say everything, I mean, everything – shoes, house clothes, sleepwear, hospital uniforms, umbrellas, computer gadgets, tons of houseware(sheets, curtains, storage bins, décor, heaters, fans, etc), school stationery, bikes, underwear, food. You name it, they’ve got it, and all at rock bottom prices. Case in point of how awesome this store is: two years ago, I needed a simple HDMI cable. I went to the local Radio Shack(R.I.P.) and was immediately shown one for $ 30. When I asked for a cheaper cable, the cheapest it had was $ 22. I immediately went to Bobby’s and found one for $ 5 bucks. It’s still working to this day. In fact, every single computer peripheral I have ever bought has come from this store – all very inexpensive and decent quality. If your mouse, computer keyboard or some other small device goes kaput, skip that bus/train ride to Best Buy; this is the perfect place to go. So I really have nothing bad to say about the store. If there’s one thing I could fault it for, it’s for not having elevator access for people like my mother, for whom climbing that giant staircase would be impossible. But outside of that, this is a great department store that I hope sticks around for a very long time.

I bought everything I needed for my entire house for little over $ 100!!! its a great place if you need household stuff such as cups, plates, curtains and bed sheets, the list goes on. The prices are really hard to beat! I will be revisiting soon to pick some more things to organize my bedroom! My only complaint is that it is really hard to go bulk shopping because of the small sized rolling baskets. It was impossible to get around the store with two small baskets. So I had to leave them in a corner and return to it when I was done shopping. They need more aisle space and big shopping carts!!!
