Envy Nails

I never write bad reviews unless they’re absolutely necessary & im sorry but this place is a BIG flop. Came with my friend yesterday to get her nails done (came for company & the place only has Hispanic women working, i speak Spanish my friend does not), she asked for a gel manicure. it took the girl literally 15 min to do a «complete» gel manicure. the job was done quick & sloppy. & it costed $ 25 ! but then again a full set is $ 15. how that makes sense I have NO idea. gel is never that much especially for just a manicure. so today i see my friend’s nails & the gel is cracking, chipped & looks like she got them done 2 weeks ago. so we come in today so she can either get a refund or a better job done with the guarantee that her nails will not crack or chip within 24 hours. the manager is called over the phone & my friend explains herself & the manager says the people here are not allowed to give refunds bc she is not present but she can get her nails done over. my friend says okay so what if the same thing happens again? the conversation was going nowhere so the phone is given back to the worker & the manager is on speaker. she starts talking to the worker in Spanish telling her don’t give her a refund, she’s a blanquita right? I can tell if she’s making a fuss. um WHAT? i don’t care if she is purple, the fact that she said she’s making a fuss bc she’s white is ridiculous & the worker quickly told her she was with a friend who spoke Spanish. i see NO licenses on the wall, in almost all legit nail salons there are cosmetology/​nail technician/​etc licenses. the only reason they’re in business is bc of their low prices. but then again you get what you pay for. NEVER again.

Worst fill in ever. My normal salon closed so I picked this place based on tips and reviews. Terrible decision. The girl drilled through my nail, into my nail-​bed and made it bleed (on 2 fingers). I looked around and didn’t see any sterilization equipment. So now I’m terrified that in going to get an infection. She also didn’t get all polish off my nails before applying the acrylic so now I have gray edges. Never again.

Great place to get your extension nails done. It’s only $ 12.00 for the set. Adela makes the cutest nail designs! very creative.
