This place is a wonderful cheese/cured meat purveyor — but their sandwiches are what I go for. If you can handle a little heat, get the spicy turkey. It’s smoky, salty, intensely savory, gooey, and is balanced really well with some acid/crunch from the spicy slaw and pickled jalapeño. If you’re feeling more into savory/sweet, they have a grilled cheese with fig and bacon. Crisp, melty and goddamned delicious. Their pressed sandwiches are pretty pretty slick with grease, but I think it’s probably bacon fat. Nothing wrong with bacon fat. They also deliver quickly within the area. Order up a spicy turkey, root beer and some McClures pickle slices on the side. Eat up while it’s hot with some football on the tube. An awesome lazy Sunday.

Unreal breakfast for a place without seats. After waiting about 10 – 15 minutes(felt like a really long time) for their grits bowl topped with egg, bacon and pesto, and egg/cheese biscuit with spicy butter, I was so contented that I wanted to walk back in and start a slow clap. Bravo my friends. Until next time, and then again and again.

I can’t say enough good things about this place. The breakfast biscuits are the reason I wake up on Saturday morning. The bacon buttermilk salad will make your toes curl. All of the cheese! Seriously, I bring a soft cheese from Campbell’s to any gathering that matters. Their banana pudding is amazing, they have specialty vegetables and they have duck eggs! I don’t necessarily grocery shop here, but sometimes I deserve it ;)

headline: Never knew this level of joy could be experienced so early in the day. Body: for years I’ve been perfecting my breakfast sandwich recipe: trialling and erroring Different ingredients, egg cooking methods, and styles. Then something stopped me in my tracks: the campbells biscuit breakfast sandwich. I have now tasted the sweet, sweet nectar of supremacy and have officially ended my life long quest. Or is this just the beginning of a new journey? A campbells lead journey? Of life, love, and the endless pursuit of all that is and all that will be: the perfect breakfast sandwich. Only tell will tell. P. S. Get the grits!

Cheese, cheese, cheese and meat. SO good. It has become a tradition for my husband and I to always have cheese and meats for our guests when they come over to pair with some vino before heading out to dinner. Campbell does not disappoint. They have a great variety of cheeses which you get to sample before you buy. The staff is so friendly and helpful and know their stuff! The speck and proscuitto di parma are fantastic pairings with the cheese. They never disappoint. Even better, is when I do not have time to run up the block to go, i can pop online and they will deliver. What’s not to love?

I absolutely love this little market in our neighborhood. I’m a fan of their breakfast biscuits, their grocery selection, and of course, their cheeses. This is where I discovered one of my all-time favorites, Oma. I also praise them for the AMAZINGQUALITYOFSERVICE I received for a CATERING order I placed with them a couple of weeks ago. I was planning a party for a coworker of mine who was celebrating 40 years of working with the company. I knew I wanted to go Spanish theme since she began her career in Madrid. Campbell custom tailored the cheese and charcuterie board to fit my theme, highlighting Spanish cheeses, Serrano ham, and Seville Orange Tortas. They were responsive to all my inquiries and accommodating — they even got in early that day of the event so I could pick it up before they opened — how special! Needless to say, the presentation of the boards were beautiful and was quickly gobbled up by our guests. A special shout-out to Allison Hess who helped make our event a memorable one!

One of the absolute best places to get cheese. The tuna sandwich is one of my all all time favorites.

This cheese shop is amazing. The people behind the counter are cool, knowledgeable, and passionate about cheese. My girlfriend and I came in and tasted a bunch of samples and then bought a half pound of various cheeses. This was the best cheese I’ve had in my life.

This place is clearly a neighborhood favorite. From the décor to the amazing staff, I was extremely impressed. The store is full of unique EVERYTHING! Take every possible grocery item you know and turn it up a notch, and that’s Campbell’s. And the best part is that every single thing I’ve purchased here has been delicious. Clearly great taste from their buyers. But the food. Oh my. Cold brew coffee– smooth, great way to start the morning. Biscuits– large, and unique recipe. Very fresh. Hard to describe– just get one. Cinnamon buns– I think they just started offering these, but DEF. get one. I didn’t know I needed a cinnamon bun in my life until they let me sample theirs. So hard to resist. Ricotta & Pesto Sandwich– YUM!!! Every single choice of every single ingredient was perfection. The vinaigrette that comes through the ricotta/pesto mix is anything that you could ever want in a veggie sandwich. Plus perfectly caramelized carrots? And not to mention, the bread just brought it home. I highly doubt that there’s a bad choice in any of their sandwich options, but I’m happy that I got this. Not too heavy– love love loved it.

