This is my «go to» delivery pizza spot. How do you beat a $ 10 large pie anyway? Always a great pie, quick delivery. Really enjoy the calzones as well. If you like sauce with your calzone, be sure to remind them. I’ve had a few deliveries where they forgot the sauce.

The pizza here is great! Not too greasy, not stingy with the cheese, flavorful sauce and nice waitstaff. Definitely a neighborhood spot, don’t come here looking for cliché red and white check tablecloths and silverware. Come looking for comfort food made by a hard working family owned business.

So, I’m in town visiting some family and I thought BK would have that dope pizza… man, this place ain’t reppin’ well for the BK! The pizza-nothing to tell your moms about but it was mediocre; it need more sauce! The décor-is actually inviting. The service-not that friendly;they were kinda like jerks. The prices-are okay but their specials kinda sucked-if I added peperoni on a slice then the pizza special didn’t count-pretty silly. **Note: Not worth it for a 1st date but if you are really hungry for a slice of pizza and you are in this neighborhood then it will satisfy you hunger. So check… I got a slice of cheese Pizza, the crust was good, the slice was a decent size but the sauce needed some more seasoning and the pizza needed some more sauce. But they should step-it-up a little more!

Ordered food on Grubhub 12÷9÷14 and man o man was that food good. The meatball lasagna was out of this world. Great garlic knots and buffalo wings that made me want to fly. I shall return.

Solid slice via delivery, but nothing to write home about. Faster delivery than most of the other pizzerias in the neighborhood. Pretty bad slice in person — they don’t do a lot of walk in business, so the pies are rarely fresh. As it relates to Yolanda’s comment below, it’s not strange for a pizza guy to pick up garlic knots with his bare hands. you know pizza is all made by hand right? The process of making pizza crust involves LOTS of handling. By hand. As far as hygiene — everything looked fine to me and they had an A health dept rating when I was there.

Seriously good Sicilian. Not too much cheese, crispy crust almost burned(but not). Extended my lunch for a second slice

OMG! I saw with my own eyes a worker picking up the garlic knots with this bare hands. He notice that I saw what he did. I told him I saw what you did. He just continue to do what he was doing. I’m not coming here no more.SMH.

The pizza is mediocre. I liked the fact they had BBQ chicken but then I had a slice with gristle and it put me off. The pasta is okay but they put way too much cheese on all of them even if you ask them to hold on it. Delivery is prompt. Always friendly and polite and they remember regulars.

Mostly the reason my rating is so high is because, although it really is decent pizza, it is so far above the rest of the pizza in the area it gets extra points. I had a slice of the spinach and the plain cheese – both were delicious but I was particularly surprised by the spinach pizza because most of the time I order it, the spinach is clearly from a frozen package and is way too wet. Not the case here. They clearly use fresh ingredients. Everything for both slices was crispy where it was supposed to be crispy and doughy where it was supposed to be doughy. Word to the wise: know the specials. The deals are good but no one is going to go out of their way to save you money, which, I think, is perfectly reasonable for a business.

Fairly standard NY pizza. Not a standout but certainly good enough to order from. The total price to deliver one large cheese pizza and one large with sausage, peperoni, peppers, onions and mushrooms was $ 35.00. Delivery came within half an hour. There were so many toppings on the supreme style pizza it was pretty floppy and all of my toppings slid off the dough. I just ate the whole thing with a fork and it still hit the spot.

Pizza is decent but not the best tasting pizza around. If you want a mouth watering slice… move on. If that doesn’t matter because you’re just starving and need to eat something quick, weel this should serve your purpose.

Totally standard pizza that doesn’t wow. If it were located outside of New York — say Boston or Philly — I’d give it 5 stars and call it a day. But if you’re going to compete with New York pizza you have to be more than just totally standard. Basically what I’m getting at, Bona Pizza, is I patronize you because you have a pretty good $ 9 carry out pizza and you’re around the block from my house. Good enough that I won’t bother walking a few extra blocks to try out another pizza place in the area, but not good enough that once I move from this apartment I’ll ever think back longingly on the times we used to share. Garlic knots are don’t bother.

Came across this place while walking aimlessly hoping to run into a pizzaeria and boy was I happy I found this place. Small hole in the wall looking place; it smelled like my own slice of heaven. The two guys were speaking in Italian before I interrupted them. SCORE! A real, Italian pizzeria within a three block walk from my house. I felt like I was the luckiest girl in the world but, they still had to pass the taste test. I got a personal pan pizza which was hella cheap($ 6) and some pepperoni rolls. The sauce is delicious with a bit of a kick, you could taste the seasoning and the fresh ingredients they simmered to make that sauce and I have to say that I am absolutely addicted to their pizza. The pepperoni roll was crispy on the outside, delicate on the inside and they were not sparing with the pepperonis. The marinara sauce that they gave was also fresh and greed inducing. I have now forsaken all other pizzerias for Bona. Good, fresh food every time and they deliver! Do it!
