Called the number and got a recording saying the place is no longer in business.

One of the best Polish restaurants in Greenpoint and Brooklyn. Hands down. White Borscht. Cheese Pierogis covered in delicious onions. Potato Pancakes. Cheese Blintzes. Stuffed Cabbage. Oh dear lord, I’m drooling. Excuse me– getting on the G. Need CinaMoon now.

Great food. It’s hard to find ethnic foods like Polish Food and still have a nice mix of conventional dishes that everyone can enjoy. Well this is the place. Enjoy! I did.

I went with a friend for dinner and had a great meal. The food is delicious, I had the Polish platter, and very well priced. The portions were sized just right to try a little of everything without feeling too full. I would go back for the pierogis alone. The service was very prompt, granted we were one of two tables in the entire restaurant. The décor lacks charm, but the food makes up for it.

It was my first time here and absolutely loved the food, I love Polish food and this definitely satisfied my craving! Had the polish platter and needless to say I will be returning in the near future!

Food was pretty good, not the best, but the service was more than bad to make up for it. Stopped in on a Sunday evening and while the place was clearly not busy, took nearly 20 minutes for them to take our order. Once they did, another 20 or so for the food, and after we were done, another 45! for us to get our check. Never once did they refill our waters, ask us how the food was, or if we wanted anything else. Even after asking for the check it took nearly 15 minutes to get it. In a neighborhood with so many other Polish options, and better ones, I won’t be going back. Maybe that was their goal?

We discovered Cinamoon Restaurant while in the area. Greenpoint has always been one of my hubby’s favorite food neighborhoods. He likes to explore new places and I didn’t think there would be anything new worth trying. But I was wrong. The food service and value were all on point. We only ordered basic dishes not knowing the reputation of the restaurant. We shared it. We didn’t order dessert but we would like to next time. The only dessert I saw on the menu that day was a Strawberry blintz. I like strawberry blintzes so I will go back and try it at some point. The menu was very extensive. Something for everybody. The fish we ordered was fresh but a little oily for my tastes other than that the meal was wonderful! The Polish Platter was just as good as any other in the area. The meals all come with Sauerkraut and Beets. The restaurant was very clean and service was friendly and professional.

Eh. I wasn’t incredibly pleased that they didn’t tell me there would be an extra charge to make a substitution. All their Polish dishes come with mashed potato, which has butter so I can’t eat it(I’m lactose intolerant) — and the waitress suggested a different side instead but didn’t tell me that there would be an extra charge for it. So I guess any meal I get there will always have to be more expensive for the same amount of food.

This is hands down the best Polish restaurant in Greenpoint. Lots of the Polish restaurants in Greenpoint have fell by the way side in the quality of food they serve lately. This restaurant never disappoints. The Steak Tartar is heavenly. When you see the dish at first, you think what the hell is this. They don’t mix the onions, mustard and pickles into the meat. They leave that up to you to do. Plus a nice raw egg on the top.

I have been to Cinamoon three times now. Every time has been a very good experience. Having a Polish girlfriend I appreciate they offer traditional dishes as well as some new polish and non traditional offerings. Service has always been outstanding. The hungarian pancakes are outstanding. Very tasty goulash with a crispy potato pancake. The nalesniki or polish style crepes were a great way to finish a very good meal!

I’ve never had Polish food before, and this place made me glad I decided to try it. My fiancée and I went there on a Saturday evening. The waiter was quick, attentive and pleasant. We ordered the tripe soup and home-style lard. The tripe soup was very good, rich and hearty, and the tripe itself was very tender. The lard was served with some toasted bread and pickles. It was a good start. For our entrée, we shared a Polish platter. It had meatloaf, 3 kinds of peirogi, a stuffed cabbage, some polish sausage, mashed potatoes and some beet salad, and cabbage salad. All of the food including the sides, were delicious. Our favorite was the stuffed cabbage. It was bursting with meaty goodness and was slathered in a really great, creamy mushroom sauce. We washed it down with a Polish beer whose name escapes me at the moment, but was pretty good as well. All in all, an awesome meal and all that for less than $ 30. We don’t get around to that part of Brooklyn a lot but i’m pretty sure we’ll find our way there a bit more often now, as we also discovered a nice lounge/bar that same night.

Visited weekday afternoon. It was pretty much empty. Big space. Nice decoration. Fun Music. Started with Red Borscht With Dumplings. Didn’t care for the soup but the dumpling were ok. Went for the Polish sampler: 3 pirogis of different filling, stuffed cabbage, meatball, sausage with salad. It was great. For desert we had cheese blinches — sweet cheese wrapped like crêpe with strawberry sauce — delicious. Total $ 24 for 2 people — Great value, high quality food. Can’t wait to return to try the Three Meat In Blintzes. Recommended!

Cinamoon is a great place for great food at great prices. There is a nice variety of traditional Polish dishes and dishes with a modern twist. The pierogi are delicious and the tripe soup is perfectly seasoned. The service is spot on with the waiters being very attentive to their customers and setting the right atmosphere for an enjoyable meal.

This place is wonderful. My friend and I came in here hoping for a quick, cheap meal in a free hour. The atmosphere was nice, the service was good, and the food was cheap. We were already pleased before anything even arrived! Then our Polish platter arrived(we decided to share one, with no objections from our server), and we were bowled over by the delicious delicious food. Everything was good, and I tried on that platter with increasing delight. The pierogies were especially yummy, and we had some troubles dividing them between us since there were three and they were so good! All and all, it was a fabulous meal and we both agreed that it was so sad that it didn’t have more customers and positive reviews. Definitely worth checking out!

This place is great, and amazingly cheap for the price. The Hungarian pancakes(two potato pancakes smothered in goulash) are the best I’ve had, great borscht, and and delicious potato pirogi. Everyone at my table was gushing over the food, and couldn’t believe how cheap it was when the check came. My only critique is of the salad bar(mediocre), but it was free so that’s hardly a detractor. The owners served us and were lovely. We’ll definitely go back to support them, and if you’re looking for tasty, inexpensive polish food, you should too.

Great food, great service, and great value. I come here practically everyday, and pretty much everything on the menu is amazing. I’d say their pierogies are probably the best in the area(and there are a LOT of polish restaurants) — I think their entrees are even better. My top three recommendations: three meats in a blintz with cheese; baked sea bass; and chicken cutlet(amazing!) I highly highly recommend this restaurant!

This is a great place for hearty, affordable polish meals. My brother and sister both had the Polish platter– huge servings of food, plus free salad! I wouldn’t call the food gourmet, but it is definitely made with care. It is pretty relaxed and a liquor store is at the end of the block, so BYOB it is. Perfect for a large comfort meal at a great price point– 5 stars for the value.