Great variety of cheese products and general store items for you everyday cooking or drinking needs. They also make sandwiches and desert items. You have to try the banana bread. The prices are high but it’s an artisan store. The only issue I had was that I bought a baguette and it was hard as a rock.

The beeeest breakfast sandwiches are found here. The BEST! The biscuits they come in are truly special. I haven’t ordered anything else from the store but the other sandwiches and salads sound great. They do sell various specialty and locally sourced fruits, cheeses, and drinks(coffee is Toby’s Estate). Overall a very cute specialty store. BUTGETTHEBREAKFASTSANDWICHES!

A vast array of treats, including cheeses and breads. Very friendly staff, mellow atmosphere, and also some rad sandwiches. Definitely on the more expensive side, but worth the extra dollars.

The best-smelling cheese shop I’ve been to in years, with friendly staff and a lot of great non-cheese items, too.

This place is great, the sandwiches are good, the soups are amazing. Everyone is friendly and patient and will let you try whatever you like at the deli. There are some great cured meats and olives. The only reason I’m not giving it a five star rating is some of the grocery items are deceptively expensive. I once accidentally paid $ 15 for a green tea soda. That said, everything is great and the over-priced criticism only applies to the grocery items, not the prepared food. And the breakfast sandwiches are dope. Long live Campbell Cheese & Grocery.

I love Campbell Cheese & Grocery! The staff is extremely friendly and patient. The ladies and gents at the counter in the back take their time with every customer, but acknowledge everyone with a greeting. They’re eager to let you try anything before you choose which meat or cheese you’ll be taking home… Oh, and the meats and cheeses! What a fine selection they have! There’s something for everyone, but my favorite has got to be the Cabot Cheddar. Bries, swiss, everything delicious is behind this magical counter… including a kitchen where they make the tastiest of sandwiches and biscuits! I recently tried the BLT, which was loaded with delicious crispy bacon(not greasy) and tons of beautiful slices of juicy tomato. This sandwich was perfection! The biscuits(up by the counter) are also awesome and served with a heaping slab of buttah. You can’t go wrong with that. I can’t wait to try a breakfast sandwich on one of these things. Campbell’s also has an awesome selection of beers and hard ciders, in addition to non-alcoholic bevvies(like milk from Pittsford Dairy!), artisan chocolates and treats. I could easily blow $ 100 every time I visit Campbell’s…but if I restrict myself to a few quarter pound servings of cheese and a biscuit or two, I can usually walk away without feeling guilty. And once I sink my teeth in, there’s just no room for buyers remorse. Check this place out!

Great sandwiches! Fig bacon grill cheese $ 8.5. Cuban grill cheese $ 8.0. Regular size of bread for sandwich, right portion with all amazing ingredients together. They have coffee, but many goes across to Gimme Coffee & come for the grill cheese sandwiches. With an iced coffee & regular coffee, our bill came to $ 25.00. Small drawback on the sandwich is the greasiness. I do not mind about it because most great grill cheese sandwich required butter on both side to be crispy & heat through the inside ingredients. My taste on the Fig Bacon Grill cheese sandwich is sweet, savory, crispy and gooey cheese put together. In contrast, the Cuban Grilled Cheese has whole grain mustard, thin sliced pickle, cheese and ham together, the taste is more on the sour side. Otherwise, the store is a specialty purveyor store with high markup margin. Its squid ink dried pasta is $ 11/bag and Heirloom tomato is $ 7/lb. They carried a wide very specialized beers and vinegar.

An upscale purveyor of cheese near the Lorimer Street L stop, Campbell Cheese doesn’t get the recognition for its sandwiches that Meat Hook across the street, or even the meat bombs that come out Graham Avenue Meats and Deli, but it’s nearly as tasty. There are no seats, which means that the best place to enjoy the well-crafted sandwiches are the nearby stoops(come during warm weather and hope the neighbors remain pleasant. While waiting for the sandwich to be prepared get ready for some serious temptation and the cheeses from near and far, priced for those with a healthy six figure salary. When cheese is priced by the faction of the pound, watch out. But if the cheese on offer is anything like what’s in the Italian sandwich — watch out, it might be worth working 60 hours in a week. Spicy and savory with each bite, every ingredient is perfectly proportioned and immaculately sourced. With its natural light and country inn trimmings, Campbell’s could easily come off a Martha Stewart Living cliché. Thankfully the people behind this place has brought her attention to detail to deliver a superior product.
