We just arrived a week ago and had to wait for the keys to our apartment. While we were sitting on the front stoop the most amazing smells were coming from this little deli. We went down to get lunch and it was magic. The owners, help, and various neighborhood folks are so kind! That day we couldn’t tell what exactly smelled so good, possibly the chicken or possibly the bacon. I had the BLT. It was on crunchy toasted bread and just perfect!
Since then we have been many times and will go out of our way to buy our groceries here if they stock them.
After a week they have made us feel part of the neighborhood.
