So I’ve never had many occasions to visit this chipotle location just simply because I don’t go to, and/or shop at kings plaza. Because I had to meet my soon there, this is my second time visiting this Chipotle. So most Unilocalers, myself included, are quick to write a negative review. I can only speak for my own experience and and it was nothing less than excellent. Did my usual routine and ordered online so my son can do what he needed to do and pick my food up when we were done and leave. Keep in mind I ordered pretty much close to closing time. Approximately 5 – 10 minutes before I was scheduled to pick up my order, I received a phone call from a young lady that works at chipotle, Diamond(sp) is her name, stating they were out of guacamole and fajita veggies and would I still like for her to complete my order? That act right there was very commendable. She was pleasant, mannerable and instead of just giving me an incomplete order, she called first and asked. And when I got to the store they asked for the card I paid with so they could refund the $ 2 for the guacamole. It seems minor but it’s the principality. To me it’s the small things that count. The entire staff I interacted with this evening was wonderful, pleasant and just seemed to be all around great workers who care about those consumers. Great job guys! I will see you again soon!

I am very disappointed about how a worker treated me at this establishment. Good food but poor service. An employee did not pay attention to what I said for my order, I informed her immediately and she added what I wanted without a problem. However, while doing this, another employee came to me with an attitude ‘asking if that was it’ and made a sarcastic apology to the customers behind me who had JUST arrived about my inconvenient order, disregarding the fact that I was waiting for 10 minutes for someone to take my order and there were no customers behind me. Service here sucks.

Horrible experience the employees were playing and not paying attention to the order. Making obscene gestures to one another which made me feel uncomfortable. I wouldn’t go back again unless the employees were under proper supervision. I love chipotle but this experience just overshot my love for it. Needs to be fixed.

It’s Chipotle, so let’s be real here, you are not going to be getting quality food. The employees here do not use a service exit to take out the trash, instead they drag it through the front door which is a health code violation. Stay far away from this location!

I love chipotle but they have some terrible customer service. Very rude people working here. Food is good though so I’ll be coming back. Lines get extremely long so be prepared to do some waiting.

Visited this chipotle to try my first burrito bowl and use my buy one get one coupon from their game. The lines are very long and when it was my turn to order, the staff weren’t paying attention. I would tell them what I want, but then they would just pass my bowl to the next person in line, which was no use. The workers my bowl was passed to just stared at me, waiting for me to say something even though they didn’t ask me anything. It was very confusing to order, but the food isn’t bad. It isn’t my favorite, but it was pretty reasonable with the buy one get one offer($ 9 for two chicken burrito bowls and no guac).

This place is horrible. The service is horrible and they seem to always get my order messed up. Then when I ask for them to redo it, the employees have an attitude and role their eyes at me. But the employees are not just rude when they mess up your order, but in general. They give you an attitude one certain employee spike under her breath and not just to me, but also the lady in front of me

This chipotle is terrible. Chipotle in general hasn’t been as good as before, but this one just turns me off from chipotle in general. Some of the workers are rude, some very nice. Food isn’t cooked too well. Runs out of some items such as beans and salad dressing. Just the worst chipotle you can go to

Three stars because it’s a Chipotle and Chipotle is awesome. Two stars off because all the food is the same so my only thing to base it off is the atmosphere and the service, both of which are a little awful. Well, the atmosphere I can’t really say is too awful– almost every Chipotle is the same layout but it is kind of dirty, although there are enough seats. This is probably also one of the few Chipotle’s in this area of Brooklyn, although I am anticipating the Kings Highway Chipotle grand opening. So yeah, I guess this will suffice. It’s in an awkward place in the mall though, in the corner near Macy’s and next to McDonald’s. The line isn’t too long like on a weekday(post school hours). As for the service — it’s not that it’s bad, like the staff is really nice. It’s just that they’re pretty confused. Here’s what I encountered: Staff asking me what I wanted on my chicken bowl(then to only realize that was not mine and it was the person in front of me’s salad bowl); Another diner waiting for their sour cream on the side and then placing it on my tray; My friend asking for chips and guac five times, and then after I paid, saying I owe them $ 13, even though it was two separate orders.

The food looked horrible and fake. I think it maybe had unnatural ingredients. I took one bite and had to throw away the rest of my food with guacamole(that’s a lot of money). The customer service was horrible. They all had an attitude. I would never come back here again. Too bad I can’t get a refund. BEWARE everyone!!!

