I usually order from this location, but today will be the last time! The employee was obscenely rude to me when I was trying to simply pay for my order. Not only did he yell at me, but he also got my order wrong after I repeated myself three times! I’ve never had such a rude encounter at a Dunkin Donuts! If I could rate with 0 stars I would. The employees need some serious attitudes training. I’ll be taking my business elsewhere thank you very much.

I was in here Christmas Eve after going to a nearby church for service. It was around 6:15PM. I ordered the chicken apple sausage sandwich. When I got it, it was hot and fresh. It tasted decent like I remembered I had a few times from other locations. Since it was rather empty service was quick.

I’ve been visiting this location for 7+ years and this is the friendliest DD I’ve ever visited. The longtime staff here always get my order right and run a very friendly and clean franchise. As of a few weeks ago this location is also open 24/7, which is great for the neighborhood.

I wish I could give it 0 stars… went in and asked for hot water for a baby bottle. Offered to purchase a donut or something else but they said no. We asked if we could buy tea and have just the water and they said no they are told by the owners that they have to put the tea bag in. I asked if hot water really cost them anything and he said the owners made it a policy that they cant give hot water to anyone. Thats so messed up and ridiculous. Had to flag down the manager to talk to us, but not after he ignored us first and slowly went to wash his hands and dry them and then turn around with a smirk on his face. Smh… horrible customer service and company policies.

Their bathroom NEVER has toilet paper. Like I am assuming they don’t even buy toilet paper. The only reason I would ever go to a Dunkin Donuts is to buy a cheap shitty coffee I’m not even going to drink because the place I like to go do work doesn’t have a bathroom and I have never found toilet paper in their bathroom. It’s disgusting and seriously, the bathroom says it is for paying customers only so it’s not like they have to worry about people using the bathroom without buying stuff so why can’t they clean their bathroom and buy toilet paper for the people who actually spend money there?

I had one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had in my life at this location. I went in on a hot Saturday afternoon with a few friends and ordered some ice cream at the Baskin-Robbins. We had the ice cream there and before going out, my friends asked the person behind the desk for some tap water. I do not understand why, but they were extremely hesitant to give any of their paying customers water. I have never been to any place in this country where you can be denied a cup of water, but apparently that is the norm here. When asking for water, the person told my friends that they will not under any condition permit more than 2 cups of water. They gave two of my friends one cup of water each, and when I tried to ask for a cup of water — NO. A stern, harsh, mean NO was the answer. I was dazed and confused at first, because I have never seen anyone in the customer service /food service industry being so rude to a paying customer, and especially over such a simple thing as asking for a small cup of water. The service was absolutely deplorable. I should have asked for my money back because a place where the management tolerates such employees and has policies that denies paying customers simple service like cups of water does not deserve to be in business or have have clients going in. I have never written a bad review for bad service, but I think this particular case deserves one. I am also raising issue with the DD /BR corporate office, but I think the Greenpoint /Yelp community should be aware of this as well! TL;DR — Rude service, employees will deny paying customers a cup of water — so make sure you bring your own if you get thirsty!

A block away from the G train and a couple blocks from my job. Ample room, nice light but seriously can you get my order right… at least once? It’s not like my order is super complicated. Medium coffee, skim milk, two sugars right? But it’s DD so you forgive.

So I’m a nice person. I’m polite to service people, am friendly to vile, generally hated co-workers and even give directions to tourists. I ask DD guy for an iced coffee with milk and Splenda(which I ALWAYSALWAYSALWAYS ask for) while he’s flirting and laughing with girl behind register but realize as I’m going out the door that there’s sugar instead of Splenda and go back to dude and say perfectly pleasantly«I’m sorry, there’s sugar in this» and dude goes, «yeah, you said milk and sugar» and I say, «no, I’m sorry, I said Splenda.» So he’s making my new drink while CONTINUING to INSIST that I said sugar. WHY!!! Why on earth would you continue to insist that your customer is wrong? Especially when a) they’re so not wrong and b) they were 100% polite and pleasant in pointing out your error? Worst part was that the girl who was the one that actually took my money completely knew that I had asked for Splenda and just didn’t want to shame the dude who was older and maybe a manager or something.

Good location, not too difficult to find parking. The staff here is pretty clean and organized. The ice cream cake variety here is kinda whack and expensive. I ended up getting one anyway because it was a last second thing. I asked the lady to use their piping gel and write«Happy Birthday Alex» and they couldn’t even get that right. Verdict — The line here also moves incredibly slow. Why do people hire dummies who can’t count, return a customer’s correct change, and pipe simple words like Happy Birthday?

They made me the best cup of hot chocolate ever. Made it with creamjust how I like it and didn’t question me. Most places do and say how rich it will be… but hey flockers, I like it that way. Staff is friendly and efficient and service is quick.

There was a time when my brother and I would walk here, early each morning, to start the day peacefully before journeying to Manhattan. The donuts were always crisp and fresh, and the coffee dark and scalding hot, its steam snaking into the air and disappearing like Will-o’-the-wisps, thin little clouds fractaling away into the pale winter air. Sun shines through the large windows on each side of the café, rays gliding across the floor slowly as Brooklyn raises its head, groggy from sleep but with bright blinking eyes, steely and strong with possibility and determination. I miss this place, and hopefully we’ll return on some future winter morning, in some future Greenpoint in some future New York City, grey like the sky but brightening steadily like the Brooklyn dawn.

One early morning walking around Greenpoint, I came across this corner DD. Very friendly staff and quick service. Plenty of tables to sit down and enjoy your breakfast. Big windows for people watching.
