Really great tattoos, fair prices! Kaves did an awesome job on a tattoo on my calf, I love it! Will definitely go back for my next tattoo.

I used my living social deal to get my tattoo and Michael was great! It didn’t take away the pain but the work is beautiful!

Just got home. Very happy with the tattoo. Bella did a great job. Excellent artist, great taste in music. I’m going back so she can add a touch of color in a couple weeks to complete the piece. Definitely a place worth checking out if you’re looking to get work done.

Great place for a getting a great tattoo. I was tattooed by Busta and he was very cool and professional. I’m definitely going back to continue to turn the tattoo that I got into a full sleeve.

Just visited Brooklyn Made Tattoo for the first time with my boyfriend, we both got Tatted and couldn’t be happier. Mr. Kaves did mine and Busta did my Boyfriends.
This isn’t our first tattoo’s but can’t imagine going elsewhere for another tattoo. The shop has a vintage «old school» feel with the décor. The prices for the work we received, was extremely reasonable.
We will recommend Brooklyn Made Tattoo to anyone interested in a tattoo!!!

Kaves and the staff at brooklyn tattoo were AMAZING… kaves has been in this profession not only as a tattoo artist but also designed backdrops for automaker jaguar and also created a design for a wine company which appeared on several wine bottles. kaves was also feautured on several tattoo magizines as well. Kaves is a talented tattoo artist who shares a deep passion in the art of tattooing… the level of detail and precision he has done in creating tattoos from scratch is PHENOMINAL… he does his work with pride and has been in the game for many years… ive had a great experience with this business and i definitely look forward to getting more tattoos from brooklyn tattoo in the years to come!

I have been getting tattooed by Damien for years, but I recently had my first trip to Brooklyn Made and the whole experience was great. First off, the shop is absolutely beautiful, an old converted barber shop, complete with a barber’s pole and chairs! Huge windows let in lots of sunlight, and they even played oldies music all day. It was the most relaxing tattoo experience I’ve ever had, made even more so by Damien’s super chill personality and gentle, professional demeanor. My lotus flower looks amazing, with vibrant colors and great attention to detail. I booked my next appointment before I even left, I can’t wait to go back for more!

Just got my second tattoo from Damien at brooklyn made tattoos. I couldn’t be happier with the quality and I can’t wait to finish it up. I have been getting work done by Mr. Kaves since he first started tattooing years ago at his first shop Tuff City — Brooklyn Ink, when he was working in the back of his clothing store and current day in his awesome shop Brooklyn Made Tattoos. Over the years Kaves has put in over 25+ hours of work on my body and all works were great collaborative experiences. He did my entire back, my chest, collar bone, and stomach. Some of which have been featured in magazines. I had my most recent work done on 9÷30÷11 and it was as good an experience as any of the others.
If you don’t know about Kaves… he is a NYC art living legend and his talent and experience continues to grow. No one does better NY cityscape than he does and his lettering is unique and second to none. He also has his own style of doing characters and portraits. His art is known and respected by some of the greatest artists in the world.
If you want a one of a kind uniquely done piece of art inked on your body I highly recommend sitting down and talking with Mr. Kaves. He’ll take care of you. He even looked me out big time when Freddy Negrete (very talented OG LA tattoo artist) was visiting his shop. He knew I wanted a piece done on my left arm and Freddie was just the person to do it. He opened his shop on his day off so I could sit with Freddie and get it done before I had to travel for work and miss out on that opportunity.
I honestly can’t say enough about the respect I have for his work and for him as a person.

Just got my 3^rd tattoo from Kaves and once again — amazing. Great looking shop with a classic vibe and Kaves proves that his graffiti history translates to great tattoos. Highly recommended!

looked in the other day after almost a year or so of seeing it & reading about its opening in some mag while back. Didn’t get anything I’ll admit but for what its worth its a very VERY professional & clean looking Establishment. The guy a TRIED to talk to wasn’t very personable thought for a dude who’s communication skills should be a bit ore finely tuned by now to be a bit more… well…personable.

It has been awhile since I wrote a review, but this little gem in Brooklyn needs a shout-​out for several reasons. One, it is a very orginal shop with a Brooklyn legend at the helm — Kaves, from «Lordz of Brooklyn» the 90’s hip/​hop group that is still on the scene. Anyway, besides awesome Brooklyn apparel and gear — Kaves is a fantastic artist, and tattoo artist. I just got a fantastic NY piece — and that really is the key to this place. It is authentic, awesome NY — and his tattoo art S-​C-​R-​E-​A-​M-​S Brooklyn authenticity — all original, great street scenes, graffitti style lettering and more.
Of course like any tattoo shop I am sure he does flash, and what not. But don’t go here for flash, go to this very clean, very nice, bright shop for a kick-​ass, authentic NYC piece of art — by a legend of the hop/​hop and graffitti scene.

The shop is very clean, he uses disposable needles, he is very cool, patient and makes you feel at ease. I have been tattooed 3 times before and Mike (Kaves) was a great experience. Of course the quality matters, and it is all there. Great lines, great technique.
I know it is a bit far to travel for lazy manhattanites — you can go to the packed east village tattoo shops — but if you want an original piece, from an artist — get your ass to Bay Ridge. Check out the site and Youtube — you can google Kaves Tattoo and you’ll find a video with several pics.
By the way — the tattoo shop is on the 93^rd street side, not on 3^rd avenue.
