This is a review for the MIAMI location. First of all 5 people ordered the buffalo crisp and received a different sandwich. The waiter took our order and wrote down that two of the people in our group were allergic to onion. We got something else not the sandwiches we ordered. They were chicken sandwiches(with onions) and fatty pastrami. That same night 4 out of 6 people got sick! The staff was unapologetic and having had such great experiences in ny I expected more. Not sure how they will redeem themselves after this.

Walked to restaurant that is reported open and this guy stops me and says we’re closed and is following me to make sure I don’t enjoy enter or go anywhere near the establishment! Disgusting behavior

The selling point of this store are the sauces, and they are so cheap on them. They now don’t let you take them yourself from the middle of the restaurant. Instead they hand it to you, and their small containers are filled up half way. They also only give you a few containers per order. I went this past week and after I made a large order and was ready to pick up the ready food I asked for sauces and they told me they didn’t have any at all!!! I canceled my order. I was so mad why wouldn’t they tell me before I ordered that they don’t have the only thing it’s worth going there for. How could you have chicken nuggets without sauce. My wife went once before and she said the same thing happened to her. The sauce man

Walked in and no one is there to seat you or tell you to go to the cash register to order. I ordered the Brisket tacos with rice and beans. The Brisket tacos were so delicious, the rice was so so. The refried beans had no flavor and tasted like they came out of a can. There is maybe one place like this in Los Angeles. I would come back again and try something different.

I don’t usually eat kosher because meat and cheese is my life but this place isn’t bad. The organization I use to work for had their staff dinners here and I didn’t mind coming at all. The burgers are good and so are the chicken tenders. The avacado ranch is crazy good.

Food is good. Decent for the price. In store I found that it can take a while until the food is ready(for take out, I have never eaten in, looks pretty dirty). That said when I placed a very large order for our office lunch, they were accomodating, easy to deal with via email and everything was delivered exactly at the time requested.(We are not located near their diner). They also sent everything as we ordered which was a first for all places we’ve ordered from(each one forgot something else). My only recommendation is that when sending out such a large order to label the items, when everything came we had to open each item to decide what it was and who had ordered it.

I would write a review but I waited and hour and a half and the food never came. Thats after they assured me it was on the way. Clearly a very poor run establishment. I wouldn’t want to find out what else they’re messing up.

It’s places like that make me one step closer to renouncing my Judaism! They pretend I’m ordering a soup and deny me of my nachos by sternly looking at me and staying«no nachos for you» Bathrooms discriminate against anyone not named Carlos Juan Maria or Carmen inviting people only who look like they clean my house or wash my car With an all male staff comparable to Chris Griffin its no surprise to how clueless they are on what they have on their own menu and what I am trying to order directly off it! The prices make a jean George restaurant look cheap and are purposely crossed out to rob you blind! Bottom line I give it a a year until they close, I’m sure the health inspectors would agree with me.

Looks may be deceiving but don’t pass this place up just because they need a new paint job. Food was so good and service was quick. Definitely my new go to spot when I need some nachos!

This was a first, watching the waitress spit something out of her mouth into the garbage(I hope). Then she yelled to several members of the staff while she ate. This encouraged other staff to shout out to her. No sorry for the disruption or embarrassment for spitting. I’ll never return. PS floor and walls are dirty.

Ah, what can I say about Carlos and Gabby’s? First of all, I always say that this is like the kosher version of Chili’s. Not exactly Mexican, not exactly American, but as mentioned below, this place is a glatt kosher Mecca(or Yerushalayim, if you will) of American casual divey dining, along the lines of party food. All they need to do is start making tacky, cheesy margaritas and other frozen drinks in obscenely-sized glasses to sweeten the deal. As far as the food, they offer several things to the kosher consumer that are rather proprietary and amazingly unique to the establishment; where else can you get kosher Jalapeño poppers stuffed with tofutti parve cream cheese, or a «taco» filled with decidedly non-Mexican contents(I never know what to make of the«chabibi» taco filled with tahini, Israeli pickles, and shawarma meat, but this crazy amalgam somehow works perfectly). The Kansas City steak soup, not Mexican or Tex-Mex, is nonetheless pretty good, as are the«southwest eggrolls.» Kind of like a taquito, only better. My favorite thing on the menu is the rib platter; these ribs are fall apart tender, melt in the mouth, and accompanied by fries, cole slaw, and a lovely medley of sauteed vegetables, it’s a rather reasonably priced plate, at around $ 15. I am also very fond of another unique menu item, The Godfather hero, a delicious glatt kosher Italian hero you cannot find anywhere else. The dressing and peppers on the sandwich make it yummy and a delicious find. After writing this review, I’m hungry and wishing for ribs, an Italian hero, and some crispy chabibis.

