Second time eating from this restaurant. The food is acceptable for a chinese place. The bbq meats ~ chicken, duck, pork, spare ribs, fried pork are pretty good. The place doesn’t indicate that they do delivery, but we ordered four orders plus half a lb of spare ribs so they delivered to us. Very nice of them to do so. They get 4 stars from me as I quite enjoyed the food choices I have chosen from here. The noodle soup are especially good among their dishes.

Not my type of restaurant at all! It is ridiculous to find parking in that neighborhood too so it is not worth going! I came here last night for the first time with the my family and the boyfriend’s family. Service: Like any typical chinese restaurant, the service ends after you order the food and drinks. Food: Most of the dishes were either too salty or bland. Their name is enpire bbq but I did not enjoy the the short ribs they was chewy and salty for taste. The fried tofu dish with the shrimp in the middle had no taste so I was pretty disappointed. There was a goose dish on a bed of green vegetables. I must say the favorite part of the goose dish was the vegetables. The good was pretty dry and over cooked. I pretty much got a sore throat from the food so that summarizes all the food. Ambiance: It was pretty small inside but it was bright and seems new in there. Overall, I wouldn’t personally come back. But if the parents decide to go back, I’ll just give them my two cents on it.

I usually don’t travel down to 8th Avenue Brooklyn Chinatown but we ended up coming here after my mother-in-law’s recommendation. From the looks of the outside, you wouldn’t have any high expectations coming here. Once the food started coming, that’s when you know the real truth comes out whether if it’s good or garbage. To my delight, the food was actually full of flavor, great taste and pleasantly surprising. We ordered a soup that came in a large casserole dish full of vegetables. Then came the large oysters, salt baked squid that was cooked perfectly with the crisp without the massive oily residue, side order of chicken and squid with vegetables. One of the best parts of the night was the tong sui which wasn’t the usual red bean but the clear tapioca with taro instead! That is hard to find, especially in a chinese restaurant. We all walked out very happy with our bellies full. Will definitely be back here again if eating in Brooklyn.

I really want to hate this place because of how it looks(mama taught me well), but can’t bring myself to because the food is so good. Lobster prices have gone up, but you still get a very generous amount. There’s also a taro/fish fillet casserole dish that’s very good, as well as the black pepper steak. It’s cheap, never crowded, and service is fast. But don’t go for the atmosphere!
