Eludz Restaurant and Lounge

This place don’t even deserve one star. The service I beyond trash. The servers are amateurs. They forget orders, take a long time to come back and overall fucking stupid their food is really good but if you don’t have two hrs to waste on just waiting to be seen and ordering DO NOT COME HERE.

They gets no stars 2 little dirty bartender for the start! 2 you have to walk to the bar order your food, then pay for it, 1 bartender tried to keep the change when I asked for it back the attitude started, when the food came out she left it near the bar when they was suppose to bring it to the table !!! The bartenders look so dusty and thirsty ughhhh don’t go here

Went here on a Friday night at first the music was pretty corny but around like 11 or 12 the place was on tilt I’ll decently be going back the bartenders are awesome the drinks are so good and the codfish cakes are to die for

If I could give 0 stars I would, customer service was horrible we came for my birthday dinner before going out! They brought our drinks and they were great however we waited 2 hours for food the manager then told us that the reason why we waited so long was because we were walk ins and didn’t make a reservation he then told us that our order was never placed after we had waited for 2 hours he was very unconcerned that we were unhappy. Would not recommend this place unless you want to wait 2 plus hours for food

Celebrated my sista’s 40^th birthday surprise. The manager was very accommodating for the number of guests I expected to arrive (18). We all enjoyed our meal — presentation, taste, and freshness. The drinks were on on point. The pre-​fix cost was reasonable considering it included 1 alcoholic drink. This also made payment a lot easier at the end of the night. The hostesses were super friendly and efficient. I will definitely return.

Great ambiance, great setting, Excellent DJ, drinks on point, and ladies from wall to wall… my only complaint is the food preparation took way too long even with the heads up from the waiter… definitely would return…

Went here to celebrate a birthday last night. Ordered a Piña Colada, which was pretty good, and a Rasta Pasta with Lobster. For a $ 25 dish, I expected my meal to be loaded with chunks of creamy lobster but I was not impressed! I shared the dish with one of my friends and by the time we started eating we were wondering if they forgot to add the lobster. All we got in our $ 25 dish were three tiny balls of lobster. This dish would have been better if it had more lobster or if they supplemented their shortage of lobster with other seafood.

1÷8÷2016 came here with 2 Friends to eat and celebrate one of my friend visiting the u.s.a.
1 of my friend got there 1^st around 7pm the place was empty, so he went and sat to wait for us for half hour. No one came up to him and asked anything. When. We arrived a server came with menu’s I told her I wanted a Piña colada NO ALCOHOL because I drive behold u brought one with alcohol. I told her no I want NO ALCOHOL she exchanged it ok. So we chatting because it’s been a while we seen each other. She came over 3 times we didn’t decides what we wanted to eat. She ask for 2 of the menu back and left us with one. I was like hell no, we eating somewhere else. So we had 1 drink each there and left. I’ll try it again tho

I love to visit this spot in Brooklyn and whenever I do I always have nothing but a fabulous time. The food is delicious and the portions are big. The waiters are all mannerly and pleasant. Don’t talk about the bartender Astin. I believe he is the manager of the lounge. He is always very pleasant, professional and accommodating. If I did not like something he was good in asking questions of whether you wanted your food or drink replaced. He makes the best drinks and even puts on a little show with drinks flaming in fire. As they say service with a smile. The crowd is a mature crowd which I truly like because as part of the grown and sexy it is not my style to be around the kiddies. The music is on point a mixture of calypso, Reaggae, American, African and Spanish. He dubs everything. The ambience is very classical. Leather chairs and couches, black wooded floors, black and white décor with a touch of contemporary paintings. I always enjoy my time with my friends whenever I come and my heels are always clicking while I am there. Kudos to this place.

As a native New Yorker who now lives out of town, I was looking for an upscale, low-​key spot where I could enjoy great music, eat good food and mingle with a sexy crowd. I was driving solo down Utica Ave in Brooklyn trying to avoid a trip into the city when I spotted Eludz and decided to stop in. What a hidden gem!!!
It’s hard to describe Eludz because it’s an intimate and eclectic mix of lounge, restaurant, sports bar and mini nightclub all in one open floor plan. Yes, I agree that’s very hard to accomplish; but this place has done it! First lets talk about décor. This place has a grown and sexy feel with black and white themed interiors that are dimly lit. The combination of dimmed track lighting and dinner candles create a swanky and comfortable atmosphere where you can really «let your hair down». There is a small balcony overlooking the main floor, an elevated bar with TVs, chairs hanging from the ceiling, comfortable couches, tables for dinner, and open dance space. There is a live DJ playing a tasteful selection of R&B, Reggae, and Hip Hop music from the 80’s through today. To put the finishing touch on the ambience, the staff is dressed professional yet sexy with black and white attire to match the interior theme.
I arrived a bit early for a Saturday night and decided to take a seat by the bar where I could people watch; and see how the crowd progresses throughout the night. The place got more crowded throughout the evening but it was never over stuffed. People were dressed in classy, appropriate attire that ranged from comfortable sweaters and jeans to classy dinner jackets and sexy dresses.
I saw a number of couples enjoying dinner, and a large group of women celebrating a birthday complete with a photographer. On the other side was a large mixed group of men and ladies lounging. Bottle service is extremely popular because I watched both large groups enjoy several rounds. There were a number of single men and couples at the bar watching sports. There was even a cute, quiet couple at the end of bar that appeared to be undercover looking for a «third». It’s wonderful to see a mixed atmosphere where a variety of people can come and be themselves!
Last but not least, the food! I ordered the escovitch fish, which was delicious and extremely authentic. I challenged one of the bar attendants to create something special that wasn’t too sweet, and he came over with blueberry, orange vodka concoction. Check!!! Another male attendant periodically came over to make conversation with me and ensure that I felt at home. Home run!!! After a while, I figured out that one of the attendants was actually the owner. It was great to see that he took pride in ensuring that everyone is appropriately served and having an excellent time.
This place is for everyone – large groups, intimate dates and those wishing to head out solo. Lounges with great ambience, good food and drinks are hard to come by. I highly recommend you check this place out!