This place is so bad. Walk in, look at weird menu, wait for cashier to acknowledge me. After a minute, I ask, «Are you open?» He takes my order. Walks to other register and asks me to repeat myself. Got matzoh ball gumbo, no matzoh. Steak taco had nothing going for it. All tables were filthy. Regret on a plate.

Rude, nasty service — apparently they do customers a favor — not the other way around. Food poisoning was the cherry on top after two or three bites of that bland food. Hindsight is 20⁄20. Should’ve run out the door when I saw how unkept this place is. Definitely money wasted. Unilocal should come up with zero stars.

My friends and I came into this«restaurant» looking to get a heavenly meal of Mexican goodness. Yuck. The«managers» at the front area were unkempt and barely acknowledge our small group, after we stood there while he finished his important conversation. We went to the back to sit down, where we noticed the disgusting furniture, open trash cans and unclean walls. We had friends that were really hungry, so I felt bad. We went up to the front to order and took a look at the scribbled-out menu(just get new menus!). «What else?» was the response after I told the employee what we wanted. «What else?» «What else?». The food was edible — the beef had a lot of fat in it, though, and the«chips» and salsa were under-par. Some friends ate some and threw the rest in the open garbage cans. None of us ate everything. I’m ashamed that we wasted money at their establishment. They need new management now.

Absolutely horrendous. Lets start off with the fact that I called to get the address and the employee who answered the phone replied«I don’t know, I live across the street». Oh okay. I decided to give this place a chance regardless of the incompetent employee who answered the phone. When I went into the restaurant there was utter chaos. The employees were all arguing with each other and paid no mind to their customers. The place is run by 15 year olds. One of them wearing socks which displayed marijuana plants… very professional and appropriate for a restaurant where people bring their families. They were running around and arguing with each other. The«manager» at the counter didn’t even greet us or make eye contact. After attempting to decipher the menu we ordered some tacos and wraps. We sat down and then the fun began. My dear friend tried to use the bathroom and low and behold there was a man in there cleaning, didn’t even lock the door. He shouts«HOLDON!». The impression I got from this place was that everyone behaved like they were in the comfort of their own homes. We go back to our table. There is no organization or process for getting your food after you’ve ordered it. They give you this obnoxious buzzer that alerts you when each item is individually ready. From what I gathered, you go up to the counter to retrieve your food. but when I did the 12 year old that works there said«Oh I’ll bring it to you». oh okay so whats the point of the buzzer? When we were done we didn’t even know if we had to throw away our plates or if someone picks up after us or what. this place was ran like the Mcallisters house in Home Alone. There was no garbage pails so we just brought our plates to a table closest to the counter. This place is a barn. The service is the worst I have ever experienced in all my years of eating out. Overpriced for lousy service and sub-par food. I will never step food in this«establishment» ever again.

best spot in the immediate area to just pig out on tons and tons of American-style Mexican food. I think the giant sombrero on the restaurant’s façade says it all: don’t go looking for authentic stuff, but if you want to fill up on guac and burritos at your level of spicy(things come mild, and there’s a counter full of sauce you can use to spice things up, plus free water to cool things down a bit) I recommend getting your meal in a tortilla bowl. go nuts.

This place has gone down in quality. We will not order or go there again. The Brooklyn restaurant was always less in quality than the queens on but it is so far below now(I really hope the queens one isn’t this bad) that it’s atria hours My wife got the ranchero and I got the bbq beef club. Both had less than half the food in it. The bread it came in was almost double the amount of food in it. We have ordered from there before and it’s really sad that they are cutting corners by cutting down on the food size. And this is after they have raised prices!!! The owner of the store needs to stop this before people really stop going and forces them to shut down.