The food was burnt and dried up compared to the other chipotle locations I have been to. The line was just plain awful, I had to wait for 20 minutes until they took my order and there was no seating room. I was quite surprised, so if your looking for food in Kings Plaza I would not recommend going here :(

I have been a fan of Chipotle for little two years now after working in midtown and being able to have a fair amount of Chipotle spots next to my office. I was excited that Chipotle was expanding their Brooklyn exposure in the past year with the opening of the new establishment in Bay Ridge and Kings Plaza in addition to their existing grill in downtown Brooklyn. I came to Kings Plaza on a Sunday and saw the line for Chipotle was reasonable and decided to grab a bite to eat. Out of all the Chipotle establishments I have been to this is the absolute worst and needs to be shut down if not for lack of service but for health reasons. This place is disgusting, let me tell you why. So I am on the usual line and when I get to the front I order a chicken burrito. As I am standing on line getting my burrito made I start noticing the violations on the grill, improper use of raw meat utensils, staff talking over the food, what appeared to be stale/spoiled food, ingredients mixed and dropped in out containers(ie tomatoes floating in the sour cream bucket). Granted I came in at 5pm, however nothing looked fresh, everything(sour cream, guac) looked like it was stored at wrong temperatures or just left out all day. The floors, un-mopped, the counterspace dirty and filled with what appeared to be excess food stains, the window guard covered with finger prints. this is not the chipotle I know. I was not eating this food. I was about to complain to management, or ask them what was going on. However, I thought to myself what was the point. The«staff«, if you can call them that, looked unmotivated and in their own world. Three of the staff were having their own conversation, talking profanity most of the time and I thought to myself, why even waste my time. When the girl looked at me and said«What do you want on this?» I pulled«oh I forgot my wallet, let me go get it and come back», and I ran off the line and right out the door. There are several issues with this particular establishment. Management(if there is any here) have to do a better job on keeping up with the activity and health code regulations, not just in the morning but through out the entire day. The staff needs to be trained and educated in customer service. This is a bad example of Chipotle, if this was a first impression of the chain from this establishment then I would think they were all like this. Not for nothing, visiting this chain, leaves a bad taste and corporate needs to step in and do something or better yet shut it down. Clearly a 1-star place, step it up or shut it down, either way, I am never going back again.

Food was good. My burrito was a great size. The line was extremely long but moved at a decent pace. But this is the first chipotle I’ve ever been to that gives plastic cups when you ask for a Water Cup. The worst part of my visit was that is was so crowded you that if you dined in you had to share a table with a stranger. Otherwise it was good.

Use the Chipotle app & order online! I’ve been waiting forever for a Chipotle in this area! Sure it’s not the best, but what do you expect it’s in Kings Plaza of all places. I’ve been twice. Both times I used the app to order. Using the app is easy. Make sure you check your bag before you leave. They forgot my drink last time and I was half way out of the mall before I realized and had to turn back. You’re damn right I turned back for my Izze, them things is expensive. Skipping the whole line to pick up your food is the best feeling ever! I’ve never sat down to eat & I probably never will. Who sits & eats at the mall? Take that shit to go!

Came in on sunday. Not too busy. Staff took my order quickly and accurately. The area was clean and organized. Condiments were accessable. I was even able to drink my Starbucks Coffee in the restaurant, which was pretty cool. Most restaurants(fast food or not) won’t let you bring in other food or beverages. Some other people had Nathan’s.

So outraged by the service that the first thing I did when I got home was write a Unilocal review. South Brooklyn has been waiting a LONG time for Chipotle to open in the area. The closest Chipotle is all the way in downtown Brooklyn and ain’t nobody got the time to travel 45 minutes to get there. I arrived at around 4pm, which is not even a lunch rush anymore. It was so disorganized. The line ran around the restaurant to the soda machines(next to the register). I understand that it’s only been a few days since its grand opening, but I cannot even begin to describe how terrible the service was. It’s like the employees had no training whatsoever. 1) I clearly asked for two burrito bowls, but the woman set out two tortillas. When I corrected her, she threw both into the trash… what a waste. 2) I printed a BOGO coupon from the Internet, and it was not honored. I asked the cashier before I waited 20 minutes on line, and she said yeah, probably. No. It did not. When I finally got to the register, it took three different people to tell me that my coupon was invalid. I had to pay $ 18, when I was expecting to pay half the price. And that same cashier gave me a snotty attitude afterwards. Not appreciated. 3) I asked the employee who was bagging my food for a cup of water. She did not give it to me. She did not bother to tell me that there weren’t any left nor did she ask another employee to get more. I asked the cashier kindly for a cup of water and again she gave me an attitude. She asked a girl who was just standing there to get more cups of water. But this girl said, «I’m on break until 4:35, so don’t bother me.» Excuse you… 4) My chicken was BURNT. It was like I was eating charcoal. No no no no no. Just no. TL;DRDON’T BOTHERWITHTHISPLACE. Convenience is not worth this shitty service. I’d rather take the train to the city for an hour to get better service. These workers don’t deserve to be paid what they’re getting paid. It’s like a slap in the face to Chipotle’s loyal customers with this crap service and the price hikes.
